7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast and coffee was nice, nothing fancy
Cons: I did need to reheat the burrito in my room in the microwave
5.0 Okay
Pros: We arrived at 11:00 pm. Even though we called earlier and were informed that office was open "24-7" nobody opened door to admit us to our room. Luckily, the owner of the restaurant next door happened to be working on his place ... he knew where to pound on the door so we could be admitted to our room.
Cons: Nobody cleaned the room after we left for daily activities.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, beds are big and comfortable
Cons: The shower did not work very well. Either too hot or too cold.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: As we arrived, I was not too sure whether I've made the right choice with this booking. From the outside it looked like one of those very basic motels, sort of old looking, located right on the main street. Upon my booking I've asked for a very quiet room and I was very happy that a room in the far back (away from the street) was reserved for us. The room was very quiet, we had a good night's rest. Breakfast is "just" coffee and burritos, which have been very tasty. However you have to be early to still be able to grab some of the burritos. It was around 8:00 and there were almost none left.
Cons: Wifi was spotty and hardly worked in the room. The lady at the reception was very helpful and tried everything she could in making the line work faster (she went into another office to reset the box).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast burritos were a bonus.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the motel is ideal. It was in between all the activities we wanted including Lassen National Park (Cinder hike, Paradise Valley, and if you walk around the lakes and creeks you can see the trout!), Lava Tubes National Monument (beautiful wildflower and butterfly hikes and the lava tubes are all different), Burney Falls (where the black swifts were flying early in the morning), the triple falls in McCloud (where we watched the river otters swimming in the Lower Falls), and Mt. Shasta. There is a nice restaurant right next door which served salmon and steak and Safeway was close by. We had a minifridge inside the motel room and we ate breakfast and dinner in our room frequently because we had a small table and two chairs. We had a screw in a tire which the local tire place- Les Schwab- removed and didn't charge us. We always had warm showers at the end of the day.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: 2 Drunk guys drank and partied until 3am right outside our door. Shady guys. Also breakfast burritos were from kitchen from bowling alley, we walked over to bowling alley and saw the dirty kitchen/restaurant.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is excellent
Cons: Value, bath size, furniture is old.

7.0 Good
Cons: a little overpriced for the room and location.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Charm is no-frills, but rooms have been updated. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. Large bathroom with a good shower. The staff were very nice and accommodated my late arrival. I will come back next time I’m in the area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I bring my own breakfast. The batteries were low in my TV remote. I asked one of the staff to replace them, which he did. When he brought it back to the room, I tried to tip him and he refused the tip. I'm assuming that's your policy?
Cons: When they painted the walls in the bathroom, they got the paint on the baseboard and didn't re-paint the baseboard. This was in room 135. The refrigerator wasn't in the spot in the dresser with the microwave. I don't know why. On the day I left I went to get some ice and the room was locked. So I had to go to Safeway and buy ice instead.
7.5 Good
Pros: Like the decor. It has a desk with a chair.
Cons: A bit noisy. Roommate on the top floor were pacing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good except the AC unit is very loud so it was hard to sleep. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Noisy AC unit blowing on bed.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location close to Burney Falls
Cons: Breakfast is just a packaged sweet roll and coffee, juice. Room was really small, about half the size of a standard hotel room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and room had all the amenities needed. Pretty close to the center of town too.
Cons: N/A Thought it was great
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location! Convenient for restaurants in Burney and then of course to see Burney Falls! Nice large bathroom also and then fairly quite location with no disturbances at night from road or loud people partying or puffing! Also bed was fairly comfortable as mattresses go!
Cons: A couple of issues: One was the strong odor of ant spray in room! The other problem was that we did not know there was a remote control for the air conditioner which was located too high for one of us to reach and it got very hot at night and the taller one had to turn on the air conditioner and then off again a couple of hours later because a little noisy. We found out about the remote control being in the nightstand the next morning when checking out! Please mark the remote control with air/conditioner remote and leave out in the room somewhere or advise guests that it is in the nightstand drawer (brand was General Electric). Screen in room had a tear in it so hesitant to leave bathroom window open. Room a little small.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and quiet as well as being in a excellent location to see the sights.
Cons: No pool or hot tub
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It’s an older hotel but well kept and clean. We had the family room that looks to be the former live-in managers quarters. It was large and comfortable. It really was a great room.
Cons: It was all good.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. AC and internet worked well. Bed very comfortable. Is an older property but cute and generally well maintained. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent value.
Cons: Lady that checks you in could be more welcoming. One thing that would make a big difference is to have a light in the area where you store your luggage. It’s very dark back there and having a light would make it much easier to find things when rummaging through your suitcase looking for things. Hardly major gripes though.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: 1) Cable TV is awesome
Cons: 1) Room is too small.2) And too old.3) AC is too loud.4) Breakfast is the worst among all hotels with free breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean neat comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Room very clean. Staff nice. Great value. Would stay there again
Cons: Thankful for the a/c but would have preferred it if it could have blown at the end of the bed instead of the head. Tiny issue as the overall stay was excellent.
6.8 Good
Pros: Plenty of parking, although not right in front of room. Restaurants in town mostly open only for breakfast and lunch/brunch. Had dinner finally at casino; OK food and service, decent prices.
Cons: Woman who checked me in had a very poor attitude. No smile, no greeting, waited for me to initiate conversation. Acted as if she would have preferred being elsewhere. Different woman checking out was more pleasant. "Free" breakfast only until 9am.
6.8 Good
Pros: I had booked a family room and there was plenty of space.
Cons: Breakfast was bad.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: N/a
Cons: Parking can be tight
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: About the only place in town
Cons: The bed bracket was hanging out the edge of the bed about 3 inches . I was carrying in a bag, caught the bracket with my foot, fell into the night stand . That cut my leg open, not fun. I told the lady at the front desk at very nicely at check out. All she said was ,we will have to fix that. No apology to me , sorry about that or are you all right . Still have the scar.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The continental breakfast was appreciated. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Manager took note of a squeaky bathroom door hinge and said it would be fixed that day. Location right on 299/Main St. made it very convenient for everything in the Burney area. I will try to stay here again when I return to this area.
Cons: Not much to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just a danish.
Cons: There was a 2" wide spider in the room by the shower. A little freaky, but given the hotel was by a National Forest, not surprising.
