9.2 Excellent
Pros: nice hosts (personal welcome and easy checkout); large rooms nicely decorated room (Lexington) well cleaned; very good breakfast with plenty of choices; location near to Skuleskogen, Skuleberget and ferry to Ulvön
Cons: near to E4 - if you have to open the window (which we had due to the muggy weather conditions) it's really noisy
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous guesthouse right next to E4. In the middle of nowhere of course, but if you'd like to visit Skuleskogs national park or Skuleskogen or anywhere else in Höga kusten (High coast), this is the best you can get. Lovely elderly couple that owned the establishment were friendly, outgoing and helpful. The room was very clean and nice and the house was in perfect condition, a lot of open spaces and the breakfast was marvelous. Will stay here again when we return!
Cons: Nothing, but be sure to communicate to the owners when you want to check-in=)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and well kept B&B with extremely nice host couple. Always worthwhile to stop over! Nice breakfast as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a short but lovely pre-Christmas stay at the villa! The villa is cozy and spacious and we enjoyed it very much, having the place to ourselves! It is a very beautiful, calm setting. Inside, the villa was warm and comfortable, with a beautiful view from the windows. A tranquil atmosphere and setting indeed during our winter journey. Recommend anytime though as a beautiful, quiet retreat to really appreciate nature and more rural Sweden. The hosts were amazing, so accommodating preparing the entire place for our short stay, and we immensely enjoyed our breakfast visit with them. They also went out of their way to reunite me with my beloved Swedish wool hat that I mistakenly left behind. So grateful. Cannot say enough good things about our stay as well as the hospitality and care of Hans and Karen. I do look forward to meeting you again if we return to Sweden!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really good breakfast and friendly, helpful hosts.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice and considerate hosts. Clean and tidy room.
Cons: Private toilet is not in the room. Not very far from the main road, so a bit noisy at night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, spacious and great stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay exceeded our expectations! Excepting the Skuleskogen national park, Docksta seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but this bed and breakfast on the other side of Skuleberget (amazing location) is a little oasis of comfort and hospitality. The bedroom and bathroom are hyperclean, quite luxurious and beautiful. The breakfast is amazing - more than enough to fill up on energy for your hiking adventures. And best of all are the hosts, who are wonderful breakfast companions to talk to and do everything to make your stay as nice as possible (including Hans offering to drive you to the park for a little fee).

Self-made breakfast with delicious home made jam.

4.2 Okay
Pros: The hotel was clean and Comfy, if you get a roo. With a view of the water, it is lovely
Cons: The room is over priced. The breakfast is a do it yourself buffet which could do with better choices. We arrived at 1pm and the Fresh food for breakfast was already in the fridge with no date on is so I have no idea on how long it has been there. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really great value for money. Friendly staff! Thank you
Cons: All good
7.1 Good
Pros: The minimal design in the hostel rooms. The facilities in the stuga.
Cons: That it is more a hostel than hotel but the price is more hotel than hostel. The reception and place where you can get the included breakfast is about a kilometre away which is fine if you have a car but inconvenient and time consuming if you're on foot.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice, spacious room with e deck and nice view.
6.3 Good
Pros: Lots of space in the room, clean fridge, good working wifi, bathroom is ok. Balcony with a nice morning view to the lake.
Cons: I had to wait in the restaurant queue to check-in for the hotel. Reception is 700m from the hotel room, not so good when you're travelling by foot and with big luggage. The restaurant (which is also the reception) opens at 10am every day. Checkout prior to that is not possible.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: nothing
Cons: far too expensiv It shall cost 200SEK Not more. Look the breakfast, cold shower. You must the key in a petrol-station. Nothing, nothing good
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: No breafast before 08:00. The room is close to the road E4, noisy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: No one else was in my section of the house/hotel, so I had the place to myself. Nice, since it was shared toilet and shower room. Pleasant, quiet, with comfortable bed. Good to have wash basin/sink in the room. Good and adequate free breakfast, though not super-duper. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, reasonably near Skuleberget and High Coast hiking trail (Höga Kusten-leden). The evening meal I bought at the Docksta Bar restaurant was delicious and served promptly.
Cons: There was no indication on their Booking.com site that the hotel rooms were 700 meters (!) away from the check-in restaurant/baren and breakfast location. There was only one very small sign (easily missed!) for "Docksta Baren" and only "Hotel Rum" on the house where the hotel rooms were located. NOWHERE was there a sign: "Dockstabaren Hotel" as it is named on the Booking.com site, though there was a sign on the Hotel house that said "Docksta Baren 700 meters <----". Confusing and a bit hard to find where to check in, (especially since there is also a different "Docksta Hotel"). Plus it meant a good bit of walking between the two buildings for a tired 70-year-old hiker who had just done the "fairly easy" but STRENUOUS climb up and down Skuleberget. Still, once I knew the situation, I was thankful for a clean and comfortable place to stay overnight for a good price.
