6.5 Good
Pros: Stayed at the Loch Fyne Hotel and Spa for a couple of nights. The staff were attentive and friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of the town, and a very beautiful walk along the edge of the loch too. Breakfast choice was very good and well prepared. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed.
Cons: We had been delayed on our arrival, checking in was no problem, although there was no staff behind the desk we didn’t have to wait long. Dumped our bags and headed downstairs to the bar to find something to eat (20:55). Unfortunately there was also no staff behind the bar. Plenty rushing around the restaurant, but none willing to get behind the bar. By the time we were served (21:15) the barman advised us the kitchen was closed...at 21:00! So no food, unless we went back upstairs and ordered room service?! We decided not to bother. Anyway, off to bed after a couple of drinks, the room next to ours appeared to have several dozen drawers. (I counted 5 in ours), and the two guests obviously had to open and close all of them several times before going to bed and at 6:30 when they got up!! We could quite easily have joined in their conversation with them too. The walls appear to be made of cardboard, so if you cherish sleep bring ear plugs. Breakfast was great, again there seemed to only be one member of staff doing everything. Saying that, the staff were all lovely and very friendly, there’s just not enough of them!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, fantastic food, dog friendly
Cons: Not sufficient parking spaces
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great wifi Clean and comfortable Staff professional Breakfast choice exceptional
Cons: Slightly limited restaurant menu Small changing rooms in spa View from room
4.0 Okay
Pros: Drinks selection, clean spacious room
Cons: Dinner not up to standard poor quality food expensive, breakfast very average, leisure area poor sauna broken, outside jacuzzi out of order and steam room vents making an awful noise. Changing room facilities small not enough space for amount of people, no wet clothes bags, ran out of towels, hair dryer useless. Not enough staff during the day at the lounge area one member of staff for a full lounge...
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was lovely. Pool and leisure activities were very good. Very clean in general. Restaurant and bar area were comfortable and welcoming. Staff were lovely.
Cons: Parking wasn't great, as very limited spaces. Outdoor hot tub was also not working at the time of stay - but understandable.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Food was well cooked and breakfast was cooked to order

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy matress, nice room, wonderful views, friendly staff.
Cons: Not the biggest bed (standard double, though comfortable). Food in restaurant expensive for what it is. Overpowering paint smell in corridor (def not eco friendly paint!)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff lovely food good nice and clean
Cons: Bit quet
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location and the view
Cons: WiFi connection so poor it’s usable, staff are sullen, rude and unhelpful. The worst soundproofed hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. Stay here and you can here conversations, the tv, the plumbing and creaking floorboards from multiple rooms at the same time all night. Don’t expect a quiet night or a good night sleep
7.0 Good
Pros: Views
Cons: Shower poor. Bath marked. Service slow. Lacked atmosphere.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location: This hotel has a fantastic location overlooking Wonderful Loch Long. Parking: Ample parking spaces. Basic tea making facilities were provided in the room.
Cons: Hotel: Hotel is a dated but reasonably clean and would benefit from some updating. Customer Service: Booked a double bedroom but were given a twin with no prior communication for unavailability. The food in the restaurant for our evening meal and the breakfast was pretty average. Some of the staff certainly didn't seem that thrilled to be working there. Room was basic with dated furniture and shower. I felt the beds were hard and pillows lumpy but clean.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Perfect setting, perfect view. The shower was hot.
Cons: Staff front desk was ok, kitchen staff was unbelievable. Everybody was waiting for everything. The food was bad. Boiling some eggs took 30 minutes. From my room in the back I could see them take breaks all the time. Lack of training and proper management I’d say. The single room was small but reasonable. All feels like ‘gone glory’. The walls so thin that I could easily hear my neighbors.
3.7 Mediocre
Cons: As a travel writer I have been to all 50 states and 34 countries, thus I have stayed in countless hotels. Can't remember a worse experience that the Arrochar Hotel. Noise beyond belief.. Internet worked only minutes each day.

5.0 Okay
Cons: The breakfast was deep fat fried not a fan of that and the bar area seeting uncomfortable hard wooden seats.None of the log fires were actually lite and the evening meal was average at best.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The village inn was set in a great location with fantastic views The loch and mountain view s are stunning. The side cottage was superb , clean comfy and well equipped. The staff are very friendly and very dog friendly, which my Bella loved. She loves her fusses.
Cons: Not enough coffee and milk in cottage. It’s only a little niggle point. I suppose I could have asked for more. Sorry.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel friendly courteous staff homey feeling
Cons: We were booked for three nights but on the second night the dining room was closed and we were asked to dine in a smaller room or in the bar. Due to the current advise to keep a certain distance between strangers these requests put us closer which felt uncomfortable to the point that we cut our break by one night. But once things are back to normal I would assume we will at some time be returning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They where santizing all the time, wiping down bars, tables, etc Good food and breakfast and clean room
Cons: Nothing not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room with a lovely view. Lovely food . The staff are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to stay. Will be back again soon.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of parking Very friendly staff Our room was a good size with plenty of space. Lovely bathroom. Very clean. We were initially seated in a larger area of the dining room for Dinner which was quite brightly lit and very noisy but we asked for a different table and the waitress moved us to a much nicer spot very willingly. We could check in early which we appreciated.
Cons: A tad noisy outside our bedroom during the evening when we retired. The Reception isn't in the best place being situated in part of the dining room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was very nice, and food was good. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially the Manager (Andrew) and the new chap serving in the restaurant.
Cons: Had a problem with the room as it wasn’t what we booked and no one had told us in advance or on book in. But to be fair although we lost our Loch view the room rate was adjusted after we showed them what we had booked. We also had a problem with 2 of the orders in the restaurant with the wrong orders arriving but again the new waiter / supervisor in the restaurant was excellent and sorted everything.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location suited us as we were heading for Inner Hebrides next day Reasonably set back from the road, room was quiet Good choice of food in the evening and good breakfast
Cons: Our room booking was lost, so we turned up and just as well they had a space, although we had to take a twin room.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. Catered to our needs and made extra pancakes as a special treat. We also took away a delicious home made cake. Owner was very helpful and made us feel very comfortable. Great to have use of lounge and cosy fire.
Cons: Sink in room would be useful as room wasn’t en-suite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The clue is in the name, No. 15 Bed&Breakfast - the bed was exceptional and the breakfast delicious, generous and beautifully presented. Staff most warm, unassuming and charming. Available comforts included an avalanche of pillows, towels, fresh soap and high-end shower-gel - there are many, far meaner 2-star hotels that do not. Oh, and a grand setting so close to Loch Fyne you can hear the tide on the flood.
Cons: The decor is rather tired (though premises were exceptionally clean) and, at £45 a night, one doesn't expect to be sharing a bathroom - though that was clearly flagged up at booking. It should be borne in mind that accommodation in Inveraray and district is very, very expensive: nothing available in Inveraray itself south of £100 a night even this late in the season.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding! Lots of choices, and I had pancakes with a butterscotch toppin, and bacon, whilst my husband had the full fry. The bed was super-comfortable, and the host family was welcoming and great fun. And, the house is right on Loch Fyne, so the view was incredible.
Cons: It's only a small niggle, but I didn't know the bathroom facilities were on the ground floor and our bedroom was one floor up. At 67 with creaky knees and a need for a toilet every few hours, having the bathroom on a different floor isn't all that great. That's probably not a big deal to a younger person, but it is probably a good idea when booking to check this out before booking a B&B (the onus is on the traveler, not the host).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: As above! Beautiful view over the loch. Comfortable room and bed. Lovely dinner cooked for us in the evening.
Cons: Entrance and outside a little untidy and bathroom downstairs but would stay again, these outweighed by the positives.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent view, excellent evening meal and breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely host. Best views, even saw the dolphins!! Great breakfast, relaxing and very comfortable. Will definitely be back, thanks so much for having us. Xxx

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable with a lovely en-suite. We particularly liked the residents lounge on the first floor. The view of the Loch was so beautiful, very much like the view from our friends lounge in Strachur. Sadly we were there for his funeral.
Cons: Just the circumstances of our visit, but the staff were so kind they supported us well.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room, food and service .
Cons: The water pressure in the shower was poor, however I do know that is a general issue in the area, hence why I didn't complain. Other than that, it was a fabulous stay.
