Pros:The hotel itself was great
Cons:We had to have had the worst room in the entire room. Paper thin walls, super noisy, fresh paint smell, right next to the entrance of the hotel so no privacy from the outside patio. Super disappointed with our room.

Pros:This is a BEAUTIFUL RESORT, the location is EXCELLENT and the view is AMAZING but...
Cons:We were walking around in the room barefoot and after 15 min we noticed the bottom of our feet were BLACK. The carpet in our room was disgustingly dirty!!! Then there was not hot water for our entire stay. I understand hot water was a mechanical issue but dirty carpet in the rooms in a lack of cleanliness.

Pros:Location to Legoland
Cons:The room wasn't cleaned until the last day of our stay. There was construction going on. And, our room was dirty from the previous tenants. Not sure if the lack of attention was because we used Kayak, or if the Hotel is just that bad. I was surprised.

Pros:I loved the location. Walking distance from legoland, short drive to a variety of restaurants, and the Carlsbad outlet mall. Great family pool with splash pad and a onsite park. Rooms had a microwave and mini-fridge.

Cons:Still under construction in the "hotel" area. Lots of areas closed off with yellow tape, plastic covering on floors, one kids water park fountain toy was out of service.
