Pros: Nice and quiet, clean, amazing breakfast and top of the art hospitality!
Pros: ALL has been fine ....but the homemade cakes at breakfast will remain in our mind forever !
Pros: Cozy rooms in a villa where you feel at home by your mom. Villa with beautiful garden. Parking behind the gate on private land. The host is very nice. Absolutely perfect and unforgettable breakfast in the beautiful garden, painted by Andrea Boccelli.
Cons: There is no restaurant on foot or possibility wher to buy something, so you need a car to go for a dinner.
Pros: Lovely welcome and great hospitality of the Marina and his family. Little hideaway but still convinient location for exploring the scenic area and Castell Arquato . Will be back :)

Pros: We liked everything! From our arrival until we left. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable and had everything in it that we could want. The food and wine were exceptionally good and it was lovely to eat in the floodlit garden. Breakfast met every need and it was lovely to eat it in the beautiful dining room. The architect deserves a special mention because he/she has created a truly remarkable hotel.
Cons: We didn’t like leaving!
Pros: Could not rate our experience at this hotel high enough. Our dining experience was delightful, the staff and food were outstanding. We certainly would highly recommend this hotel to all travellers. The wine and limoncello beautiful.
Pros: Very nice hotel. Rooms were very spacious, and bathrooms also large. Food in resturant was very, very good.
Pros: Restaurant food and wine very good
Cons: Proximity to motorway and the noise.
Pros: The heart of this ‘relais’ is, without doubt, the excellent restaurant, and by extension, the team who look after one so well. The food was a combination of classic italian cuisine mixed with a variety of local dishes, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. A fine selection of Italian wines, reasonably priced, accompanied the menu. We cannot speak highly enough of the warmth and friendliness of the two ladies managing the restaurant. There is the option of dining indoors or ‘al fresco’ in the nicely maintained courtyard, weather permitting. With the aid of GPS or the instructions provided by the ‘relais’, the premises are fairly easy to locate, and offer a good base from which to visit nearby towns and villages, especially Parma and Cremona, before returning to the calm of the countryside and a relaxing dinner. Our room was well equipped and spacious, and we enjoyed the style with which the rooms had been tastefully decorated and furnished. Wi-fi connections worked brilliantly. Parking was easy and secure.
Cons: The breakfast did not remotely match the standard of the restaurant for lunch and dinner, It would have been nice, for example, to have had a better selection of foods, including milk to accompany the cereals, or fresh fruit juices, or fresh bread. We were a little surprised, on arrival, to have to search for the reception and to be pointed in the direction of our room, especially since we were, at that time, the only guests in the ‘relais’. It would also be nice if, having already provided a good range of seating outside in the gardens, the ‘relais’ could provide seat cushions! Having said all of this, we would happily return.
Pros: I really wish I could have given this place a great rating as our first impression was great. It's a beautiful country house, nicely re-done and has an amazing restaurant with some of the best pasta we ever had. We also had excellent wine and great service at the restaurant. BUT...
Cons: the place is in the middle of nowhere, so we were expecting a quiet night and hoping to get a good rest. Unfortunately this place is next to a high way which is noise 24/7. The biggest issue however was, that the hotel was hosting a party with a DJ for a big group. We couldn't sleep at all as it was loud until 3 in the morning. Nobody told us about that so we thought we'll give it until midnight. Since the music didn't stop we called reception at midnight and we were told the DJ would continue for another hour. Unfortunately it didn't! When we were checking out the offered us about 10 EUR discount for a nightmare of a night... The breakfast isn't great, only stale bread and some sweet stuff, doesn't match the quality of the restaurant.
Pros: The global set-up is ok, rooms are nice
Cons: Location is poor - access not easy to find (not on my GPS and without GPS ... huge challenge). The price at 115 EUR/night versus a location in the middle of nowhere, highway at 200 m (NOISE).... more appropriate at 60 EUR/night
Pros: The park and the old renovated buildings
Cons: Very nice place but difficult to find. Eating a bit limited and expensive but very good
Cons: Traffic noise and neighbours talking and walking until 3 am

Pros: Great themed hotel with attention to personal details in the interior. NIce bar (perfect Italian coffe) and very good, popular inhouse restaurant. Details of interior keeps your eyes wandering all evening and adds to the evening discussions. Parking within gates. Close walking the centre of city.
Cons: A quilt instead of sheets but this is Italy
Pros: Location- on the Via Francigena
Cons: It is on the Main Street and it was very loud at night, perhaps because there was a bar right outside our room.
Pros: My second stay here and it was great - again. A lovely old school kind of place. Really welcoming friendly staff. Rooms are what you would expect for the price - basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable. This place has a lovely atmosphere and they remembered me from my first visit too. This time I ate dinner - wow!! The restaurant is the highlight of this Hotel - great great food, local specialities, simply but beautifully cooked. And a fantastic soundtrack in the background too - not only can these guys cook but they know their tunes too!!!
Cons: If I have to find one thing to grumble about... the wifi is a bit on the slow side. But who needs wi-fi when you're stuffing your face in the restaurant :)
Pros: Clean lovely room and fantastic bathroom. Breakfast was great. Safe parking our car. Staff were helpful.
Pros: Great breakfast.
Cons: WiFi weak on the second floor but good downstairs.
Pros: Good value rooms. Free parking. Town centre location. The main attraction for me is the restaurant. Always local, seasonal produce. I have stayed here many times. Easily the best restaurant in town. Staff speak good english. The attached cafe is also good.
Cons: Rooms are basic, but more than adequate.
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location. Very comfy bed. Meticulously clean. All in all a top quality independent Hotel with lots of character. I am coming back again in 5 days time and will look forward to my second stay.
Cons: If I have to be really picky - there is no lift to the rooms so I had to carry a heavy bag up one flight of stairs - It didn't kill me though!!

Pros: Fantastic stay. We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the wonderful food. The Emilia at its best.
Pros: Fast receptionist.
Cons: Not corresponding to 4 stars standard (missing swimming pool etc. The location is suitable rather for business purpose (an only overnight), the ambiente not too friendly looking.
Pros: Good parking. Excellent coffee at breakfast, good staff .
Cons: Poor WiFi in my room
Pros: Everything but the staff was outstanding willl use again for sure
Cons: Nothing I really enjoyed my stay
Pros: Staff-excellent, Quiet, WiFi speed, Room size and comfortable beds, Onsite restaurant, Location- Grocery Store across the street
Pros: Very good facilities with nice hotel staff
Pros: Excellent staff service; the efficiency with which notions & facts are passed along with the pro-active attention to satisfying any request also shows in the pleasent comfortness of the hotel. Excellent structure, nicely built & easy to find. The rooms are very well done, spacious, luminous, modern & with all the necessary basics - same goes for the bathroom. The aircon-heating system is well balanced & soundless. Very good buffet breakfast. Piacenza is 15' away, very feasable.
Pros: The staff, the dinner in the restaurant and good value for money
Cons: Slightly quirky room decoration. Just not really our taste.
Pros: Good food, great friendly, would recommend.
Pros: The staff were the standout in this hotel. We were walking the Via Francigena and the staff could not do enough to help us, including taking us to our start point the next morning. They were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. A pilgrim’s dream!

Pros: Parking at doorstep. Had an early flight and have to check-out at 2:00am, so wasn't able to take the free breakfast. But Rafael served us a nice espresso, brioche & yogurt before check-out. That was sweet!
Cons: Pillows too thin
Pros: Location was perfect and the staff is excellent. Car park very practical. Coffee perfect !
Cons: The beds are not comfortable and the air conditioning needs to be fixed.
Pros: Comfy bed. Parking right in front of room. Nice and warm. Really helpful friendly staff.
Cons: Decor is a bit dated.
Pros: Convenient to motorway exit. Associated with v good restaurant approx 5km away, recommended by receptionist Good breakfast.
Pros: It was ok & just on route. Wouldn’t stay again too basic for the money you pay stayed in a lot better over Italy for better value.
Cons: Very pricey for a basic hotel. More like a travelodge, no facilities in the room.
Pros: It’s close to the highway so it’s a good stop point on a long journey. We paid 95€ for 3 twin beds and a basic breakfast and secure parking were included.
Cons: Our non-smoking room smelled of old smoke, there was a large open crack in the shower floor and the air conditioning temperature never went below 27, even when set on 23
Pros: proximity to motorway when you just want to stop for the night
Cons: pretty basic
Pros: Very helpful and nice personnel, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Without directions it is hard to find, as the address was incomplete for using navigator
Pros: Stopped off on our way to south of Italy. Price of room was excellent. Can back car right up to outside of room. Was very handy. Breakfast was good. Basic but expected due to price. Fresh coffee and best of all a decent cup of tea

Pros: Enzo the landlord could not have been more hospitable, helpful and welcoming. Perfect after a long day motorcycling.
Cons: On our visit everywhere close by was shut
Pros: Perfect place to share time with loved one
Pros: A very friendly owner, he gave me a good hint where to go for dinner at the Locanda Cittadella. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Shower curtain
Cons: Every thing was okay
Pros: Booked same evening as a last minute onroute stop-over. Clean, friendly and good value, would defiantly use again.
Pros: The owner was very friendly and uncomplicated. The room was nice and very clean! We were there when we travelled up to Southtirol.
Cons: There were a thousands of mosquitos (its not the fault of the hotel, bur just take mosquito spray with you ;-) )
Pros: Filipo on the reception was so friendly and kind :) thank you so much
Cons: The doors from the room to the hallway did not block noise at all and we were woken up by other guests going in and out of their room early in the morning.
The Hotel Concordia is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city.
Pros: Staff very nice. I arrived a lot earlier than check in time and the lady let me in (I asked to just leave the luggage and she said if I waited 15min she could finish the room and let ne in. That was very nice.)
Cons: Breakfast could have been a bit better.
Cons: The hotel check in policy of 5 pm seems rigid. Even after two requests to at least leave our bags earlier, we had to wait until 5. As tired pilgrims, we felt it was an unreasonably late check in policy.
Pros: Location, lovely room, very nice pictures and furniture. Had a kettle in the room to make tea.☺
Cons: Breakfast was below standard, we are walking the Via Francigena and there was no bread, cheese, fruit egg or muesli. The croissants were also rationed.
Pros: Ceaser is always a polite host (stayed here 4 years ago). He is very helpful, as is the rest of the staff. Fairly central location, easy access to train station, bars and resturaunts.
Cons: The price is not appropriate with the place. The hotel is very bad
Pros: Friendly staff and very good value for money
Pros: Kind, warm and caring staff, excellent wifi connectivity, and the location could not be more central.
Pros: In a good location for our requirements
Cons: Decor looked a bit tired but otherwise it was fine
Cons: Interesting "wildlife" in the bathroom!
Pros: VERY friendly staff, hotel located in centre of town, could not ask for anything more
