Pros: We stayed at this Hotel on the day before and after our Wedding. - The Staff extremely welcoming and friendly. All very polite and professional! Always smiling. Nothing is too much for them and they really go above and being to satisfy their clients. - Food very well prepared and presented. The breakfast is super delicious with an amazing ocean & pool view. - Superb room facilities, with beautiful decor. The size of the rooms and the ocean views are breathtaking! Cleaning - 5 Stars! We really enjoyed the kind gesture of the turndown service staff leave a chocolate on our bedside cabinet. - Excellent Spa facilities. Very nice outdoor pool with relax & calm music played by the DJ. On the Wedding day, in the morning, the Hotel prepared our room very early to leave everything clean and tidy for the photography and videography. A special thank you to the Laundry/Ironing Services for ironing my Wedding Dress and Veil so quickly and perfectly well done! When we arrived to the Hotel after our Wedding we had a little gift from the Hotel - Champagne and Strawberries with Chocolate, that was a very sweet and kind gesture. Definitely this superb Hotel helped our Wedding being even more special, happier and magical! Thank you so much for everything! P.S.: We will definitely come back on our 1st Year Wedding Anniversary!

Pros: Central and clean
Cons: Very steep stairs with no elevator option. Little variety for breakfast A little noisy with hearing other guests and pigeons outside our window
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Excellent location, cozy room, good price!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, friendly welcome and checkout!
Cons: Isolation from corridor was bad. Maybe a carpet would help
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly, they made me feel very comfortable. The close location to the town and the beach was really nice. I liked the breakfast across the way also.
Cons: We had a street view, which was fun to view, but had some night time noise.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the room adequately sized. It even had a balcony.
Cons: I like more privacy! I couldn't keep the window or balcony door curtains open without feeling uncomfortable. It's located over a tasting pub; so, expect noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was perfect, fruit, pastries, cheese meats and of course yummy custard tarts!
Cons: It couldn't have been better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent; only few minutes walk from the beach and the train station. Staff very friendly. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily.
Cons: The suites have no elevator; carrying the bag on the stairs was a bit annoying though staff offer their help.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast offered was all fresh (including orange juice) and for us it was just perfect. Good Airco. Was not noisy from outside although room was on the first floor facing the pedestrian area. The location is in a pedestrian area but the car park is a short walk (200m) and is safe for 4 Eur a day.
Cons: The shower needs an update. Bin needs replacing. Our room on the first floor was relatively small (compared to the others). There is no elevator but that is due to the historic building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Very friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. Delicious breakfast across the street in a relaxing environment. We had the top room which was very nice and airy with well working A/C. The room was great for a family with children - two single beds and a double bed. Modern double glassed windows make it very quiet. The location is excellent with close proximity to everything in Cascais. This was perfect for us.
Guincho Wayra House - Cascais - Building

C$ 86+
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful location, stylish interior and warm, friendly atmosphere. Our caring hostess and staff attended to every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We enjoyed meeting other guests from a range of countries.
Cons: All fine....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Daily yoga
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the positive peace & love vibe in Guincho Wayra House. I loved how the place was furnished; details with love & creativity implemented, the view from the terras, the fresh breakfast, the serenity of the place and the loving people who own/run the place!! Guincho Wayra house is not your average hostel, it is a house that you will treasure and coming here is like coming home!!
Cons: missing the safety bar for the top bunk bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked all the facilities, the place is amazing the vibe is very good ...
Cons: The only thing I didn't like is that you can't cook before 1pm, so if you're used to making breakfast eggs while you're staying you'll have to choose other things to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: *great location, next to the forrest, walking distance to the Guincho beach *great range of activities offered by the hostel *good facilities, you can easily rinse & dry your wetstuit
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great; yoghurt, fruit, cereals, milk, bread, butter, jam, etc. No meat or cheese, but you can get all these things from local markets that are close-by (one across the street, another at about 15min by foot). I loved the staff. Laura and Valentina are a great time; very welcoming, warm, and fun to be around. They were also helpful in driving me around to activities, booking the taxi to the airport, and other short trips I needed to make. The activities there are also a great bonus. I only tried surfing, but there is yoga (studio in the house!), rock climbing, wind surfing, etc. Definitely something to do every day and for every taste. The beach is not next to the house (about 20 minutes walk), but I enjoyed this. It's a nice walk through the woods, and a nice meditation on your way to the beach. The view from the balcony is also a big plus; you get to enjoy the mountain and the beach at the same time. Great job, girls. Would definitely return.
Cons: The shower downstairs has a bit of a delay for hot water but it was not a big problem.
7.0 Good
Pros: Ants in the kitchen that eat my food
Cons: Noisy germans in the morning Breakfast is not much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is perfectly situated for running in Sintra, reaching Lisbon and water for Kite, Wind surfing or just Surfing. The entire place is spotless. Laura and Valentina my hosts during the stay where super helpful. The place is really relaxed, tried Yoga for the first time. Wow that stuff is hard, but I like that its good. They also can arrange rock climbing and many other things. Nice breakfast too. Many thanks xx
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great vibe, great view, great house. The walk to the beach is lovely. Good breakfast and very friendly staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super nice staff really focused on your needs. Perfect place for visitors that are searching for good vibes
Cons: My stay there was too short!

7.0 Good
Pros: Really beautiful and intimate set-up. Most of the people we had a pleasure dealing with premises were either professional or genuinely nice.
Cons: It was made clear by the owner of the place that we were not welcome. This was done in a sophisticated manner and not in the vulgar way. We do have an idea what is behind this but it's not a subject to discuss openly on web. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place for people who are not "old money" or present minors.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming family run large house with pool. Really relaxing and very comfortable. Attention to detail in every aspect. The breakfast excellent. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.
Cons: Location not ideal, 10/15 minutes walk from centre of Cascais.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: All round a high quality experience. Very comfortable accommodation with well trained and attentive staff. Great bedroom, excellent facilities, calm and relaxed atmosphere in a very upmarket, residential neighborhood. Generous, nourishing breakfast included. Best for mature couples with two or more nights to spend in Cascais.
Cons: It’s situated too far from the beachfront action and requires a taxi ride each way. You can walk the approximately two kilometers but it’s not interesting and there’s not much en route. That’s not a real disadvantage considering the high quality of the accomodation and the outstanding service of Uber, but bear that in mind. The bedroom is not equipped with tea and coffee making facilities or a bar fridge and the addition of these small comforts would be an advantage.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Being able to walk to downtown - less than half an hour. Quiet. Great amenities, including a pool area. We had a nice port wine tasting during happy hour.good
Cons: Nothing. Everything was fine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous villa, breakfast was delicious staff were so friendly and helpful
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in room. A little too far from town for walking
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing environment. Good service . Clean . Good breakfast and food. Hosts do everything to make live comfortable .
Cons: Sometimes it ook some time to get thins done but this is probable that we are coming from hectic working environment where things have to be done immidiately. Pool could be heated with solar energy to make it possible to swim even in colder periods. Will be appreciated by several guest during our stay!
5.8 Okay
Pros: breakfast was good, although extra was charged for any coffee not out of coffee flask. It seems that the property wasnt quite as advertised...no free pick-ups from airport...no afternoon teas...no wine tasting or yacht trips available.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. Friendly and so helpful.
Cons: Was just a little far away from the village and beach.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owners with great service , a very nice Boutique hotel with lovely rooms and great pool and living room
Cons: Location at a main road is also during night noisy with open windows . For Cascais city center one needs a car and find a parking space
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A real home from home. We stayed for 3 nights after travelling down from St Malo, France, to visit the Harley Davidson Rally in Cascais. So I was more than pleased when the guest house more than exceeded my expectations. They allowed us to park our motorbikes behind the security gates, which is always a bonus. We had a big comfortable room with big light bathroom. Breakfast was full of choice, and very well presented. What more could you say, everyone made our stay perfect.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredible. They went above and beyond to learn our names and give us great recommendations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: all very good and fully up to expectation. staff wonderful. going to pool at Albatroz worked well.
Cons: Had to move room and down-grade as room on the town square noisy-noise from hostel over square went on to 0140 on Thursday night , very very loud. Moved to a room on back of hotel which was peaceful. the town of Cascais decided to start replacing the cobbles on the road at height of tourist season which meant could not sit on terrace for breakfast as dusty and noisy (JCBs, angle grinders, jack hammers)-beyond control of hotel though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: There for the Harley Davidson European Rally and the hotel was in perfect position to enjoy.
Cons: Some of the paint schemes are a bit on the dark side especially on the stairs
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location in Cascais for station, old town and sea. Beautiful room-all green! and views. Delicious breakfast each morning, lovely terrace for a sunny evening drink before dinner. Really lovely staff who were so charming and helpful. A truly wonderful 3 night stay.
Cons: Really liked everything!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Setting location terrace
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved staying at this property; great location, helpful staff, comfortable and well-equipped rooms with beautiful views of the bay. Would highly recommend!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about our stay. The location is perfect, fantastic sea views and in a bustling but quiet spot. Every member of the team was welcoming, professional and seemed genuinely happy to have us there! Breakfast was great, lovely selection of yoghurt, fruit etc and you could order any other items like eggs or omelettes. We were lucky enough to stay in Room 360, right at the top with 3 balconies and the most incredible bathroom suite I’ve ever seen. Everything was comfortable and spacious. We walked to the sister hotel which was 5 mins away, we didn’t use the pool or the facilities there but it looked fantastic right on a cliff and is a great inclusion. Thank you to the team and Cilla Cascais, we’d love to return!
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Cons: No iron in the room , used their ironing cost a small fortune
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a perfect location in Cascais surrounded by restaurants and bars with lovely views over the harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It is expensive to stay and probably not up to 5 stars. Tea and Coffee facilities are not in your room they are in the hallway - Tea bags only. Taxis booked via reception are by private limo and very expensive.
6.7 Good
Pros: Quaint, clean/elegant and great location
7.0 Good
Pros: We thought we had booked the Hotel Albatroz so the Villa and its location was a big disappointment. However the staff made us most welcome. The bed was most uncomfortable and the room not quite what we expected. However we did enjoy our stay.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing special, maybe the location and the breakfast. People in receptio were nice.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Central location by the seaside.Villa Albatroz is the sister hotel of Hotel Albatroz and therefor allows access to the pool of Hotel Albatroz where one can relax when the beaches are too crowded and/or too hot. There one can have lunch as well, with a fantastic view to the sea and beaches.
Cons: Villa Albatroz is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but I expect a few of those stars are "inherited" from Hotel Alabtroz. It has a good location but unless you get a discount it's not good value for money. Our room was a Standard Double with Sea View, but you had to stretch your neck to see the sea. Most rooms do not have a balcony. Breakfast was a bit dull as well.
6.0 Good
Pros: Service was very good. Location was excellent.
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: High degree of servises.
Cons: No.
5.6 Okay
Pros: Good staff and location
Cons: Standard of decoration was fair, given the 5 star rating this was poor.
5.2 Okay
Pros: The view and the quality of food
Cons: The noise outside and the lack of modern facilities
7.2 Good
Pros: the ^restaurant was very good - they have an excellent chef who creates innovative cuisie with local ingredients The wines offered were excellent. The staff were friendly and helful and I felt like I was known there rather than room number one - take the room 1 as it has a small balcony and you can hear the waves from the beach - it was very comfortable.
Cons:

5.8 Okay
Pros: It is fancy but not really up to the 5 star standard, I suspect it is due to the historical place otherwise it would be 4
Cons: The staff is general is great but I have to give a bad review. We stayed there for a night and also enjoyed the restaurant. I give a bad review for the staff because when we arrived we had a platter of cheese. As my girlfriend is pregnant we asked if all the cheese were pasteurized and she assured us that it was. Thing is we discovered at the airport that this type of cheese is never pasteurized (even the one you buy at duty-free). NEVER LIE TO A CUSTOMER especially a pregnant one especially at a five star hotel. Basically the old woman at the snack bar risked the life of my unborn child for no reason.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well maintained, great staff and nice rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service and ambiance. Views from the common areas were stunning.
Cons: Our first floor room just had a tiny window.
7.0 Good
Pros: The tasting menu in the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: I had a room at the ground floor that was incredibly noisy. The cooling system from the kitchen was positioned just below my window.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Captivating location w historical interest. Dinner was like artwork. Amazing evening. Loved the welcome fruit basket
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Was our anniversary and staying in the hotel. The staff left us a very kind surprise in the room. The location is unbeatable and I would stay here very time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located on a cliff and overlook two beautiful beaches. It was a great feeling when you arrived and walked through the main gate. This place definitely worth a stay.
Cons: I guess the rooms are kind of small and not as comfortable as we have expected. I also think the ocean water was too cold to swim without an wet suit.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, service and facilities. This was a special treat and did not disappoint
Cons: It’s 7km from town but that is a plus point

Cons: Everything was perfect!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a beautiful property with excellent amenities. The breakfast was way better than I expected. Walking distance to Cascais shopping and local tourist attractions. Fantastic hidden gem!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was extraordinary. The pools were lovely. The staff at the kids club could not possibly been better. My kids genuinely raced each other to arrive their each day, and had no hesitation staying there without us. This is absolutely the perfect vacation for a family with young kids.
Cons: We didn't love the dinner at the restaurants but this is possibly because we are vegetarian and had fewer options. The children did love the pizza.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property is really made for kids! The staff is super prepared to deal with the parents and the kids and the premise is amazing! Truly recommend to any family, spcially smaller kids.
Cons: Really nothing. If to say something, only as a recommendation, the floor of the bathrooms in the suites are quite slippery, not only for the kids but also for adults. And, maybe the restaurant could have better options with a more reasonable prices.
7.0 Good
Pros: Rooms were spacious and an easy 30 minute drive from Lisbon
Cons: Some of the furniture in the room showed clear signs of wear and tear. Also, for a family friendly resort, not opening the main pool area before 11am is somewhat bizarre
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very much liked the What’s App concierge, just text for everything, no need to call reception. Kids loved the playground. Kids Club also very nice. Villa is great.
Cons: nothing
9.3 Excellent
Cons: A little too pricey
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great for kids and main restaurant is very good. Staff really tried.
Cons: We were unlucky and had an ant infestation in the kitchen but staff changed our location after complaint. The bar restaurant service was slow.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was a nice and comfortable place for staying
Cons: There is the SPA area was so noisy. It was only one quiet place in the hotel where guests who are traveling without children have a rest. The hotel have a lot facilities for families with children. I’m traveling with my 17-year old child and we didn’t find place for relax.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing!! The kids club check in process, transfers, and children's amenities were excellent. I'm 8 months pregnant with a 5 and 2 year old, and my husband and I wanted to relax a bit before the new baby, the hotel and experience was perfect for that!
Cons: Breakfast was very good! However, I think the food for dinner could have been better. We ate all our meals for 4 nights at the hotel and I would only say a hand full of items were great. One night there was an Italian buffet which was the only option, and ALL the food was cold.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super Family friendly, lots to do for kids, great breakfast
Cons: Restaurants average and overpriced
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The playground was exceptional. Staff friendly. Hotel well kept.
Cons: Service was slow at times. Some confusion one night Re bill .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was exactly as in the pictures; we got what we expected. Room facilities were good, spa, pools, playgrounds, activities for the kids all excellent. There was never a sense of crowdiness anywhere, no fighting for sunchairs or having to queue up for the swings or pool table. Breakfast was absolutely superb every morning and was made even more special by the very friendly staff (thank you Nuno Mota). If possible have a massage in the spa, you will not regret it! Hotel staff were very quick to react if there was anything to be improved (thank you Monica). Location was perfect for walking, jogging, golfing, biking.. with some really lovely sightseeing within a few kilometers.
Cons: The hotel is clearly popular along families with small children. It is equipped so that there is not much need to leave the premises. However, if you'd prefer to try out different restaurants and go shopping and sightseeing the hotel is not a walking distance away from those places. Consider having a rental car, although hotel provides a very cheap shuttle service to Cascais a few times a day. Some of the prices for food and drink were too high in the hotel restaurants.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable, lovely shower. Excellent location close to all the good things Cascais has to offer. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Not much to dislike really. If anything maybe a small fridge in the rooms .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about our stay at Vasco da Gama pretty much from the moment we set foot through their front door! Vasco da Gama's greatest asset is probably its extremely attentive, knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely friendly staff - they were the icing on the cake that elevated an extremely good stay to an exceptional experience. From the guided tour when we checked in to the spot-on local restaurant recommendations and chatting to the friendly bar staff, they really gave wonderful service all round. Aside from that the villa is a lovely old historical building which is elegantly and tastefully decorated in a modern style that's nevertheless respectful of the surroundings, and despite being a small hotel felt very spacious thanks to the shared lounge and bar areas and the well-kept garden with the cute little pool that gets lots of sun. They had everything you need, needless to say everything was spotless, and the breakfast was handsome too. I can't think of any way to fault this place and I would love to stay there again if I have the chance!
Cons: I can't really think of anything bad to say about Vasco da Gama - maybe the pool is quite small if there are several people using it? And I can't remember if there was a kettle for tea in the guest room or not (which is of course essential if you are British!) But that's about it - in every other way it is a perfect little hotel, expertly run with excellent and well-trained staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel was great,, Situated in a nice walking distance from main town,,,
Cons: Cant write anything here about not liking,, sorry
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location just a short walk to town centre and marina, very helpful staff, cool historic villa, and very nice breakfast. We liked having bikes available for exploring the area, and a pool to cool off in after a busy day - definitely a bonus! Staff available to assist 24hr including the bar which was nice. Also, we loved the towel warmer in the bathroom. Good size room and comfortable large bed. Safety deposit box available in the room.
Cons: It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room and a shelf to put shampoo/soap etc on in the shower instead of having to bend down to the floor to get it (as there's nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In the historic district and very quiet.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a return trip and we will be back again. Very helpful, friendly staff and a clean hotel, with a bar and a nice breakfast. Great location just a couple of minutes walk in to Cascais. Small, clean pool with a few loungers/deckchairs and seating in the garden.

Pros: Breakfast was really good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We rented a private room and we had so much space. It was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the big beautiful house and garden were a pleasure to enjoy. The staff was very accommodating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good space, nice pool, nice garden with room for beach tennis, badminton etc.
Cons: There could be some noise (from party-people) at night time (we traveled with 3 kids, so no late nights preferred for us).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcoming place with a lovely garden and pool.
Cons: More mirrors required in the rooms please!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The pool was great and even had floats, which is great especially for children. I requested vegan breakfast options and they had many, so thank you for that important detail :) The hostel is less than 10min walk from the beach and Cascais 'downtown', which was a very good location from my point of view.
Cons: We asked for some fresh drink/cocktail, like Caipirinha (because there were limes, sugar, etc) at the bar but there were only pre-made drinks as options, like bottled juices, beer and water. None of the employees present at the time knew how to make a different fresh drink, so there could have been made better use of the bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The initial welcome by a young lady called Maria was exceptional. She is a wonderful asset to the whole happy helpful team. First impressions make a big difference and this hostel is excellent. The breakfast and facilities are boutique hotel standard.
Cons: I could not find fault with this facility.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Sociable, clean, friendly staff, good kitchen facilities and great pool/garden area!
Cons: The beds were pretty old and creaky, especially the top bunk...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly people.
Cons: Bathroom needs improvement
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hostel is Central near the Cascais Train Station. Around , you have all what you Need. The Hostel House is very clean! It is really beautiful their and it has a nice Atmosphäre. The Breakfast is amazing. They also have pasteis de nata
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good continental breakfast. We were hesitant to stay in a hostel, but the private bathroom was excellent and the communal facilities were only a bonus to a regular hotel room. Would stay again. There was private parking too.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Breakfast was perfect. Everything you would like to have. This was truly one of the best properties I have been ever for little money.
Cons: There are no dislikes.

Pros: Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Lovely friendly staff - nothing was too much for them. We had to leave really early in the morning and they got up early to put breakfast out. Room and the facilities were excellent. The garden and pool were a joy. It was a bit of a hike to the main town but that suited us well as it was calm and peaceful. We will definitely be back.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great place, room was lovely and super friendly host.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good, just a brief walk in the fresh air to restaurants, cafes; there is also a market close by about a 10 min walk. The bus stop is close by 6 min walk to the stop and bus will bring you right in town and train station. Or walk the cliff road down to the beaches and town center. Bike rentals are close by and a coffee shop is a 3 min walk away. The location of the house is very quiet and relaxing while you sit by the pool or inside the large living room or front yard. The only sounds you hear are birds and the sea breeze and the ocean if your window is open and the distant sounds of the sea washing against the cliffs. The house is very bright with large windows and room is very comfortable and quiet. The pool is beautiful and clean, plenty of space to relax, swim or sun in the afternoon sun. Breakfast is really good too, plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, meats and cheeses! The staff is really friendly and extremely helpful, they really make you feel welcomed and at ease on your stay. They can call airport transports, suggest places and events to attend and also give insights to the area and for really whatever your interests are and needs. The staff is fabulous! It’s also a great place to get out and walk or rent a bike! The area has some unique flowers and large palm trees as well interesting local architecture, you can see so much more by walking or biking in and around the area. There are plenty of places to stop and take a break, shop, visit a museum or outdoor sculpture, beaches and the marina. Just go and enjoy !
Cons: I cannot think of one thing that I did not like about my stay only that I wish it was longer. Cascais is a beautiful and relaxing area to visit and enjoy ! One never tires of the sun and sea and the cliffs and the sunsets.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location location to relax from city visits. Nice pool. Environment quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful, very clean house in great location. That's my 10 stars place :)
Cons: Everything was just perfect
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cozy place, very comfortable, amazing staff. The breakfast is humble but delicious and the pool area is an invitation to stay there and enjoy it! Highly recommended!
Cons: It’s a little bit far from the train station and the beaches, which made me ask for Ubers (it worked amazingly!) and spend more than I had expected. Apart from that, there is only one bathroom in the house :/
9.5 Excellent
Pros: All the rest, amazing.....including breakfast, was 5 stars.
Cons: Bath towels.....very hard and small
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent... tasty, nutritious and staff were quick to attend to our needs if required. Use of a full kitchen is ideal for guests especially as there is a Lidl store a short distance away. Location was good... quiet area within 25 mins walk of town and 10 mins from bus stop. A reasonably priced taxi can be organised by Jose for collection from and return to airport .
Cons: Cant complain about anything.

6.8 Good
Pros: location breakfast
Cons: bedroom
9.3 Excellent
Pros: the Albatroz is the best location in Cascais overlooking both the beach and the boat harbour with great views from all public areas, and at the same time footsteps from the main street. Wonderfully decorated. Great bar, good food and sunny pool area. A seriously luxury hotel with a homely feel. Highly recommend
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to major beaches.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The staff had a smile on their faces all the time and were always accommodating. The entire experience was memorable. We will return again.
Cons: The pool temperature was too cold and needed to be heated.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The service in general was excellent. Some of the breakfast/lunch waiting staff could have been more friendly and efficient. The Restaurant Manager Joao, appeared on our last day and the difference was quite noticable. The young lady serving drinks by the pool was excellent - a real tribute to the hotel. Our room 406 was delightful, beautifully decorated and spacious in the palace block behind the hotel.
Cons: See above re: waiting staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was exceptional, yet friendly and relaxed. The location is perfect with sea views to die for and the station just a few minutes walk away so it is absolutely possible to travel via metro and train from the airport. Breakfast quality and variety superb!
Cons: No complaints
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location cannot be beat, hotel complied with all my requests regarding room even though made months in advance, view was incredible and very good food, including the buffet breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location, great breakfast and we loved our room. We didn’t want to leave this picturesque hotel, so we will have to come back often
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
7.0 Good
Pros: The view
Cons: Noise from the beach all night every night and during the day. Loud music on beach just below pool. No access to beach directly from hotel. Hotel entrance is a small car park.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic. The service is very good. The breakfast and the view is very special. The stay is for the «memory book».
Cons: Nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located in Cascais with immediate beach access. Train station (for connecting to central Lisbon) 1 minute walk away and local shopping & restaurant area adjacent to hotel. Sufficiently small (60 rooms) to treat its guests as individuals and sufficiently large to provide the services a 5*-hotel should.. The staff is very friendly and guest-focused and combine professional and personal warmth. Will happily return not only as a business-visitor but also for private visits.
Cons:
4.7 Okay
Pros: The view from the hotel terraces is superior.
Cons: We have received a room that had a superior view over a city but was located next to huge airconditioning units for the hotel and whole shopping mall located on floors below the hotel (literally 10 meters on the same level/ level below). Therefore romantic nights on the tarace where not with city background noise but with quite dominant "pumping" noise of the airconditioning station units. We don't smoke and the fact that next to our terrace was a terrace used by staff to have a cigarette breaks was also a minus. Service was not at the level you expect from the boutique hotel e.g. we were not informed about dinner arrangements.
7.3 Good
Pros: Wonderful ambience and unobrtrusive service.
Cons: No
7.7 Good
Pros: Spectacular hotel, very special with uninterrupted views, felt very spoilt for the few days we were there.Food was excellent and not overpriced for such quality, service and most importantly view...
Cons: Pool small and railing around edge of cliff face should have vertical rails not horizontal rails.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb ,with amazing views and only a few seconds stroll to shops and restaurants. train staion very handy for going into lisbon. the staff very helpful and courteous. we will return.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great--just a few minutes walk from train station and right on the ocean. There was a beautiful stoned path to walk along the ocean for 30 minutes.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and quality of this hotel are outstanding. It is an expensive hotel but you get good value for money.
Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: In nice part of town, friendly atmosphere
Cons: not tempted by the menu in the restaurant, a bit too fancy and service took quite a long time for lunch.
7.2 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: No

Overview Reviews
In a spectacular location, you will feel the hotel's beauty and tranquillity in any one of the 101 bedrooms, which all have a balcony and stunning views over the sea, the same sea that has inspired the interior design. For your getaway to paradise, Eurostars Cascais 4 * offers you: bright, spacious rooms with views outside; a café-restaurant where guests can enjoy the tastiest culinary options; fully-equipped meeting rooms with the latest technology; and a landscaped pool area where guests can soak up the sun and fantastic weather along the Portuguese Riviera.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was fime with a good sea view. The reception was very helpful
Cons: The dining facilities in the evening wore loss than adequate. It was a very limited menu and even some of the meals advertised were not available, same with the wime list. For a 4* hotel it was not acceptable Our room was not made up until after 3,30 p.m. so we couldn't go back to use it. It felt like the whole place was run on a shoe string with a very limited staff. I would not recommend it to a friend or family Breakfast was very acceptable
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good service at the reception
Cons: Room was a little small
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, with beautiful views and great swim-pool area
Cons: Of everything there is to little, not enough sunbeds, tables for breakfast and staff to serve you during the day. The staff is very friendly but they can't cover the number of guests, which results in waiting time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel provides an outstanding breakfast!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good but service was a little bit confused
Cons: Hotel deserves a much better fitness facility. There’s no weightlifting room. It’s a shame for a hotel like that.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Modern. Decent location (if you don’t mind a walk). Nice breakfast (breakfast staff were very nice).
Cons: It’s not a 4*. Don’t wast your money. - Insisted I’m taking payment on check in, highly unusual and now I know why - No pool bar (closed every day), or music, or atmosphere at the pool - Lunch and Dinner menu poor and over priced - Reception staff rude. Had little to no local knowledge - Evening bar staff rude clearly didn’t want to be there and requests for a drink was an intrusion for them - Room not serviced until after 5pm any day - Room looked clean initially, however it wasn’t fully clean, bathroom floor was filthy - Did not resolve a small issue with our room (broken bed) - There is no gym, unless you class a treadmill and a bike as a gym If you are on holiday DO NOT stay here - it is more of a business hotel. It is not good value for money and frankly was the low point of our trip to Portugal. I am not fussy - see my other reviews, always seek positives! Worst hotel (for the price) I have ever stayed in. Avoid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: IT did what it said it would and more. It does not say it is a luxury hotel, but it is extremely comfortable, clean and modern. The staff are exceptional and very rare in this day and age. Their customer service levels and friendly warm approach are off the very highest order. A young lady named Marta went out of her way daily to guide and advise us on where to go, eat and on how to get there and always - I mean always - with a huge smile on her face. Her colleagues, when needed, were equally helpful and friendly. Young people with good old fashioned values. I have traveled the world for both business and pleasure but have never bettered the service delivered during out stay by this hotel and its team. A huge thank you and well done to you all.
Cons: I likes everything accepting the type of accommodation it is.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern hotel. Lovely views from sea view rooms.
Cons: The pool bar - which features in the hotel photos - never opened
7.5 Good
Cons: I dont know if Eurostars is a holiday destination hotel or a conference or business hotel..hotel bar could do better ..limited menu andvery expensive..pool barand a littel more atmosphere with music and a pool bar lunch menu might be a good idea...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice hotel. I would say more 3 stars than 4 however our stay was 10/10. Stuff really nice and always helpful. Rooms cleaned everyday. Also great breakfasts with varieties of cakes, cheeses, cold meets, fruits, cereals, etc. The view from the balcony simply outstanding.
Cons: The smell in the room. It’s a bit far away from the city center of Cascais (20 mins walk) however it was more advantage than disadvantage for us.

Pros: Staying at the Salty Pelican is a great experience. I didn't pre-book any packages but booked a yoga session on site. Luckily I was able to join the sunrise yoga at the pier, which is one of the best things I ever did. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hostel is a nice gem! They organize morning yoga by the beach every morning (+afternoon yoga, surfing lessons, BBQ and other activities, that we unfortunately did not have time to attend) - and it was a wonderful way to start the day! Rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the breakfast is a nice plus. We had a private room with a shared bathroom. I usually do not choose shared bathroom option, but in this hostel I did not mind at all: the bathrooms are huuuge and super clean. And no waiting in the line, even with a full house of guests :) The location is perfect; it is in a somewhat quiet, but very beautiful neighborhood, but still in a walking distance from the center.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Diverse activities, Nice and helpful staff. Should have definitely stayed for a longer period to fully appreciate this special place!
Cons: Yoga lesson price was'nt stated upon registration. Notice: it is probably better to order a 'package' deal than seperate room and extras booking.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Extra long bed
Cons: Overpriced considering there is a communal bathroom and we were positioned on a floor with an adjoining dormitory room The hotel is more suitable as a hostel than a hotel Breakfast was very poor, no mugs, no juice, no water, just fruits and seeds Would not recommend for the price, might as well stay in a hostel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Lovely house
Cons: All fantastic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of the staff. The feeling of not being alone. It was my second visit. I am planning on coming back next year with a friend. I prefer coming here than a five star hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house with original portugese tiles. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Breakfast just ok. Our bed was really big and comfortable. Free parking outside the villa.
7.5 Good
Pros: Relaxed and friendly property with helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and BBQ’s
Cons: This is a yoga and surfing retreat, although I booked as a hostel stay through booking.com and couldn’t do the yoga or surfing due to injuries and it left me a little out of the loop with everyone else.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great atmosphere, location very convenient, offered lots of different activities such as paddle boarding, yoga, surfing,, group meals....
Cons: We were in their 2nd house up the street from the main one and very cute, comfy .... the only negative to this property is our room was warm and the air did not work well. Everything else was amazing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic villa Bicuda, thanks again for our lovely holidays. We have been visiting vila Bicuda for last 12-14 years and always received perfect service. Staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful, location is great and extremely convenient (swimming pool, nice cafe, play area for kids). All is perfectly maintained, Vilas are clean and convenient, everyone is friendly. Again perfect experience and can't wait for next year ;-).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and access to pool :) The staff very warm and welcoming! A special thank to the cleaning team and security team ;)
Cons: We could hear too much the neighbors and the floors are really cracking especially the steps.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Always helpful
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Overall comfortable villa’s & very nice swimming pools. Good bakery on the complex. Good location; perfect for visiting Cascais & Lisbon.
Cons: Villa’s are slightly dated and we needed to ask for the shower heads & light bulbs to be replaced on arrival. This explains my lower value for money score. For this money you would expect pool towels to be included.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great vila but we didn’t utilize all facilities to really rate all of their facilities. I can say Positives: - kitchen, bathroom and room were big and useful utensils and espresso machine - kind staff at office and bakery/ although don’t use restaurant recommendations of Furnas do Guincho- worst lunch and so expensive for terrible “food” - parking easy - having a supermarket, and a sandwich/ bakery restaurant made life much easier since nothing is close by or within walking distance - rooms were big with nice balcony and comfy bed -flat tv with great and varied channels for many languages.
Cons: Disappointing: - first 2 espresso pods are free, anymore are .45€ each and they are the gestapo about giving you more than 1 sugar packet per pod. - the rooms are very noisy. The floors are old and beautiful but they creek loudly. We heard the neighbors slamming cabinets and playing with their kid u til 2 am. I called front desk and finally had to knock on door to let them know we could hear them. - ants. Every where. We appreciate that it’s nature and it’s going to happen especially since this is an older place, but the 1st morning I woke up to my entire suitcase full of clothes swarming in ants. They aren’t sealing the floorboards- so the ants come from the corner of the base boards and floors- not necessarily from the balcony. They were kind and very helpful about it- but I’d prefer no chemicals. I emptied and swept and cleaned and so did they, but for future prevention I believe sealing rather than chemicals would help them & the families staying there. - you should be a dog lover to stay here. Lots of them. Everywhere. Disappointing for those of us who prefer holidays without other people’s barking dogs - nice grounds but mostly unattended. Most all flowers and shrubs outside balcony and rooms are dead and just weeds. - probably the most disappointing was that we had to pay to use towels for the pool or beach. And they are around 2€ each and are charged if you change. We thought this should be included

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pool area
Cons: Balcony was not sea view as the balcony wall was too high and so could only see the sea if standing. Staff said that if we had booked directly as opposed to through booking.com we would have got superior room. Albeit we were there for 7 nights, they would not move us or even show us a superior room!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The terrace . The room
Cons: I was directly over the reception where people arrived and left all night and early morning . I paid a lot of money to stay in a beautiful room that was a waste . I got no sleep I was also beside the lift. I ordered roomservice fish , very mediocre . Went to the town two evenings following and had far superior Meals. The towels at the pool were thread bearing they were so old . There were not enough sun loungers and if you managed to get one you were on top of the next person.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cascais is a great location, hotel in walking distance of city center. Great staff, good food, great swimming pool. Extremely relaxing!
Cons: Order taking and follow up could be better
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, very elegant. Pool area was lovely. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast buffet and waiter service around the pool was attentive.
Cons: Gym is reasonable but a bit limited equipment wise. Indoor pool in the hotel photos is actually part of the spa and charge of €20 per person to use for an hour. So outdoor pool is only real option. The hotel is quiet and peaceful but flip side of that is no entertainment and evenings there are a bit sedate. We went into the town for dinner each night as it offered more variety.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff are amazing; they go above & beyond to make you feel comfortable, always. The location is also the best in Cascais. Everything is just 2 mins away.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Dans cette l’hôtel
Cons: in this hotel all my jewelery was stolen for a total cost of € 15,000 its van cleef. the hotel manager said sorry and did nothing as nothing happened! They probably think it is very good when 5 people have access to the room! I am very disappointed in this hotel!
9.1 Excellent
Cons: Ask the price of drinks before you order - can get a little expensive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great customer service and lovely view! Will stay here again :)
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff & Service
Cons: Air Conditioning is pathetic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is an amazing hotel in an amazing location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The pool area is lovely with saltwater pool and massages available poolside.
Cons: I’d like to see more variety of simple dishes available for guests. I found the all-day dining menu a bit fussy and not very easy to choose from.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Everything was good
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: I would like to complain that I had to email twice and make a long-distance phone call (from another country, at my own expense) to request a refund that should have processed immediately by hotel staff when I checked out. In addition, when I made the long distance call to remedy this mistake, I was placed on hold for a few minutes without being informed first. This is just poor customer service.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Pros: Great design and architecture
Cons: Na
9.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent
Cons: only criticisms are :- did not quite think it was "5" star, and thought that to charge for coffee in the room was petty. We paid for half board and ate a couple of nights in the Hotels own restaurant, the food was excellent but averaged 1 hour per course, far too slow. The other nights we ate across the yard in the sister restaurant and the same comments apply, you could be sat down 20 mins before you were offered or got a drink
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Superior double room with Seaview is it was excellent
Cons: Main lobby bar lacked atmosphere
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff exceeded expectations, highly professional, very polite and very helpful.
Cons: Wish they had a larger pool or an outdoor pool, wish they were more child-friendly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent and the design of the hotel was very clean and modern. Liked the turndown service 2 pools was a real bonus. we had lunch in the restaurant in the courtyard which was fantastic
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in the room, and also no iron, they offer a pressing service but that was expensive 15 Euro for one dress At breakfast the food was uncovered and there were flies on all the pastries - they should cover them! Room was not ready when we arrived at 2.55pm (check in from 3pm!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to the centre of Cascais. Wonderful rooms in this old fort.
6.8 Good
Pros: Centrally located within walking distance to main shops and restaurants. Front desk staff friendly and helpful
Cons: No direct parking access or valet. Crowded breakfast area and plain breakfast offering

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small luxury hotel - very nice staff - great setting/view - excellent location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting and great location.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was the best that the hotel offered. From the crunchy bacon to the honey and the nespresso coffe. Having breakfast with that view was great.
Cons: Reception table too high, receptionists shouldn't take our identification or credit cards from our sight, even less to copy them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the hotel
Cons: I have 2 issues, although I believe we were in one of the more inexpensive rooms there is no where to sit and do your hair /makeup, i would have liked more salads on the menu but the food was fabulous
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, walkable to the downtown, but far enough away for quiet, water, coastal views.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Ocean facing balcony is nice
Cons: 1) they put us in the room that is far from the image as what we saw on booking.com. It said Ocean View but barely had any, the entrance was right behind the adjacent restaurant kitchen and the automatic blind in the bathroom did not work. after we complained they shifted us to the room with the right one that matched our booking, but they didn't apologize at all. 2) the food was not good at the bar, the shrimps were not fresh 3) we asked the door person to pick up our luggages upon checkout, but they sent someone who was not physically adept, so we ended up carrying our stuff by ourselves. This is not acceptable for a five star hotel in my view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. They exceeded our expectations and was always there to do the little extra, such as serving cold fruit shots at the pool or helping with printing of boarding passes or sending an iPhone charge we forgot to our home address. Just perfect excellent service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spent 7 days at Farol. Very relaxing and fantastic location. Special shout out to Monica on reception. Super efficient and could not do enough regarding reserving restaurants etc. Rooms and views were fantastic.
Cons: Service at breakfast was very stsnd offish and the staff were not forthcoming with breakfast options. You guys are bit stingy with the pool towels. Really should be 2x Per Person
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service and staff just as you would expect for a hotel of this rating.
Cons: Hot breakfast selection was very limited. Who cooks poached eggs and puts them in a warmer? There is a charge 1.0Euro per cup of coffee in your room, very cheeky! The hotel management should think again, particularly when I was told this is a regular guest complaint. So they do know about it. And the real killer when I asked for an additional tea bag for my afternoon tea I was initially charged 4.80Euro!! After some discussion this was removed from my bill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting of the hotel is breath-taking, only to be matched by the incredible service. A true gem!

6.2 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly. Location good
Cons: Room was stuffy and not well aired out. Non smoking rooms had been smoked in. Room was a bit dark and dingey with some broken items such as the bathroom door that wouldnt close. However location was good and staff were friendly. The pool is nice but would benefit from a non smoking area
5.5 Okay
Pros: Hotel was in a great location. Breakfast was really well run and staff were very helpful.
Cons: Reception staff were not overly friendly or accommodating, very little entertainment in the evening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our family had our fourth summer holiday there this year. It was simply outstanding. The staff were excellent especially Michael on reception who went out of his way to help us. Well Done Vila Gale.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is great. The size of the rooms are very good.
Cons: The beds and pillows are horrible. The mattress is very hard and the pillows are old foam. The hotel is kept to a minimum of service. The employees are very attentive and nice but very rare to find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellently. Rooms were perfect. Breakfast was substantial. Staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing week overall.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and family friendly hotel.
Cons: The lighting in the restaurant is too dark; especially at breakfast. It would be nice to have more comfortable seating outside, near bar. The décor in the suite/family room was old-fashioned, it needs updating - and better lighting. It was too dark in the room. All was very clean and comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good only gripe was on a couple of occasions all the plates were wet the dishwasher obviously needed fixing
Cons: Could do with some lighting in the wardrobe and a gym would be a good addition.
6.8 Good
Pros: Pleasant and helpful restaurant staff and also in the bar. Position of hotel very good, beautifully kept gardens, pool area, and play area. The pool snack bar was very reasonably priced if you didn’t want to venture out for a light lunch.
Cons: When we booked it said it had a kids club ( even adverts on kids pillows in bedroom ) but reception denied they ever had one. Housekeeping not consistent for a 4 star hotel, also conditions of some of the rooms we had booked, especially the junior suite, which said in the write up overlooking gardens ( which they had very pretty gardens, very well kept) when we asked reception they said that it was, well if looking at parked cars and the wall and tree line of the park is considered the garden, you need a good imagination. Also in need of a refurb.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The pool and grounds were excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly. But overall great location, pool and A/C a great place to explore Caiscas.
Cons: The rooms suited our needs but were a little dated. Hallways a little dark. Carpets could be replaced. It seemed like they were renovated some rooms though. Matresses a little firm for my liking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Nice room with excellent view. Decent breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is gorgeous, really well kept and spotless clean. The location is excellent. The 2 bar men there most nights are super friendly and genuinely nice.
Cons: Some of the staff could have been friendlier. Also we had a family room but there was very little wardrobe space for 4 people.
