9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous hotel in a wonderful location! Spa was great and the room was very modern and comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Wellness center in the hotel was empty when me and my partner went there so we could benefit of having the S.P.A. all for ourselves. The room we stayed in was very large and comfortable and we had a wonderful view of the valley and village.
Cons: Despite being a welcoming and clean hotel the price was quite high. The hotel's parking was constantly full and we had to park on the side of the road both on our arrival and on every movement during our stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: In a pretty little village with lovely scenery, close enough to Roccaraso.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice work and quality of refurbishment, furniture in good condition
Cons: We arrived for one week with my family, and we have been presented a super tiny room for 1 or 2 persons, but with 3 beds, not leaving any room to move around. I complained and said that it doesn’t look like what we reserved (there was a picture on Booking), and the answer was that all 3 people rooms were the same. I double checked, showed them the screen shots on my computer, and they proposed us a bigger room (still not as big as the one on the picture), saying that the one on the picture is for 4 people (the biggest room on Booking is for 3 people, there is no room for 4 people !)... Also, we were expecting a 4 stars service as we paid almost 300€ per day. Nevertheless, there is very little service in the hotel. Breakfast is ok, not fantastic, but ok. It is not possible to use the SPA before 17:00, and even then, you can only book it for 90 minutes if there is space (it is very small but good condition). We asked to go earlier with our child, they answered that it was not possible before 17:00, even if it is written in the rules that it should be possible... There is no restaurant in the hotel (there is one, but only for the Owners if they feel hungry). If you come back with food, you’ll be asked to eat it in your room where there is no table and only one chair... We bought some pizza one day that we wanted to eat at the hotel as our child was not feeling well and we didn’t want to spoil the evening of other guests in a restaurant. We have been asked to eat them in our room as the owner doesn’t tolerate that the common area is used to eat, even if we bought beers from the hotel bar. My 1 year old child and I got sick one night, but there was no one in the reception for help (we needed towels and something to clean). The waiter (super nice person and very helpful) who was going home brought me something and told me that everyone was gone for the night. The price we paid was for a 4/5 stars hotel, but the service is related to a 2/low 3 stars one.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is brand new and the room was very comfy.
Cons: The Roccaraso slopes are about 20-25 minutes drive which is a bit far away if you are travelling for skiing. The SPA is small and quite crowded (there are only three jacuzzi seats in the otherwise huge swimming pool and we had to wait for our turn!). The SPA only works during set hours and you have to book (which doesn't help the crowding anyway)
Hotel Pizzalto - Roccaraso - Building
8.7 Excellent (157 reviews)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was good. Staff was very kind and professional. Actually there was nothing that bothered us.
Cons: /
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is very good! The hotel itself is pretty dated. the beds were not comfortable, but the location outweighs that in my opinion. the staff was amazing. The dinner was pricey and ended up being different than what was orignially advertised.
Cons: The bed was not comfortable at all. The kids club I am sure is very fun for those kids that can stay up until midnight, but my three kids (5, 6 and 7) cannot stay up that late. The music was SOO loud, but i guess that is a cultural thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The design, the layout , the facilities but most of all the amazing food.
Cons: I liked everything , but it is aimed at children and families so be prepared if you are after somewhere quiet after a hard day skiing .
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location for skiing. It isn't advertised well enough, but you can turn up with nothing and buy a ski pass and ski hire on site. The hotel even gives 20% discount on ski hire in the shop downstairs. Restaurant was excellent value and great staff,
Cons: Hotel front of house staff were poor, failed to deal with my noise complaint (their own disco) which continued into the hotels "quiet times"... We were furious about this yet received no apology, although they agreed to move us as far away as possible. Noise in general, in both our rooms you could hear your neighbours every move.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good restaurant ...don't expect gourmet .. but it served good quality and good value family-like meal.
Cons: Hotel is located at the foot of ski hill which was THE major reason for choosing it. The next reason was the availability of a spa (hot tub, turkish bath, sauna) , which was small but well set up .... but we expected it would have been included in the price of the room.. which was a bit high for what it was ... it would have been good value if the use of the spa was not an additional charge. If you expect to attract non-Italian clients, it would be good to have access to non-Italian television channels (news, films, etc) for when you can't go our and enjoy the skiing. Must absolutely rewire the rooms. Modern standards require plugs by the bedside to recharge phones. This was not available in our room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right on the slopes with easy access to the ski lifts and ski hire, ski schools & ski passes all available right on the doorstep. The staff were all amazing, so friendly & helpful they made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel is very clean and cosy & warm.
Cons: The drinks at the bar were just too expensive at 5 euro a 33cl bottle of beer & 2 Euro a small bottle of water. Would have used the bar more often if the prices had been reasonable. We had a car so were able to drive to Roccaraso and fill the boot with supplies. The hotel/guests can be noisy when trying to sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful desk staff. Restaurant service was excellent! Ski in, ski out location. Parking and breakfast included.
Cons: The door didn't keep out any sound from the hallway. The memoryfoam bed in our room might need to be replaced, it just compressed under me, so I ended up in a trough (I only weigh 52kg) . Pillow was pretty uncomfortable.

7.1 Good
Pros: Room was spacious, cleaned regularly and well. Breakfast was well catered. The staff organised a lift for me when there were no taxis available to go into town.
Cons: Most people at the hotel including my party were there for skiing at the local resort of Roccaroso. However, there was no allowance for this. Previously I had stayed there and like most ski hotels there was cake and refreshments laid on for returning skiers. This time the bar wasn't even open! Also food was not really very nice.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel for the price, very clean & warm. The beds are comfortable, good bathroom & facilities. Location was good with parking & plenty of restaurants close by (in car). The Spa (extra charge)was very nice, well equipped & very relaxing, just what was needed after long days out on the slopes.
Cons: The reception, lounge & bar areas - its nice to have a few drinks & relax after a day out but the area is vacant & soul less, not somewhere you'd want to linger so we had to go further a field. No full length mirror in rooms.
7.1 Good
Pros: Room was clean, food good overall although had to ask for vegetarian options two nights, waiting staff helpful, gym

6.8 Good
Pros: xhikdren's activities and friendly staff. facilities are very clean. the spa is beautiful.
Cons: the music was loud in our room 111 at night but stragnely not loud in the front desk area. it was difficult to sleep until after 2300
7.6 Good
Pros: We were able to find the hotel easily and the staff was very helpful. The building itself is beautiful, and our was room was very clean and comfortable. We also liked the menu at dinner, however, starting after 7.30 pm. is a bit too late for parents with children.
Cons: The animation starting at 21.30 was very loud, which made the baby wake up several times. However, after skiing all the day long, we fell asleep quickly...
7.2 Good
Pros: the price for the room was very reasonable, the hotel was easy to get to and clean...and not to far from the slopes
Cons: breakest was typical european, very marginal ...only one cafe machine for about a 50 or so people waiting in line

6.8 Good
Pros: helpfulness of staff
Cons: see comments Q1

Cons: It smells old, poor customer care, poor WiFi. Room furniture really old.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Although staff do not seem to know a word of English, always seemed enthusiastic.
Cons: Rooms are extremely outdated and falling to pieces. A general upkeep does not seem to apply to this establishment. This hotel seems to be one of the only few which was situated a 5 minutes drive from the center. The staff tried to charge me double the rate of a room identical to that of my friend.
