Pros: Everything, perfect hosts, lovely tranquil surroundings, lovely breakfasts outside our room, everything home made, and the use of there kitchen was a tremendous benefit. We and our dog absolutely loved it. One of, if not the very best we have ever stayed in. 10/10. Back next year.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful
Pros: a lovely property beyond clean , beautifully decorated , lovely garden and pool area , breakfast very enjoyable , owners so welcoming . we would definitely want to return, excellent value for money , , already recommending to friends .
Cons: nothing to dislike
Pros: At Villa Carcajou the pluses are endless. Host, Rooms, Cleanliness, Quiet, Decor, Pool, are but a few of the excellent features of this Bed and Breakfast which is ideally situated for exploring the nearby attractions. The Continental style breakfast each morning was varied with some delightful home baking to set the day off on the right footing. All in all a well run establishment worthy of a ten out of ten rating.
Cons: My wife and I have tried to come up with a negative of any description - we failed miserably. The likes above say it all.
Pros: Absolutely amazing !!
Cons: Everything super room super staff !!
Pros: From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome, the facilities were lovely. They have a pool with a very cool cleaning robot. Breakfast was great too.
Pros: Our hosts were marvellous.. Fabulous breakfast with home-baked components every morning. The pool is lovely and, like everything else, finished to a high standard and beautifully maintained. We had use of the kitchen which, again, is well-fitted and spotlessly clean and we found this very useful travelling with a 2 year old. The bed and linen were very comfortable and we were able to park the car right outside the door in a purpose-built carport which was useful for loading the car in the morning and kept it cool during what was a very hot stay! Can't wait to visit again..
Pros: So clean and tidy. Very friendly hosts. Convenient location for many places of interest to me as a photogtapher. The first time we have stayed in a chamber d' hotes. Excellent.
Pros: The accommodation was clean, bright and airy. We were grateful for the fan as there was no air con and the temperature was very hot. The swimming pool was lovely and breakfast good. A nice little kitchen with fridge and kettle by the pool to use as well.
Cons: The 18.00 check-in time is rather late and when you’ve been traveling all day especially in the heat we had . We were unable to go in before that time
Pros: Lovely family business, the owners were very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The room facilities are excellent and the swimming pool is superb. Breakfast alfresco by the pool was very good and sets you up for the day. The location is ideal for nearby seaside towns as well as historic attractions. Good for a stopover or for a longer holiday. We stopped over on route but we'll definitely be returning for a longer stay
Cons: It's hard to find fault so I don't have any negative comments
Pros: Friendly welcoming hosts. Very nice breakfast
Cons: If you are here on a stopover, there is not much to do in Cozes.
Camping Le Sorlut is 500 metres from the centre of Cozes and 350 metres from the Tourism Office. It offers a children’s playground, WiFi access and self-catering mobile homes with a furnished terrace. Each mobile home features a private bathroom with a shower. Guests are able to prepare their own meals in the kitchenette, which is equipped with a stove, a fridge and a microwave. Restaurants can be found within 2 km of the property. Mini golf facilities can be enjoyed next to the camping at an extra cost. Free private parking is available on site.
Cons: Limited breakfast Nowhere open to eat locally on a Tuesday night Large room but could do with a couple of comfortable chairs and a larger bed(king size would have been better for the size of room)
Pros: Charming, helpful proprietors. Lovely big old room with lots of character and view over the harbour. Delicious croissants at breakfast. Very good quiet location with easy parking.
Pros: Location. Nice old house
Cons: Although we stayed for 8 nights the bathroom was never cleaned . We had to ask for a change of towels and bedsheets after 3 days which were provided although we were told this was not usual . This seemed odd to us because if we had stayed for 1 night only we would have had clean sheets and towels. I may add that there was no reduction in tariff for a long stay.
Pros: The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We opted to have them cook dinner for us and it was very fun and the food was delicious. They have secure storage for bicycles and it is a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The only thing I would change is that the breakfast that is included is very minimal. We are cyclists so we like to have a more complete breakfast.
