Pros: The welcome when we arrived in the evening was lovely. Mark met us at the car and carried our bags through. Both mark and Simon introduced themselves and the service started from there. They brought tea and cake to our room and orientated us to the area with recommendations of where to go. The room was absolutely amazing, we chose to stay in the room with 4 poster bed. The room was well laid out, bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was clean and smelt lovely. The room was cleaned and bed made daily. Breakfasts were absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended, we will certainly return many times

Pros: Simon and Mark were the perfect hosts. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is those extra little touches, including home made delicious cake, which is one of the reasons that you can see why this guest house has the rating that it does! The indoor swimming pool was also an added bonus for our daughter who couldn't wait to come back to the guest house from a trip out to have a swim!

Pros: My grandson and l had a fabulous stay at St Aubyn's guest house, Mark and Simon work very hard to make their guests feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is served with a lovely smile. It is all spotlessly clean and in a great location. We enjoyed everything from the delicious breakfasts, to the extra comfy beds, to the great little swimming pool. Plus we were greeted with coffee, cake, fruit shoot and icecream on arrival and a box of Maltesers was left for us in our room during our stay. Thank you Mark and Simon you made our little break very enjoyable.

Pros: Allan & Jo were very welcoming, putting us at ease straight away. Nothing was too much trouble, the positive reviews we previously read were all accurate. Parking was not a problem, within 100 yards of the b&b, the b&b is ideally situated for the seafront, shops and amenities, situated in quiet, pleasant surroundings. We would whole-heartedly recommend and would stay there again without hesitation. Excellent price, especially with the fantastic breakfast. Spotlessly clean en suite room with ceiling fan to keep cool. Bed was very comfortable, slept very well.

Cons: Nothing. Every thing was just so. Could. Not find any fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hosts who seemed genuinely interested in interacting with their guests. Bedroom was a decent size, maybe a little small for some people, but we were happy enough. The room was very clean and had so many things included, such as a speaker and little toffees and biscuits. My other half was especially happy when he found the hot chocolate capsules! The ceiling fan in the room worked well and kept us nice and cool until we felt we wanted to sleep. We both slept very well on an exceptionally comfortable mattress. Breakfast was great! We were amazed with the choices and how organised the hosts were. We loved how we had our own little table in the dining area, which had been laid perfectly with some flowers (real!) and some very fancy curly butter. We loved the toast that came out, very tasty. The B&B was just a short walk to the coast (5 mins maximum) and this was great for us who spent our day exploring the pier and Weston itself. Thank you for such an incredible stay! We will be back again for sure!
Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived at Maria's Bella Vista, we felt a sense of warmth and felt very welcome. Maria was just about to have a well earned rest, and she saw us arriving at her hotel and welcomed us just as if she was our mum, warmly and genuinely. She took us up to our room which was at the top of the house. The bedding was very luxurious and we felt like we were in an expensive hotel. All the bedding was coordinated and of a high quality. The towels were soft and the bathoom was suitable for our family, with ample toilet rolls and space to hang wet towels. There was hot water for all of us to have a shower. Maria was very open and happy to help us with any information we needed. Her hotel has two rooms downstairs just like a lovely home. There are lovely toys for the children to play with and comfy sofas. You can tell the home is loved by many as there are lots of pictures and drawings on view of grandchildren. The breakfast in the morning exceeded our expectations. There was so much to choose from and everything was of a high standard. Cereal, fresh fruit salad with juicy cherries and strawberries, pineapple and grapes, croissants, then fresh toast, cooked breakfast and fresh juice, tea and coffee. The waiter was welcoming and dealt with the customers diligently and systematically, always polite and happy to oblige with funny orders like my daughters of two sausages and nothing else!!! THe hotel was very busy yesterday and today and Maria gave everyone a warm welcome in the morning and a genuine hug as we said goodbye. This is place I can see our family visiting regularly or even by myself. Its location is 5 minutes from the beach with lovely restuarants on the next parralel street. Based on a residential street, the hotel had a much friendlier atmosphere and vibe compared to the others where customers were inside and not outside on the veranda. Thank you Maria for making us so welcome. Bernadette and Savio and family xxx
Cons: Nothing - everything was great!!

Pros: The hotel was warm and inviting and was made to feel at home straight away. The room was spotless and fresh. And Maria (the proprieter) was very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay as good as possible. If we stay in 'weston' again we will make sure we stay at the 'Bella Vista Hotel' Just to say thanks maria and staff for making our stay trouble free.

Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice. The room (single) had plenty of room. Very happy to return there when back in the area.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was hearty, full, and cheerfully served. The helpings were plentiful and tasty.
Cons: It could have been better if I was not expected to phone in when I realised that I may not be able to arrive before 8pm sharp. I drove from East Kent and I made it to Weston Super Mare just before 8pm, so I did not elect to phone in, however there was a major road closed within Weston, had to drive through dark narrow streets and find a way through, and then I quickly parked in a nearby street and walked to the B&B's door. The doorbell did not work. I twice rapped on the letter box but no answer. I did not notice that my phone battery was too low to call anyone. Luckily a guest came along and let me in and lent me her phone so that I call the number. This displeased the owner, that I was inside the foyer without authorisation. It needs to be made crystal clear in the booking website blurb that it is essential to phone ahead if arriving even a few minutes after 8pm. My BMW satnav had told me an eta of 20.00 hours exactly, so I did not think it was necessary to phone in while I was driving as fast as I could from Kent. I am not one to complain but I would recommend that little bit more flexibility needs to be afforded by the owner, if one arrives within the minutes following 8pm, as road conditions and phone failure can occur. The moral is, just phone in before 8pm if you are running late. Then presumably all will be cheerful when you arrive. I feel that when one is charging £40 like a hotel, one needs to expect the occasional late arrival and non-phone-in from a busy business traveller like myself. I did email that I am arriving 7pm-8pm, so they surely would be expecting me. Yes, on the door it says phone the number, but I was already there with my luggage, far from my car, so I would have had to take it back to the car, charge up the phone, and call to say that I have been trying the doorbell since 8.15 or so. I feel that would be unreasonable. Better to test the bell, and be listening out for it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was of a high standard. The landlady was very friendly - an excellent cook - and nothing was too much for her.
6.0 Good
Pros: Cosy, very warm and friendly.

Pros: I can without reservation or second thoughts whole heartedly recommend this b & b. Everything was great, the value for money superb and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Please do not waste time on star ratings as we did last visit to Weston, we stayed in an alleged 5 star gold last time, end of June, I won’t mention the name.....Oakover guest house and all I can say is that even with it’s 5 star gold rating it is nowhere near able to compete with this little gem of a b & b. Book it you will not be sorry. All the best Graham.

Pros: Beautiful family; very attentive and helpful. We felt at home from home and was welcomed. Fantastic breakfast and we had more than enough and couldn't move after lol! Warm caring atmosphere. What more can we say as the family were GREAT!!! We turned up and for some reason my bookings only showed for one adult but they were very kind and sorted out the situation instantly accommodating all 5 of us after a 145 mile journey with two having special needs(which they were great with). We wouldn't had known what to do it was not a case we could stay with a toddler and 3 boys and me and the other half. I'm very grateful to them for doing a marvelous job. Top B&B
