Pros: The breakfast was excellent especially that the hosts made an extra effort to cater for all our needs.
Cons: Having to leave :-)
Pros: The room and breakfasts were excellent, our host made us feel very welcome, the views were beautiful with lots of songbirds in the garden.
Cons: My only comment would be that it was not clear to me on the confirmation documents that payment was to be made in cash, which caused me some embarassment, however our host ws able to direct us to an ATM so thatb the matter could be resolvd satisfactorily.
This family-run country hotel is set in a tranquil side-street location, near the centre of the pretty village of Undeloh, in the heart of Lüneburg Heath. The Landhaus Heideschmiede is the ideal place to come on a romantic getaway, a family holiday or merely a leisurely or relaxing break. Enjoy the cosy furnishings in the rustic style rooms. Go for a nice swim in the indoor pool. Relax in the coffee garden, fireplace lounge, sauna or sunbathing terrace.
Pros: In a really cute town. The staff were really friendly. Room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable.
Pros: Perfectly quiet and relaxing location in the beautiful Lüneburger Heide. We could not stay as long as we had liked (and booked) since my partner fell ill - but the owner was very accommodating and not only provided us with hot broth, but also returned the fee for the final night that we could not stay. We'll certainly come back to make up for it!
Pros: Nice and friendly staff and a nice little pool
Pros: Clean, comfortable, very helpful staff.
Cons: No facilities for getting a hot drink during the day or evening.
Pros: The breakfast was very nice.
Cons: The pool wasn‘t open yet, which wasn‘t announced neither on booking.com nor on the hotels own homepage. I need to be in the water for health reason and I had therefor brought bathrobe and bathing suit in my hiking back pack.
Pros: Lovely place- the house is huge and beautifully decorated. You'll feel at home right away. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. There's a huge back garden where you can relax after a day's hike and grab a drink from a fridge in the kitchen- filled with beers, sodas, etc. Breakfast was fairly simple but absolutely sufficient. There's also an indoor pool which is great for a refreshing dip after a busy day.
Pros: It is a beautiful house in a little village located on the "Heideroute", which makes it very central to nice walks. House is spacious and atmospheric. We had a room with a seating area outside, which was amazing after a long trip - to sit in the sun, stretch your legs, let the feet sink in the grass. The house has a little fridge with drinks, which you can simply pick up and write down what you took to be charged during the check out. Very useful - we were there for Eastern and every shop would be closed, and there is but one restaurant in the village. Breakfast is quite copious with cheeses and sausages, eggs, yoghurt, fruits and many-many home-made jams. For Eastern all guests got a handful of Lindt chocolate eggs. Was a nice touch.
Cons: The house indeed has all the facilities mentioned in the description - sauna, fireplace, swimming pool, but you have to be proactive to use them. Maybe we were out of the main walking season, but unless you are a careful reader of Booking webpage, there is nothing in the house that tells you sauna and swimming pool are there - no signs on the doors, no information in the room, no explanation during the check in. Once we asked - we got full explanation. Swimming pool was covered and needed opening/closing, and sauna needs to be booked in advance, as it heats for 45 min before it can be used. So just be proactive. Second point - the house in general is very clean, but note that it is pet friendly and a lot of people come with dogs. So if you are even mildly allergic - pay attention. In our room dog hair was still very visible - on the couch and on curtains, for example. Third (and my biggest) - although the beds are fine to sleep in them, there should be somewhere an extra parameter of "romance-friendliness", and on this parameter they would not score high. The bed in our room was squeaking very loud with any attempt to move in it...
Pros: The location is very good if you can arrive at the place. The owner picked us up from the nearby town where we missed the correction and missed the last bus available to the place. We was very helpful. During the season, there would be free shuttle bus from Lüneburg. We went biking about the heath and that was very good.
Cons: Public transportation is very sparse. The buses are mostly for schoolchildren and if you miss it, you'll have a hard time arriving at the place. So the best way to get there is by car.
Pros: Very good breakfast. Staff was really nice and helpful. The room was comfortable. It is an old hotel, which shows, but nonetheless very tidy, clean and quiet.
Pros: Nice friendly family run hotel, good value
Pros: Clean rooms, large and quiet. Good internet link.
Cons: Water in swimming pool was too cold.

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: The hotel restaurant is very good.
Cons: Hotel itself could use some "make up"
Pros: Great large rooms. Great breakfast and a very nice restaurant for dinner.
Cons: The restaurant. We were served uneatable food. The “schweinehaxe” was totally cremated ,hard as a stonefloor and impossible to cut. The salad was unwashed and full of grit. The schnitsel and the potatoes was drowning in deepfrying oil. We returned the haxe untouched to the kitchen but were still charged full payment. Staff seamed very uncompetent.
Pros: Nice and the atmosphere is god - very clean
Cons: Food is god but it needs more focus
Pros: Nice hotel a few km from autobahn in a very calm and beautiful village. The hotel restaurant has a traditional German meny.
Cons: The room was too warm. No aircondition.
Pros: Staff was friendly and able to handle matters related to my visit smoothly and without problems.
Cons: The bed!!!
Pros: People were friendly. They gave us a nice family suit with a lot of space for us, and we even got a Christmas tree in the living room. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was averaged with good fresh food.
Pros: The family room we got was very spacious, two separate bedrooms and a small living room. The breakfast was excellent (for an hotel of this size) with a good range of bread to choose from. The hotel is located in a small village with meticulously well kept houses and gardens.
With a stay at Hotel Hof Sudermühlen in Egestorf (Harburg District), you'll be 8 minutes by car from Luneburg Heath Wildlife Park. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and lots to choose from. But not everything was fresh.
Cons: Nothing special to mention here.
Pros: The location is awesome: in a splendid park, quiet and relaxing, just 10 min far from a main highway. Well equipped and with fine furniture. Gentle staff, fine rooms of good standard. Very good breakfast. WiFi was fine everywhere. Free parking. Good food at the restaurant. The hotel houses a Center for horse riding very well kept. The surroundings are in a natural park of national importance: I enjoyed a fantastic morning walk As frequent traveller, I can say it is one of the nicest hotels I went in the last years. Highly recommendable
Pros: Position in nature and some lovely staff (the dark haired lady in the evening and the African lady at breakfast were delightful).
Cons: Definitely more geared to conferences. Beds were lumpy, balcony rusted and mouldy. We had a room overlooking the car park until we changed, despite the hotel being empty.
Pros: Nice hotel in the countryside. Clean and comfortable room.
Cons: Unfriendly staff. Had to search for a waiter at the restaurant and at breakfast.
Pros: Nice pitstop hotel. Very quite Good breakfast buffet
Cons: Beds were a little to hard
Pros: It is an amazing place to relax: peaceful and beautiful location, excellent restaurant with a very friendly staff, clean and nicely furnished rooms, tasty breakfast. Couldn't wish for more, just hoping for next visit for longer.
Pros: confortable bed, calm and nature environnement.
Cons: too much flies everywhere, specially in the restaurant. Regret not to have a little fridge and facility for the tea/coffee in the room. No English menu in the restaurant.

Pros: Dogs were wellcomed well. The surroundings were very, very beautiful!
Pros: Nice lodgings. Very pleasant staff, who very very flexible as regarding our special requests.
Pros: Even though the guesthouse and the interior looked a bit aged, it didn`t effect the experience. The beds was a bit firm, but not so hard that we weren`t able to get a good night sleep. Breakfast was satisfying and the dinner we had at the guesthouse tasted very good. The surroundings of the guesthouse was very idyllically.

Featured amenities include luggage storage and a safe deposit box at the front desk. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was really good.
Cons: We stayed on the 3 floor and the Wifi did't work up there. Furthermore you pay for wifi, though it's only 1€ for 4 hours. These days wifi should be free of charge and available in your room not only in the lobby
Pros: Great location near the Lüneberger Heide for walking and horse carriage tours. Good breakfast and restaurant on site. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff!
Cons: No complaints.
With a stay at Egestorfer Hof in Egestorf (Harburg District), you'll be 7 minutes by car from Luneburg Heath Wildlife Park. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly staff and close location near autobahn. Food in restaurant was good and the breakfast was good too. The rooms were quite spacious.
Cons: There were a couple of things we didnt like: The gasthof is located directly to a road with rather heavy traffic. Our room was directly out to the road, which were no problem as long as the windows were closed, but since the rooms are not AC'ed it was like 30 degrees in the room, so we had to open a window. Ask for rooms away from the road! They charged 12 euros for a baby crib - a thing we usually get for without any charge. But at least they told us that in advance.
Pros: Location, room
Cons: There is no lift. Breakfast and dinner should include more vegetarian options.
