2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Noisy from thin walls and no insulation! Bath too small! WHY DO YOU SCRUTINISE A UK PASSPORT AS IF WE WERE AN ENEMY STATE!? The Spanish hoteliers are as welcoming as a 2 star hotel in Iran! It seems very clear that charm schools are not in the staff training. Ask any American hotelier to advise you about how to approach clients!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was absolutely fantastic , a great deal of choice.
Cons: The bed was not very comfortably
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing building. Great restaurant. Tesla charging. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely return but perhaps not stay in tower room again.
Cons: Couldn't control heating in tower room. Toilet facilities a bit tired.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proffessionalism of staff. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful setting.
Cons: Everything was very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good sized rooms with excellent en suite. Food good. Safe, secure underground parking. Due to bad weather we had a 6 hour delay in arriving at Bilbao which meant a late change in our overnight stay en route to the South. Booked in the Paradore in Lerma as we had used it before, did not arrive until 9 at night & left at 7 the next morning so cannot comment on any other aspects of the property. But as said, having used it before I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: As an overnight stay was pretty good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very good, little warm when the heating was turned on but easily rectified by turning one radiator off. Love the cafeteria with very good bar staff. Had a set menu in the evening and really enjoyed the food and wine. Happy and efficient reception. Will always use the hotel when travelling through.
Cons: Hate to say anything negative because we always enjoy our stay. There is just the slight possibility that the noise between rooms can be a bit disturbing but that is really being picky.

Pros: Very friendly and obliging staff particular with the Coronvirus restrictions Location just off motorway back to ferry port.
Cons: Restrictions due to Caronavirus.

C$ 77+

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A pretty hotel, nicely situated, lovely rustic decor which carried from the communal areas/reception to the guest rooms, very traditional, lots of lovely dark wood and old furniture. We had the option to upgrade our room for a small fee, which we did, and were very pleased, we had a big room with a nice sitting area and plenty of space for luggage. We took our evening meal in the hotel dining room which was nice, and really enjoyed the experience of eating our very good breakfast with the other guests in the bar area, a bit congested, but something different. A very pretty place to visit with lots of photo opportunities. Secure underground parking for our motorbike around the corner from the hotel in the annexe building.
Cons: A little bit tricky to find, up a small, narrow quiet steep cobbled side street with very restricted drop off area for arriving/departing guests, quite difficult to navigate when on a large heavy motorbike especially with numerous cars coming and going.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location. Clean room. Pleasant ambiance in communal areas. Good choice of breakfasts. Allotted secure car park space under hotel.
Cons: Ridiculous bathroom layout. The toilet was perpendicular to the sink and too close together. When using the toilet, you had to steer your knees under the sink which was then about 4 inches from your chest. The bolster style pillow was hard with barely any give which wasn’t to my personal comfort. The restaurant was brightly lit with no atmosphere a bit like a school classroom and our main courses where brought out while the wife was only halfway through her starter. Small portions though it was quite cheap. Expensive car parking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was typically Spanish, good coffee, toast, tomato, meats, etc. The evening meal was served in the bar although we could have eaten in the empty restaurant had we wished to be unsociable. The bar was busy and atmospheric, the room was clean and comfortable and, all told, good value for money.
Cons: The hotel was some distance from the main Burgos to Madrid road and as we didn't arrive until 21.00 the driving down a narrow, unlit road was a little arduous but that was obviously not a fault of the hotel and we felt it was worth the drive once we arrived.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Hot water was not consistently available or hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely friendly hotel, with a great breakfast! The town is beautiful, and there are several restaurants in the town where you can have a drink or a meal, if you don't want to eat in the hotel. Ideal location for sight seeing. Excellent communication from the hotel.
Cons: nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Modern and clean room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Vanessa, very helpful and friendly lady Sad hill cemetery
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very interesting and well situated for a walking holiday.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I would absolutely stay again. Quiet, beautiful, exceptional service and a minute walk to the monetary, which you can see from the property. Right in the middle of the town square....
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is a gorgeous stone structure with fabulous exposed stone walls, thick, carved wooden doors, heavy iron hardware and beautiful casement windows. The rooms are clean and the beds are reasonably comfortable.
Cons: We had to get a second room for our son, and it was unbearably hot because the staff had forgotten the portable AC or a fan. They brought a fan when I asked, but it was too late. It was miserably hot all night long. Our son would have been more comfortable on the floor. One other problem was a very bad smell in the bathroom of our other room. It was faint when we arrived, but by midnight very unpleasant and nearly unbearable by morning. Too bad! I wanted to love this place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about our stay, it's just such a cool, historic property (a former mansion) in the sweetest village. We were so fortunate to face the plaza and monastery from room no 9, located just above the front door. A very special experience and we hope to return. Also, the breakfast was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, the room was great and had an amazing view. The staff was friendly and very helpful. My friend had forgotten her jacket in the bus and the staff helped us get it back. (Thanks again for that!) We wanted to visit Sad Hill Cemetery and the staff gave us brochures and pointed us in the right direction. They made us lunch packages for the walk. We had to leave early the last morning and they prepared breakfast for us to take on the road. Breakfast and coffee were great and the entire atmosphere was wonderful. I'd stay here again anytime!
6.3 Good
Cons: breakfast. too poor for the amount diner also
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay. We were visiting the area because one of our children love the good the bad and the Ugly film. This was a fabulous location for visiting a stunning area of Spain.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here several years ago, and while it was a lovely, charming old hotel, it needed upgrading. This is a family business and the son has taken over - and now the bathrooms are modern, there are plenty of electrical outlets, everything works...and it’s still charming. I had a very comfortable stay here. The dining room is good, basic regional food (no fusion cuisine here!) and the staff is very pleasant. The wifi is sometimes weak, but that’s because it’s an old stone building with thick walls. A good stay and I plan to stay here again, because Santo Domingo de Silos is a wonderful place...and this is right across the street from the monastery.

Cons: Nothing to dislike
7.9 Good
Cons: The restaurant was not open in the evening!!!!No Dinner
4.6 Okay
Pros: Only plus was that hotel was a minute away from beautiful main square
Cons: Very cluttered, claustrophobic surroundings. I appreciate all things old and keeping to a theme but this was just too much. Room was ok but bed not comfy. Very small shower room - a large person would have difficulty using the loo. A huge lounge area but no bar or snacks so you need to take with you! No meals served - dining room is for large parties only. We arrive Sunday and nowhere in area was open for s meal except the Parador which cost us s fortune and certainly wasn't worth it. Breakfast very minimal
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good but expensive at €9 per person.
Cons: No glasses for water, no tea/coffee but there was a kettle and tea cups in the room. Restaurant closed in the evening except weekend. Other restaurants in the town also closed as it was Tuesday! One or two restaurants/cafes open but food only served after 8.30pm.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Rustic real Spain very friendly, sorry the restaurant wasn't open but it was a quiet monday in early Feb! The refurbished rooms and en-suites are very good. It's a great location for us too; close to the auto route but in an historic interesting locality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely comfortable beds with beautiful bed linen.
Cons: Struggled to find restaurants open in the evening.
5.0 Okay
