Pros: Lovely friendly inn. My (disabled)room was excellent, the bed was better than mine at home! Apart from the toilet seat the room/bathroom was beautifully clean. Breakfast was great, served by a very smiley, happy young lady.
Cons: My room was adjacent to entrance of inn, so noisy, though it did stop just before 11pm. would not want to be staying in that room in the summer as there were patio tables/chairs right outside the room. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel, food and staff were amazing. We will definatly return.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful, small, family run hotel (or restaurant with rooms, as the family describes it). The family can't do enough for you and are so friendly they make you feel that you are one of the family. At the price I doubt one could find anything better. My one little gripe is that even at the end of our five day stay I still couldn't properly operate the elaborate shower settings.
Cons: The main road that the hotel is situated on can be busy at times and while there was no road noise to be heard in our room (situated some distance from the road) it could be a little tricky emerging onto the road. On the other hand, the location made it easy to find the hotel on arrival.

Our little dog was made welcome and forgiven when she couldn't resist wandering into the kitchen when the sausages were being cooked in the mornings! Our full vegetarian breakfasts were great. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a converted stable which was excellently designed for a couple, including kitchen with eating area, lounge, patio and bathroom along with upstairs double bedroom. Very friendly and helpful proprietor.
Cons: There's really nothing not to like. Mobile phone signal wasn't great but there's not a lot Strenneth can do about that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jane & Paul from Rossendale. What a location, such a really beautiful part of the country. The B&B was lovely set in a tranquil setting with cute pubs not too far away. The Hosts Paul and Yolanda where lovely , making sure we had a spot to park as my hubby is ill/disabled and also taking the time to mention some great places to see during our stay. The room it self was a large superior room which was very clean with attention to detail and a great view on to the garden area which comprised of lawn and trees. Morning breakfast was really lovely, the hosts talked about the local produce and included those in the breakfast selection , which by the way was yummy. Overall I was very impressed I liked everything about the place, clean, good food, great hosts and a beautiful location. We'll definitely be back.
Cons: In July with the corn and wheat fields you do get flies in this location that are a bit annoying but nothing a good spider or a swotter will sort. But you are in the country side so what do you expect!.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect breakfast with home made apple juice and three fruit marmalade. The hosts were just great. When I arrived not knowing who'd won the Test match, the host pretended that we'd lost as I watched last 18 runs of highlights, and when he heard my shout of 'Yes ! ' he came in with a bottle of beer to celebrate. Also he knocked off a couple or more pounds from the bill, so after a breakfast ended with easy conversation with other guests and host's wife, I left with a great feeling that this is a quite exemplary b and b.What more do you want!
Cons: Not a thing.
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean rooms with friendly staff

7.5 Good
Pros: The bed was comfy, breakfast was good. Young lady serving us at breakfast was very pleasant and friendly.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location and the setting were lovely, the young staff were very friendly were but talked too terribly by the senior staff members
Cons: Dangerously hot roof room with no A/C, poor service in the restaurant with meals being served incomplete, bar and restaurant full of flys, complacency to feedback and lack of response or acknowledgement
7.5 Good
Pros: Rachel in breakfast room was terrific- made up for some pleasant but not always very helpful staff elsewhere.
Cons: Arrived at 3:05 pm and were told that couldn't have roast lunch, as just finished serving. Feel that staff could have made a bit more effort to communicate with each other and to try and help us. Shame to hear that yoghurt pots are to be introduced, instead of the current bowl!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location staff all very pleasant and helpful restaurant excellent hotel in the throes of renovation and new projects sure when complete will be excellent will return
9.6 Excellent

Cons: N/a
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was fine, it was peaceful for the nights sleep we required. No complaints, regarding staff, found them friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bar was dismal, bar food was fine, but lacking tables to eat from. It was very much geared to restaurant eating, which doesn't fit my day time requirements. Flies were a much bigger concern, even without food they were buzzing around you all the time, breakfast was particularly bad, food had to be covered. Room was ok, but shower needed a good clean in the corner's. Complained to reception on departure. A shame really as the hotel has a lot going for it, flies shouldn't be a problem in this country.

Pros: Very helpful staff, wonderful dfood and the room was excellent.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel rooms were conveniently on the ground floor and near to each other as requested. The food was excellent and the location was great for shops, trains and parks. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms decor was very modern as was the furniture, the bed was extremely comfortable, unfortunately one of the draw fronts was broken on the bedside cabinet but this was going to be repaired, there was always very hot water in the bathroom and the shower was very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, everything we ordered was cooked when we ordered
Cons: Our only one problem which could not be helped, was our room was an upper garden room and due to the age of the building the stairs to our room had very small treds and they were steep, but that was my only comment, but not a complaint, the staff were very willing to take some of our luggage up for us
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: need simplified television controls
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly staff - comfy bed
Cons: Cramped single room - broken shelf rail over basin - wardrobe door handle broken - fluff on floor
7.9 Good
Pros: Great staff - very friendly and always happy to go the extra mile to make my stay a very happy one. Thank you!
Cons: Would have liked a fridge in the room but no big deal
4.0 Okay
Pros: Nice country style hotel let down by young uninterested staff clean well decorated rooms
Cons: Ignored at reception not even acknowledged by staff till 5 minutes had measles’s abd they were ready to bother with me. Shower either Luke warm dribble or freezing torrent. No explanation of facilities bar restaurant etc. Staff young inexperienced and patently uninterested. Breakfast poor selection no organisation slow service if you could get anyone’s attention and mean small portions of food where there was more plate than food. No one seemed interested or card about guests. Really is stuck in the 1990’s one premier inn in the vicinity would kill the business
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff were very friendly Great location for Snetterton Race Circuit
Cons: I have stayed at the Park Hotel many times before but sadly on this occasion I was very disappointed Our twin room was located in the annex, and sadly was very disappointing the room had many faults 1. Hole in wall around door frame 2. Large amounts of limescale all over the shower head 3. Mismatch of bedroom furniture which made the room look very dated 4. A ripped black sofa which looked very worn and seemed like 2 corner ends had been pushed together to form a sofa 5. Room was very cold and temperature gauge for radiator was hard to find and took some looking for So with these faults sadly my score isn’t as high as previous visits and would be my suggestion that the faults listed above to be sorted as with that in mind I found the price to be far too high to what I as expecting Sadly if this was my first visit to the Park Hotel I would not recommend this hotel and would seek other accommodation in future visits to the area
6.7 Good
Cons: Tired and in need of redecoration. Example. Blinds in bedrooms tatty. Not working properly. Tiles missing in bathroom and so on
4.6 Okay
Cons: Sadly very overpriced. Tatty. Dead mouse on path. Unpleasant smell on towel. Needs a makeover.

Pros: Amazing got a little cottage wasnt expecting that and the staff were fantastic will be going back

3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Toilet not working. Could not repair. Put in other accommodation not very good
7.5 Good
Pros: Own front door, on one level with a little garden to sit in.
Cons: Separate shower would have been good, particularly for people with disabilities.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting, lovely and quiet, all nice and clean, helpful and friendly staff, excellent food, easy parking, reasonable prices.
Cons: The mattress in room 17 not very comfortable, and ceiling/upstairs floor creaks as people walk around.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff, food and decor.
Cons: Tired old building. Windows and Secondary glazing need immediate refurbishment. Not the best shower.
6.7 Good
Pros: We had 2 rooms both upgraded large and comfortable with plenty of light. Loved the quirky uneven floors. Decorated to a reasonable standard and plenty of storage space plus ironing board and iron. Breakfast was average.
Cons: One room the shower didn't work properly the other room you had to stand up against the bath taps. Needs to be looked at. Dining chairs too low and too big for the size of table. Staff need to be a bit more enthusiastic especially the younger ones. Bell on reception would be great as often unattended. A good coat of paint in the windows is needed even some sashes really need replacing. Wasn't sure if extractor fan was working. Restaurant was average could do better for vegetarians as very limited choice.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was excellent for our needs
Cons: Shower had no power at all. The only opening room window was directly above the kitchen extractor fan which meant you could smell what the kitchen was cooking and also was turned on at 7.00am.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The building is very historic. The staff were great and the breakfast was lovely.
Cons: Our bed sagged in the middle. It could have been more comfortable but seemed worn out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Private secure garden adjacent to our room for the dog.
Cons: No fridge in room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant with very well-trained staff and lovely food.
Cons: The ridiculously small TV in the room. You would need to be 5 feet from it in order to watch it. It's on the wall a long way from the bed and needs to be replaced with a larger screen urgently. Noisy guests above us - not the hotel's fault of course. Seemed to be a company group of about 5 young people who didn't think about the noise they make.

7.5 Good
Pros: Room size.gym
Cons: Incorrect breakfast charges
4.6 Okay
Cons: The room was shocking dirty and not fit for human use. Needs major clean and update.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere and tranquility was outstanding. Friendliness of staff was excellent. Quality of room and overall hotel was one of the best I’ve stayed in. Food was beyond great. The double shower and large bed were a nice touch. We will definitely be back again soon
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Bar was pleasant.
Cons: Breakfast was cold on both mornings and staff had to be looked for to supply milk and butter which you would normally expect to find on the table! shower temperature control wasn't working - water scolding hot on both days - staff were told but advised they couldn't repair and we had to buy a water pitcher from town to wash in! Room window was a velux type and overlooked by the room opposite so you couldn't open in the evening or day - and the temperature outside was 30+ on both days of our stay! Lift was full of cleaning and linen on several occasions and elderly residents unable to use it! TV unwatchable as screen continually pixelating.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Must have had the smallest room in the roof. Very steep stairs up to room with no hand rail, bet scary coming down with bags. Bed not very comfortable dipped in the middle.
7.9 Good
Pros: Room nice clean comfortable quiet
Cons: Condition over breakfast it was included in the price tried to charge us when we checked in the at breakfast the next next morning tried again to charge us and at check out showed them misinformation details clearly says breakfast included lack of communication 3 times unexeceptable
7.7 Good
Pros: A very nice welcome on arrival, and help when I had left items in my room after departure.
Cons: Slow breakfast service. I arrived about halfway through the breakfast service to find most of the hot items gone, then a 15 minute wait before they were replenished.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good
Cons: Bed two small for two people
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were lovely and very welcoming. The ground are stunning.
Cons: The room was very cold, but a small electrical heater was provided. The shower was broken so the shower head wasn’t placed upright. The room was fine, but did have stains all over the carpet.
7.5 Good
Pros: all was good
Cons: all was good with the stay, room & food, but there were a number of dead fly's by the food serving area in front of the fly-zapper
7.4 Good
Cons: I would like to have seen some information in the room on the restaurant, breakfast & dinner times & maybe a sample menu & details on checkout times. there was no guest information at all not even on the area or things to do.
6.4 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff; they even offered to buy in special foods for the gluten-free diet in our group. Pleasant grounds and peaceful rural setting. Good breakfast, but some fruit would have been nice. We appreciated having ground-floor rooms and being able to park right outside.
Cons: My room was far too hot and I couldn't adjust the radiator or towel rail. The shower was also too hot to stand under, so I had to have a bath each morning. I did report this and was told a plumber was due in the day, but there was no change in temperature of heating or water afterwards. I was pleased we were allowed to bring a dog at no extra charge, but felt that having to sign a detailed disclaimer was a little over the top; it was something I'd never had to do before. It also seemed a little distasteful that a hotel of this standard should be threatening to fine guests for dog-fouling and smoking in rooms; a simple, polite reminder that these are not acceptable should suffice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and very comfortable well sized rooms. There is ample parking adjacent to the rooms. I like the fact that all the rooms are at ground floor and are very clean. Highly recommended
5.6 Okay
Cons: Disapointed with choise of food menu and quality of food
