Pros: We loved that there was no TV. It was quite. Away from city life. The restaurant is right on the river plenty to see. Fantastic pool. Beautiful staff.
Cons: We would have loved to be able to buy snacks. Especially as we travelled with 2 teenagers. If they had a snack bar with other food it would be great.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They have amazing staff, we arrived around 9pm and the staff was all smiles helping us check in. The pool and lodge is so beautiful. It's a nice quiet weekend getaway.
Cons: The food was okay, the place can be better if they can re-look at the menu.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We live in Saigon and came to Mekong Lodge the first weekend it reopened after a long national COVID-19 lockdown. The staff were so accommodating and helpful to us. It has been a tough period for this region in Vietnam, and everyone at Mekong Lodge did a great job working hard to recover and welcome guests again. We took the tour organized by the hotel, and it was great to discover some of the local treasures of the region. We are now hooked on jackfruit and tapioca snacks. The Mekong and it’s people are special, so warm and gracious. We love this area and will return.

Pros: Very nice swimming pool by the river, with excellent cuisine.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous grounds, comfortable and big rooms, excellent breakfast, wonderful and kind staff, dog-friendly
Cons: The area is in the middle of the countryside so there isn't much to do outside of the resort. Good for a stay-cation but if you're looking to do some adventuring better go somewhere closer to the action.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Where do we start, as we arrived, we drove down a small lane way that opened up into an idyllic garden. Compared to the bustle of HCMC, this was the perfect escape. Walking through the gardens, we saw the swimming pool and restaurant, and we were met in reception by Duy, the manager, who had welcome drinks waiting for us. The silence was inviting and stunning. At this point, we still hadn't seen the view of the Mekong! The room was stunning. The air conditioning worked very well and because it was an eco room, we had refillable shampoos and soaps. We were also provided with two glass bottles of water each day, that they refilled.. if every hotel did this, it would be an amazing thing! If we had a slight grumble, the bed was a little on the hard side. But we coped! The shower was very good .. but a little tricky to use. It took a few moments to get the temperature right and when you showered, the pressure would come and go slightly- but that really didn't matter because the temperature remained steady! The food in the restaurant was devine... no other word for it. All meals were delicious and competitively prices, yes, a little more than town but you didn't feel you were being ripped off! Duy was the perfect host; he worked really hard to make sure that we had everything we could need (and more) ... he even brought us homebaked food and fruit from his own garden. A wonderful man! He also helped us to book up trips along the mekong river, and i would highly recommend these too. The swimming pool was fantastic. It has enough beds and maintains a calm atmosphere, next to the spa. You can also order drinks at the spa and then the waitresses bring them to you at the pool. We cannot thank Duy and his team enough.... it really was an incredible experience that we will never forget.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like! We loved it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast and great location. The staff were all very attentive and kind particularly the Manager who gave us good advice and took care of us both.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet to escape from noise and traffic in Vietnam. Very beautiful and full organic garden. Vegetables and fruits were used for cooking/dining.
Cons: Everything was perfect at the resort. But I would wish a little more timely response on emails.

Pros: Wonderfully nice people. We rented scooters and visited the area: great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, with very good English: after our late check-in the cook prepared a meal for us at 23.00 and brought it to our room. The place was exceptionally clean, with wonderful view on the lake and Mekong Delta. The hotel surroundings were just beautiful, including the swimming pool which looked very clean. The hotels restaurant was very spacious and clean witb panorama view and the breakfast was great (the best one we had during our stay in Vietnam). Additionally the staff organized for us a privite tour on a boat along the Mekong Delta.

Pros: The rooms were absolutely fabulous, the location is perfect as a destination for a countryside road trip, including the fact that even once you get to Cai Be it is quite off the beaten track. Loan is an amazing host. This trip and accommodation ticked all the boxes and then some.
Cons: There's absolutely nothing we didn't like. This was excellent, all around. Not a single thing to complain about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loan is a very attentive and caring host. Her food is absolutely delicious and inexpensive. A perfect place to relax for a few days!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly welcome by Loan, the Hostess. Nothing is too much trouble. Quite remote location but easy to reach by bike or motorbike taxi. An easy free bike into town. Excellent dinner menu at reasonable prices. Breakfast (included) was just perfect, served, like the romantic candlelit dinner, on the lawn. Fresh healthy, local produce- freshly baked bread. Caters for vegetarians. The bedrooms are well appointed with fun mosquito nets and good aircon. The en suite is partly open roofed giving an exhilarating shower. Massage lady is a proper therapist who really knows aged bodies! Cost £5 one hour. Organises fantastic tours. Laundry beautifully done, overnight and inexpensive. Best I can say is we will visit again which will be our third time!
Cons: There is nothing I didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ms. Loan and her staff was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The lodge was simple yet comfortable. It was truly an experience to wake up with roosters, have the open roof shower, go on the motorbike taxi, private boat tour and catch a glimpse of life in Cai Be. Ms. Loan even helped us out on organising the transfer to/from HCMC, motorbike taxi, and guided us around the Cai Be area. The food at the property was amazing. Thank you so much for giving us a memorable experience!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Quiet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice garden, very clean rooms and amazing beds. The host is very very careful and available to help you spend a perfect stay. She is also a very great cook.
Cons: A little complicated to access, a little more help on this part would have been appreciated. Concerning food, even if it is really good, it may be a little expensive considering the prices in nearby restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was large and super comfy. The bath room was opened to nature. Loan was a great host and a wonderful chef. I am impressed by her food. Oh and everything was reasonable.
Cons: The room didnt have slippers and the door didnt have a lock from outside but those didnt bother me much. They have a safe anyway.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Mrs. Loan, Kim and family are truly heartwarming and helpful. Besides that, both are excellent cooks! The 5 rooms (more like 5 little houses dotted in a garden) are spacious, fresh and the bed is super comfy. Open air shower, as always, a feast! Perfect hideaway in Mekong; far from big city buzz, full of Western comfort and slick design. Wonderful experience! Go for it!

We experienced amazing hospitality, and there was always fresh fruit available to snack on.The food was amazing, we chose to eat dinner each night at the homestay as the food was so good. There is plenty to explore on the island by pushbike, so much more than Google Maps show. We found a fantastic Pho restaurant near the market in the center of the island. It is also very easy to get to Cai Be to look around.
