7.1 Good
Cons: The service was too slow and the quality was not as expected
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful, the grounds tranquil and verdant and the sunsets stunning. The staff try hard to make your holiday enjoyable and are cheerful depite what seem to be very long hours! The food is plentiful and beautifully presented.
Cons: The main problem was with the language barrier. Be aware that the resort caters mainly for Turkish guests and if your Turkish is limited (like ours) you might struggle in some areas: eg there was no English translation of the menu and the waiting staff struggled valiantly to explain the dishes. Signs were sometimes in both Turkish and English, but not always: the pool (which unfortunately was out of action whilst we were there) only had a Turkish sign, so it took us a while to find it. This might not have been such a problem if there had been a map or that we had wifi (only available in Reception) Information folders in rooms were empty (not even a Turkish version) so we had no idea what extras were on offer - we stumbled upon a scuba centre, although no one was there. I believe there was the opportunity to have a massage or take a boat ride but no idea of where or the cost. These issues aren't insurmountable and hopefully will be addressed soon.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were much better than our expectations
Cons: Scuba diving was not available
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best customer service I have ever received from a hotel
Cons: Nothing!
