Located in Dun-sur-Meuse, Hôtel le Râle des Genêts is in a rural location, a 2-minute drive from Dun-Haut Cathedral and 6 minutes from Mont devant Sassey Cathedral. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent value for money, friendly efficient staff made us feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable and clean with a very good shower. The manager recommended a local restaurant not more than a five minute walk which served great food made with local produce.

Pros: The management were so friendly and welcoming it was a real delight, the manager spoke very good English which was a real bonus and they made me so welcome this was a pure pleasure, they even managed to get me a table at the French restaurant just up the road at very short notice, could not ask for more

Pros: We were welcomed by the lovely couple that run this hotel.They were concerned that we would need to book a table for dinner at the restaurant 100m up the road. She insisted on phoning them and was clearly pleased that we had got the last booking. We found out why. We had a superb meal at the only place in town! Fasthôtel Le Râle Des Genêts is a modern motel type place with a personal touch! The couple that run the place couldn't do enough for us! The room was clean and bright and parking plentiful. Perfect for our overnight stay on our way back from Italy. Thank you.

Pros: Lovely clean modern bedroom & bathroom. The receptionist was very helpful in making a telephone reservation of a table for us at the lovely restaurant 5 mins walk away, where we had an excellent evening meal.

Pros: The establishment is situated in a quiet village by the river Meuse. The building is simple but charming and the host and hostess welcoming. There’s a lot of history all around the area.

Pros: Dutch owners very attentive.Lovely view from room of the Meuse river. Superb breakfast with plenty of choice and plenty to eat. Secure parking in garage for motorcycle.
Cons: The b & b doesn't have a name outside which caused confusion. Hotel is a little jaded but comfortable and clean. Rooms not en suite.

Cons: Toilet and showers are communal, might be a problem for some but it does make it clear in the blurb. We didn't mind It's an old house that creaks and groans, I call it character, you may find that off putting

Cons: There wasn't a chair in the room to sit down on. There was also no TV in the room. And the bed wasn't changed.
