Pros: Comfortable bed, beautiful place to view stars and a lovely host-thanks Ruth
Pros: Everything! Customer service, help and attentiveness from Ruth. The size of the rooms, the quality fixtures and fittings. Amazing breakfast and lots of space to relax in.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Pros: My 3 children and I loved our stay in the New Zealand room at Bundanoon Lodge - Ruth was very helpful and welcoming, and her friendly dog was a bonus! The room was very comfortable and well-furnished, with a large bathroom - there was plenty of space for the four of us, and we slept well. The breakfast was fantastic - we enjoyed feeding the parrots on the verandah too! Definitely a high quality establishment, and we would love to stay again.
Pros: Location and clean
Cons: Poor welcome process - no was was present and we had to follow signs to get our room key. We met Ruth after we got back from dinner in town and we informed her that we needed to leave early for a busy and full day of golf and required breakfast before 8am if possible. Noting that it is advertised thta breakfast is between 8-9.( No intimacy that a b& b typically offers.)We were told by Ruth she had a full house and this was not possible to accommodate us but was assured that a cold breakfast would be ready by 8am and that we may not be served a hot breakfast. Upon arrival for breakfast at 8am no toast, coffee or tea was available only fruit salad with no yoghurt or milk was visible for the cereal. No effort or attempt to look after us was made and when we asked for the toast the response was abrupt and that she would get to it! This is not acceptable. We have stayed at a number of b&b's and have never felt so poorly treated! We paid for bed & BREAKFAST!! If you can't look after a full house then limit your bookings please or engage sufficient staff to meet your customer expectations and needs. John & Nerina stayed 6/10/19 and won't be back!
Pros: King size bed, spa, under floor central heating plus reverse cycle air conditioning in our room. Door onto verandah and garden. Fresh, homemade bread & hot bacon & eggs for breakfast. Fireplaces in common rooms.
Cons: A couple of visible cobwebs (but I'm petrified of spiders, so I notice). Spa wasn't as clean as it could be - possibly just residue from cleaning product.
Pros: The atmosphere the welcome Ruth is so lovely easy going and friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
Pros: Spacious room with WiFi and pleasant sitting areas both inside and out. Relaxing atmosphere throughout the lodge and very quiet. Great breakfasts cooked perfectly.
Cons: Didn't have more time to stay another night.
Pros: Quiet and clean
Cons: Use of air freshener sticks Decor
Pros: The lodge and its grounds are absolutely beautiful. I loved the room i booked and although its fully self contained, we spent most of our time relaxing by the fire place in the public living room . Ruth encourages you to make yourself at home and use the public areas of the house , it's just the nicest B&B i have ever stayed in. She also puts on a wonderful breakfast...5 star experience!
Cons: Nothing. I couldn't fault it.
Pros: Large bedrooms with dining area and lounge area in same space. Beautiful views to the outdoor gardens and lawns. Your host Ruth is so helpful and kind. Nutritious and delicious breakfast.

Pros: The location and the friendly owner
Pros: Very friendly and knowledgeable host. Great breakfast. Nice location, close to the national park.
Cons: Light coming in through the window above the bed, shining on our faces...a minor issue only.
Pros: Hosts were fantastic and helpful about local walks and attractions. Breakfast was delicious . Place is very quiet and perfect to access nearby walks.
Cons: This is only a very minor thing as everything was just about perfect but a rubbish bin in the room in addition to the very tiny one in bathroom would be good.
Pros: The friendliness of Bronwyn & David as soon as we arrived. Immediately offered afternoon tea with home made cakes. Very delicious breakfast - pity we didn’t think of the evening meal option earlier. The downstairs facilities were great & the bedroom very spacious & comfortable. Garden setting was quite attractive. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in a nice location.
Cons: Nothing to mention.
Pros: The warmth and generosity of our hosts. I really enjoyed their company and understanding of those of us who had arrived somewhat frazzled. The food was exceptional. I did not need morning tea after my delicious, filling breakfast, II wish I could make my coffee at home taste so good. I can;t wait until the next time.
Cons: Nothing! Everything far exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Bronwyn and David. You deserve to do well.
Pros: Easy booking in process. Spacious bedroom, well appointed and very comfortable bed. Enormous bathroom with plenty of hot water. House was snuggly warm. David cooked a wonderful breakfast. Plenty of coffee and and a variety of teas to choose from. Homemade marmalade and jams (Try the lime) Were great. Bronwyn? was a wealth of local information and suggested a short drive to local National Park and it's lookouts. She also pointed out a couple of easy walks . We got to see plenty of wildlife and birds. Next time we will stay longer.
Cons: Nothing.This is a classic traditional B & B.
Pros: Great location quiet clean well appointed warmly greeted on arrival and during our stay, beaut breakfast
Cons: Nothing to not like
Pros: Bronwyn & David are incredible hosts, the accommodation is so comfortable with everything thought of for a relaxing stay and Bronwyn’s brownie is to die for!
Pros: Comfy bed Huge breakfast! Great bathroom facilities

Pros: Loved the ambiance of this historic guest house. Beautiful touches, wonderful open fire, and second guest lounge with streaming morning sun, gas fire. Tasty homemade biscuits supplied with tea and coffee provisions. Quality linen. Very hospitable hosts
Cons: All lovely. One suggestion to improve breakfast would be to offer locally made jams and marmalades instead of those little packets.
Pros: Lovely old style guest house with cosy guest lounge rooms. Own entry door to room.
Cons: No dislikes.
Pros: I adore this beautiful grand house with its unique ambience so it’s nicely fitted with all the trimmings of a grand Edwardian House and the frosty iced night air is to die for. I have stayed on three occasions once by chance with my partner in 2007 and once with my close friend Kerrie and now my two close friends Kerrie and Michelle we will make this our ritual as the fireplace and pretty decor with a full array of furnishings bring a comfort and heart warming stay
Pros: Place has just been renovated and very tastefully, it was a cold day but the place was warm with big log fire and gas heating throughout, good heating in bedrooms, nice showers and bathrooms. Friendly owners John and his wife, very chatty and informative. Nice backyard and grounds for having drinks outside and games room snooker and table tennis There was only one other family there, not sure how it would cater for mostly booked out ...say weekends, suspect a bit noisy
Cons: Continental breakfast was ordinary, just toast and cerials, do expect a little more these days , say hot boiled eggs for example, no hot water jug to top up coffee/tea, and We asked prior to arriving to they facilitate for someone with a dairy allergy, and the reply was..bring your own, which was poor. Dining room not open, but went down to local just done up pub for excellent dinner.
Pros: Loved everything! It was so cozy I didn’t want to leave. Breakfast was also lovely.
Cons: The train noise every now and then
Pros: Breakfast was healthy and good
Cons: No TV in the room
Pros: This is a wonderful place to stay. It was comfortable and convenient. We stayed in the cottage at the back and it had everything we needed. The heaters were on when we arrived and the hosts are very friendly
Pros: Location was great, and the spa isfantastic.
Cons: Room is extremely basic for the price paid ($260) No T.V, and only a small heater to keep the room warm.
Pros: Absolutely beautifully done from the well appointed room to the super comfortable bed to the lovely lounge area to the included healthy continental breakfast...The Bundanoon Guest House was a last minute reprieve for us & we were grateful to have found it. Jon was a delightful host and looked after every detail. Highly recommend.

Pros: A real surprise for us in a nice way. Did lack some expected amenities but made up for it in character. Loved it for a 1 night stay. Damien was a great host also.
Cons: Pretty modest amenities
Pros: We really liked that it was a reasonable price but very unkept.
Cons: The bath leaked had no hot water the last morning and nothing to wash / dry dishes. No clean towels daily.
Pros: The room, very spacious and comfortable, the view and garden are spectacular The staff are friendly M
Cons: The door could be a it quieter
Pros: Loved the location, views, historical relevance and the overall landscape
Cons: Had issues with the Bathroom smelling of mould and seemed to come from the carpet. Could have had better breakfast supplies
Pros: Great location to visit the Southern Highlands. Hillview has that old world charm, lovely & quiet just the sounds of birds & that view is perfect.
Cons: Didn't like having just one cereal at least two choices to pick from would have been better. Found previous occupants socks beside the bed. Would have been nice to read something about the history of Hillview.
Pros: The fabulous sculptures dotted throughout the property and the views.
Pros: Hillview was a great experience. It is a beautiful old home located in magnificent grounds. It is not pristine but has a wonderful atmosphere and so much space. The continental breakfast was very generous complete with real coffee.
Pros: The grounds and views were fantastic
Pros: We absolutely loved this place, the cottages were full of character, the heaters had been turned on which was thoughtful, comfy bed, surrounds were gorgeous and our breakfast was excellent. Thank you Damien, we had a lovely two nights.
Pros: We really enjoyed our long weekend staying in the Beauchamp cabin. The room had everything we needed, and we didn't mind making do without the things the room didn't have (like a kitchen sink). Best of all, it is central to all of the places we had planned to visit - everything is 15 mins away.
Pros: The history and the location. The farmland and views were amazing.
Cons: There were very limited facilities for food preparation and washing up. A cutting board and knives would be useful as l had to use a magazine to slice bread etc on and fortunately had knives with me. Also a plastic basin and dishwashing liquid was all that was provided. No dish cloth or sponge to actually wash dishes with or wipe the table. There was a tea towel.

Pros: Dog friendly.
Cons: Restaurant was only open Friday night.
Pros: Having a kettle in the room. Beds comfortable. Shower was good. Room clean.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Pros: We only stayed 1 night for a wedding but the staff were very friendly and helpful and rooms were clean and spacious. The beds even had electric blankets for the cold highlands nights. Couldn't really fault anything.

Pros: Not really anything
Cons: No tv in room, old rickety beds
Pros: welcome by host , accommodated me by serving breakfast early so i could catch early train
Pros: The couple running the BnB was delightful.
Pros: Gorgeous old property, beautifully maintained and comfortable. The hosts were a lovely couple who have been running the B&B for 20 years, and they clearly care a lot about the place. Unfortunately missed breakfast as we slept in - although Tina did offer to prepare a late breaky for us, we had to decline and get going. We'll definitely get up earlier next time! It was a pleasure staying there, thank you for having us!
Cons: Our own fault - we walked from the train station, when we really should have caught a taxi. With luggage it was a bit of a hike, but taxis are easy to come by and not too pricey, so we used the local service from there on.
Pros: Lovely old-fashioned homesead with an amazing breakfast.
Cons: Nothing really. Our room was very comfortable and our hosts were great.
Pros: Really lovely B&B - this is a place where you get the great old fashioned B&B service. Full cooked breakfast, greeted by the owners at the door who will happily chat through the history of this beautiful old home. And it is beautiful!
Cons: Nothing really- loved the place and would love to go back.
Pros: Super clean; charming house; and charming people Tina and Brian. I wanted to stay forever.
Pros: Nice people, comfy room with reasonably good amenities
Cons: Gardens and surrounding area was not as per the photos. On a very busy road although the room was quiet.
Pros: Great breakfast, nice hosts, lovely home.
Pros: Excellent breakfast A real gem of a property in excellent condition like something from the Hamptons
Located in Sutton Forest, Peppers Manor House is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Southern Highland Wines and Leighton Gardens. Featured amenities include express check-out, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Sutton Forest? This hotel features 3627 square feet (337 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The scenery and the surrounding area near the Fitzroy Fall was great.
Cons: The price was too high for the holiday season and not at all value for money. The area has a serious bug issue. We had literally thousands of ferry flies in our bathroom when woke up in the morning. No bug killer spray was provided in the room. It would have been helpful to have one.
Pros: The grounds
Pros: we are a mum dad and our son, so the room we stayed in was probably little cramped but for one night was ok.
Cons: When we returned to our room after dinner in town, we realised there had been an infestation of bugs (fruit fly like bugs) throughout the room. This included the bedhead and the pillows. It was quite disgusting. The staff contacted that night did try their best to help ... there was no other clean room available ... so in the end she sprayed the room w flyspray and tried to vacuum up most of the bugs. When that was all done this was about 11pm. We had no other option but to stay the night there especially with a 6 year old. We flipped our sleeping positions so our heads would not be near the bedhead. We did appreciate the staff’s efforts that night as there wasn’t much else she could do in such a situation at that time and we recognise that. However the response (or lack thereof) the next day was what annoyed us. When checking out it was just a cursory “oh we are sorry about that”. There was no recognition that the situation was totally unacceptable, especially for the price paid ($500/night). We did not feel that there was any genuine attempt to explain the situation or make things better.
Pros: great experience !! highly recommended for families to stay over the weekend.
Pros: Loved the location. The old manor house was quite quaint.
Cons: The on site restaurant is very expensive and not suited for families.
Pros: An impromptu visit to the southern highlands meant we got to stay at the quintessential property with grand old world proportions.
Pros: Grounds are beautiful and a lovely open fireplace, staff were lovely and prompt and the cooking at the restaurant was lovely.
Pros: I loved the old world charm, and history. The fireplace was a winner.
Located in Bundanoon, Bundanoon Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Santi Forest Monastery and 9 minutes from Sunnataram Forest Monastery. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: I would have appreciated if I had a small bar fridge, to keep cold drinks, specially in summer, and a little table and couple of chairs that I can sit and have my morning coffee, also for my laptop
Pros: A really cute little country pub hotel, great value for money.
Cons: It was quite noisy, between the pub noise downstairs and the adjacent train tracks. However we were aware of this ahead of booking, and the noise subsided quite early into the night.
Pros: Staff were very welcoming Food was delicious Bed was comfortable! Great little spot!
Cons: The other guests slamming doors were a tad annoying.. Their wasn't a lot of privacy in the the bathroom.. You could see through the door!
Pros: It's a very friendly place, room were immaculate and bed super comfy
Cons: White Wine selection could be broader . Beer garden needs an update.
Pros: Excellent location, great food, very friendly staff, cleanliness, heating system, beautiful nature all around the place, variety of singing birds, cosy little shops and cafes close to the railway station. Definitely will be back!!!
Cons: No air conditioner in summer time
Pros: The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and never rushed no matter how busy it was.
Pros: Comfy beds & great atmosphere
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: Lovey friendly service and our meal was excellent, with un expectantly good waiting staff.
Cons: Please ask the management to put bathroom doors on the en-suite.... it’s a new level of intimacy to look directly at your partner on the toilet. Apparently this is the new thing in hotel accomodation.... but it’s revolting. A) There is no privacy when your partner is on the toilet. B) It makes it feel like your bed is in the toilet. Please please please re think this interior trend!
Pros: It was basic but good. Shared bathrooms are not to everyone's taste but were sufficient for us. The bedroom was not lavish but the bed was extremely comfortable. We arrived fairly late on a Saturday evening and finding check-in staff was a minor challenge but once done, all went well. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Saturday night meant live entertainment, which was not to our taste and went on longer than we would have liked but not excessively so, and the room was not right next to the action. We had no opportunity to sample the food service and no breakfast was offered.
