Pros: This is by far the most unique, beautiful place we have ever stayed at! It's so comfortably furnished in its interiors, while keeping its original charm. Great outdoor area as well, with a panoramic swimming pool, a romantic hammock hanging from two olive trees and a cozy patio where breakfast was served every morning. A dream!
Pros: Great Place with very kind hosts! Very individual and lovely Trulli house. Our kids loved the pool from which you have a nice view over The Valley. Nice old town of Cisternino close to have dinner. Thank you!
Pros: Very relaxing place with a great position
Pros: We loved everything about the property , it was immaculately clean, extremely confortable and excellent hosts , always helpful and obliging with everything we needed.
Cons: We liked everything.
Pros: Beautiful trullo! Very kind host family, perfect location to explore the region, nice restaurants nearby in the village and in Cisternino and a superb pool which kids enjoyed a lot! A great holiday overall! Thank you!
Pros: Friendly owners, good breakfast, fantastic coffee, nice atmosphere, well maintained, excellent pool, many thanks for the visiting advice!
Cons: Skylight at 5am
Pros: Breakfast great. Pool lovely. Very relaxing
Pros: Loved everything about our stay. The bed was the most comfortable we had stayed in during our 3 months in Europe. The aircon helped us have a really comfortable stay. The family and owners had limited English but were so kind, gave us tips and made amazing breakfast. The other guests were also very kind. It was such a beautiful property and unique experience to base ourselves to explore the region. i would recommend this to all my friends visiting Puglia region.
Masseria Spetterrata is surrounded by 40 hectares of centuries-old olive groves, halfway between the towns of Ostuni and Fasano. It offers a panoramic swimming pool and a restaurant serving organic food. Rooms here are all air conditioned. Wi-Fi connection is provided. Masseria Spetterrata boasts panoramic views across the countryside of Puglia. Here you can take cookery courses or go horse riding at the stables nearby. The restaurant serves local specialities and homemade pasta. You can even purchase organic olive oil that is produced on site. This agriturismo is a great base for exploring the Puglia region. It is 10 km from the sea and a 20-minute drive from both Fasano and Ostuni.
Pros: Lovely Masseria - near countryside and the sea. Short drive to many beautiful hill top towns. Very friendly welcome and helpful host. Delicious breakfast. Very good value. Excellent restaurants nearby.
Cons: Weather should have been better!
Pros: Stunning location amidst olive groves. Our host Pierreluigi was very hospitable. Coffee at breakfast was delicious. Restaurant further down the hill which opened occasionally and was good value. Good location for Ostuni, Cisternino and Alberobello and a few excellent restaurants within 5km.
Cons: Lovely pool but not heated so unfortunately didn’t use it as even in Mid September the weather was mixed. I found the mattresses uncomfortable and rooms were basic. Breakfast was limited. Only hot item was one egg boiled or fried. Would have been nice to have some local sausages which are delicious and maybe scrambled egg and fewer biscuits and cakes. One morning the bread was definitely not fresh that day. Be aware this farm is sited 2km up a rutted track.
Pros: Location was amazing. You can rest in front of Itria Valley and Adriatic Sea. You should not stay on Cisternino. This is a Masseria (Farm House) and you will sleep within the olive trees. This Masseria very close to Cisternino. Owner of the Masseria, Pierluigi was very friendly (like your brother). Breakfast from their farm was very rich and everything was organic.
Pros: Staff is very very nice and friendly ! Thanks to Angelo for his anti-mosquito raquet :)
Pros: Olive trees were lovely and the owner obviously loves the old olive trees and the property. Room and bathroom were large and well appointed. Everything was immaculately clean. Fresh towels were provided daily. Great breakfast offered with fresh ricotta, salumi, cheese, fruit, tomatoes with olive oil and capers, bread, home-baked sweets. Also, Cinzia (staff) and Pier Luigi (owner) provided recommendations for places to go and things to see. Cinzia was particularly accommodating and went out of her way to help out when I needed a document printed. The dinner at the restaurant was great but it was only offered one night when other guests were staying at the Masseria. Otherwise, options were limited and not on site so it required a drive.
Cons: Signage needs to be be improved. Restaurant is located in one building. Rooms are up the hill and around the corner in another building. Breakfast is yet in another building. A written list with recommendations of things to see, places to go and options for restaurants, trattorias, etc., would be a big help. Wifi was spotty and slow. This is an olive-oil producing farm and yet no olive oil was available for purchase -- a missed opportunity for the owners and for those of us staying at the Masseria as well!
Pros: We’ve enjoyed especially the hospitality of Pierre Luigi and his staff. The atmosphere was awesome, relaxed and met all our expectations. Great B&B, great location, great staff!
Pros: Everything is ok! Beautiful place!
Pros: We were received by Pierluigi who showed us the whole Masseria Spetterrata and gave us a warm welcome. It was wonderful to stay there, a calm and nice place. The Breakfast was absolutly delicious, made of italian dishes. The Personal of the Masseria was so friendly and always caring for the guests. The Dinner in the Restaurant is delicious, the Parmigiana was a Tipp of Pierluigi. The Rooms are clean and one of the best Beds I ever expirienced in a Hotel. You need a car for travelling the whole area, what is absolutly wonderful. Loved Monopoli with its tiny streets and Cafés.
Pros: Everything was perfect and exactly what we wanted and expected. There were no faults at all, the host and staff are super friendly and welcoming. They made sure you were well looked after and went above and beyond to help you us out and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The masseria is in a quiet location and very peaceful, also simple to reach as long as you have a car. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again if I visit Puglia again.
Pros: Gorgeous Masseria, clean, stunning pool and very helpful owner and staff.
With a stay at Riposo Del Vento in Cisternino, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of EuroSport Casalini 2001 and Mary Immaculate Ecclesiastical Parish. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The property is unique in its design and decor. The location if it's isolation you are after is perfect. The friendliness and helpfulness of Francesca and her staff member at breakfast were also a plus. We were given advice on local amenities and attractions in the region which are only reached by car. Tremendous shower!
Cons: There was no Wi-Fi at the property as advertised due to a recent storm although I seem to have read this in a previous review. Arrangements had been made with a local b and b but we stuck with data roaming when necessary. No tv channels which im sure would have only been local anyway. The pool was available pending on clearing of leaves but we didn't use it
Pros: Very romantic setting, spacious and wonderfully restored trullis, great private pool area, beautiful gardens, amazing staff who had some great suggestions, great breakfast, well equipped home. Thanks Francesca and the team! x
Pros: Warm welcome . Unique Trulli stay. Perfect little Kitchen and outside eating area
Pros: Lovely property with traditional style rooms. we were in the green room and had a nice outdoor sitting area. breakfast was great and the pool area was nice although the pool was very cold. very friendly and knowledgeable host, adorable dogs and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. local town has a lovely bbq restaurant, but not much else to offer therefore car definitely needed.
Pros: Loved staying in our Truli suite...felt transported back in time. Beautiful outdoor areas to relax. Breakfast was wonderful. Location was convenient.
Pros: We loved everything about staying here. The pool, grounds and accommodation were all beautiful. Breakfast under the olive trees with new friends was a particular delight.
Pros: The flat The decoration The neighborhood The breakfast Quiet
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Francesca is dynamite!! Authentic Trulli experience.
Cons: Very tight bathroom, but it’s expected in an authentic trulli!! Worth the experience!

Pros: The staff were exceptional and very accommodating of our needs and the pool area is beautiful and peaceful.
Cons: The AC did not work well. Beds were not comfortable.
Pros: Lovely setting - well designed - friendly staff
Cons: Food very average. Noisy party reception that we were not advised about on booking
Pros: A perfect location to explore Puglia, with excellent surroundings and a large swimming pool for those who want to take time off and simply relax
Cons: Everything was above expectation - nothing to complain about.
Pros: Fantastic setting in a renovated farmstead. Beautiful swimming pool. Not the height of luxury, but extremely comfortable in an understated way. Very good food. Pleasant staff who were there but not intrusive. Delightful experience which I would be very happy to repeat
Cons: The bed was slightly hard.
Pros: Breakfast - setting, selection and service Swimming pool - large and gorgeous surroundings.
Cons: Unimaginative, expensive dinner in soulless dining room.

Pros: Perfect appartment with lovely garden Friendly staff Good place for trips
Pros: Traditional apartment, very nice host who tried to help us with everything, parking just in front of the house, the swimming pool across the street. Trulli house feeling - great experience. Nice terrace with seating.
Cons: The equipment of the appartment could be better, also the rooms are very small - but then, it is how the traditional trulli houses are being built so you have the feeling of living in one.

Pros: Location was good. Breakfast good and staff was friendly.

Pros: The area is beautiful, very quiet The swimming pool was a bit cold, but nice
Cons: Air conditioning didn't work, although we asked…
