We made a reservation through Dollar about 2 months before our trip. When we got to their counter at the ATL airport we were told they had no cars and that the wait would be FOUR (4) hours to get a car!! Not to mention that the line to get to the counter to be waited on was an HOUR! Never again.Reviewed 28 Sep. 2023

The car was excellent. My experience with Kayak was wonderful as usual. I reserved a car which would make me assume a car was available. I had to wait an hour to finalize my car and the average wait to actually get one was 2+ hours. This significantly delayed travel plans I would expect if a reservation is available, it means a car will be. This needs to be addressed by Thrifty/Dollar.Reviewed 9 Sep. 2023

Only after being on line for 45 minutes did they let everyone know that they didn’t have cars to my reservations that were there. Instead if you booked in the last week your reservation wouldn’t be honored at all and if you did there was a roughly 3 hour wait after you get to the front the line to get a car. This left hundreds of families including me to scramble to find alternatives last minute. What’s worse in my opinion is that after paying 4x to get a car at another agency they mentioned that this was normal for dollar and thrifty at that location and they were nearly out of cars from last minute cancelled booking that made it to their lines that dayReviewed 3 Aug. 2023
