For us, Hotel Astrid was the best place to stay in Casablanca. Our room was really nice with a small balcony and exceptionally clean overall, we even had a small couch, so that we immediately felt at home there. We can only recommend everyone to stay here, as the staff is really nice and helpful as well! For the price it is really good value.
The room was spacious with two comfortable beds and a private bathroom. It was really clean and nice. The receptionist was also friendly, welcoming and helpful.
very nice room with balcony. fast internet. great hot water!
breakfast is not included but it's not a problem for me.
Well it was definitely good value for money - despite some negatives. Good location, staff speaking english(not so common in Casablanca), room was simple but ok, bathroom good with hot shower, good water pressure. Breakfast served, to the table from 7am( again not everywhere in Marocco so early)despite not being "too exciting" - amount was ok. I can recommend for those who don't want to spent too much on hotel but don't want to stay in the hostel either.
It was quite noisy at night, dogs barking loudly every night, cars passing bye. Air con in the room was just a decoration. It was a bit cold at night-fortunately there were extra blankets. Breakfast could have a bit more variety of choices. Hotel didn't have any extra facilities really.
The Breakfast for just 3EUR had coffee, juice, yougurt, bread, croissant, and egg. Good way to start the morning. My room had a good view, with balcony, shown in the pictures. Private shower and toilet. The staff was nice. I walked from Casa Port train station there, took me around 15-20minutes. The area has lots of night life and bars, and restaurants, raw and not exactly touristy, which is good for the authentic experience. Despite that, the hotel street is quiet for a good sleep. Good WIFI, had no problem with net speed.
Well, my room stayed below which I would presume to be some sort of machinery room, which started making a loud hammering noise from 8 AM. it's possibly it was only that day, or only in the morning, but it was kind of annoying when I was planning to sleep more. It's the only flaw in what I would consider a good stay.
