Pros: Breakfast was beautiful. Hosts very kind. Swimming pool really lovely. Views amazing. Local places were really stunning. Can’t wait to come back.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very yummy. Most of the items were organic or homemade. It was very nice to enjoy a cup of coffee while looking at the ocean.
Cons: Everything was great. Nothing else needs to be said. There was nothing here that would keep me from staying here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome, heavenly breakfast, excellent location for a good rest after a day out.
Cons: This place would be even better if they would offer dinner.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The views are breathtaking, the room ample and comfortable.
Cons: The host didn't make us feel welcomed into a relaxed atmosphere. There were a lot of don'ts and regulations as soon as we stepped in, not what you are expecting to find in a place where you are supposed to relaxed in a warm environment. Restaurants are not near by, so we asked if she was able to fix a plate of cheese or something, and it was a flat out no. If you position yourself as a not-super-cheap boutique place, you could do a bit better to welcome travellers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a spectacular location, view and experience! Overlooking the ocean, incredibly serene and beautiful. Very quiet hotel with an amazing breakfast in an all glass dining room with views of the pool and ocean. A short distance from Mutriku, a charming seaside villa with great fish!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was perfect. Room clean and confortable. Top landscape and position. The lady was perfect and really kind. Free parking included that is not easy in this area. Totally relax. A small paradise. One thing: no dinner available but 3km to the center city
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice boutique hotel Beautiful view on the sea Hosts were very friendly Home made products for breakfast
Cons: Due to work on road hotel is not easy to reach (just takes 10 minutes extra), hosts apologized a million times though not their mistake
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine and plenty of variety. Views fantastic. The lady in charge was brilliant - very helpful, gave me a lift to nearby restaurants even late in the evening when I arrived and sent me various e mails with the latest routes to find the hotel. BIG thanks. Nice walk to Deba over the mountain.
Cons: It was a shame the coast road was closed which made finding Hotel Arbe VERY difficult. So a bit hot and bothered on arrival. However, NOT the hotels fault - they did all they could to mitigate the effects. The finger print system of door keys was a challenge at first but eventually worked OK.

2.9 Mediocre
Pros: It was very noisy due to the location on a main road, dinner v expensive, poor breakfast, no effort made by staff to offer information on directions, was heading off on camino, there was a safe shortcut that one of the customers told me about after hearing the staff indicating I walk down a main dangerous road. Hotel dated, 19 euro for starter of prawns a bit much, only crossants for breakfast, would not recommend anyone stay here
Cons: See above
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I are walking the Camino. Upon arrival the owner could see that we are stressed from the treck and immediately had the staff take our bags upstairs. I travel all over the world and I can honestly say that Hotel Kanala is a must if you are passing that way. Food is great along with the service.
Cons: I liked it all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very accommodating! The location was perfect for our needs and the atmosphere was refreshing
Cons: Being a larger person, I would have liked a bigger shower, however that won’t stop me from returning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the view. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was clean and on The Camino de Santiago
Cons: A bright neon security light inside my room which I could not turn off. It kept going on and off which interrupted sleep. I finally got the bar nan to tape a dark cloth over it. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty.
6.3 Good
Pros: Dinner was excellent. Fish soup was amazing. Great view and outside eating area.
Cons: Beds were very uncomfortable and squeaky. When we checked in we were told breakfast was available, but then in the morning they were confused. Very poor English and attempts to understand us were lacking.
5.0 Okay
Cons: No signal for our cards to work , good job we had euros to pay with .

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great and friendly hosts. Beautiful location in the country with views from the accommodation. The apartments have been renovated and are very clean and comfortable. The beach and restaurants are just a 15 minute drive away.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The went above and beyond. For example, I am walking the Camino de Santiago and when I missed the turn to get to their property and didn't realize it until I was on the other side of Deba they kindly came and picked me up so I didn't have to backtrack.
Cons: Everything was great. Wished I could have stayed longer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the openness and generosity of Guy and Eli. The bed was very comfortable and the hot shower was appreciated. Also, enjoyed the wine and apple juice and the view is lovely.
Cons: We thought the agritourism would be more local products for breakfast, like butter and jams and not so much processed food. What was bothersome was our bedroom was under another room and since the flooring is not insulated one can hear everything, including toilet breaks. And the internet didn't function all the time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about the property. It’s location, the room, the front porch with its tables and a fantastic view of the mountains, and especially feeling completely at home. Highly recommendable if you want to spend some time away from the noise and the restlessness of the city. The hosts are amazing and will help you with absolutely everything they can. Definitely worth it. Oh, and breakfast is really good. They even bought soy milk just for me :)
Cons: Everything was perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular location and views and delicious breakfast with homemade juice. Worth a stay even if just for the night in the Camino.
Cons: The restaurants nearby were closed in Sunday , big thanks to the host for giving us a lift to another one a couple kms down the road! They were selling homemade apple cider and offered a splendid breakfast. Both hosts speak English fluently so communication was smooth.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is an extraordinairy place with an amazing view, very nice owners and beautiful rooms. A must for a nice stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts and incredible hospitality. I highly recommend one stays here. It was so relaxing and the landscape is gorgeous!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is amazing!!! In the middle of the mountains and a vineyard, we had the most amazing view while having our wine on the house’s terrace. Its the perfect place to relax. We loved every second of it!! The owners are sweethearts, accommodated our every need:) cant wait to go back

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large smart and clean room with large comfortable twin beds. There is a small fridge in the room which is stocked with complementary drinks. Just around the corner from the beach. Would stay here again.
Cons: It was impossible to turn the radiators off and it was getting much too hot in the room. When we complained to the man at reception he kindly shut the heating system down for us. All was fine after that. Thanks. It is opposite a railway line and passing trains are quite noisy.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, and it took some determination to break away from the table and set off. The location was surprisingly convenient and surprisingly quiet. From the map, it appeared that the Pensión was on the opposite side of the railway tracks to the town centre, but a tunnel under the tracks was a very convenient short cut to an interesting small town with a magnificent parish church and very helpful tourist office. The railway prompted apprehension about noise, but it was remarkably quiet and comfortable. The staff were very helpful when I was making inquiries about a missing mobile phone, and they readily volunteered help with phone calls.
Cons: I can't think of any potential dislikes.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived late at night and depart early morning. I can tell you I slept like a baby even though windows on a 1st floor were open for comfort. Clean and comfortable room.
Cons: Air condition was on since room was set to 23 degrees C. Spoke to person in charge who told us to open the windows. Slept with windows open on a 1st floor room overlooking the road without knowing how safe the area was.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice continental breakfast for a reasonable additional charge. Beautiful spacious room with view of park and with good sized single beds. Good bath towels. Additional room facilities included writing desk and small couch.
Cons: Location opposite a local Park but local narrow gauge rail line between house and park. Fortunately trains not running during night . Unfortunately beds had waterproof mattress protectors on under the sheets and were very uncomfortable to sleep on. After an hour trying to get to sleep I had to get up and remove it and re make the bed to get some sleep.
7.1 Good
Cons: Lågt i tak i badrummet./Low ciling height in the bathroom.
