8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, breakfast, and room size were great.
Cons: Slow wifi, TV essentially not functioning, facilities (e.g. pool or gym) would need some polishment.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Dessert options in all meals can Ben better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service. Mr. Jayasinghe and Miss. Iresha has done a great job.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice place and really nice staff
Cons: Room service is not good .
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location is beautiful with a view of the lake on nearly 3 sides of the property.
Cons: Rooms were not clean. I mean there was literally dust on the floor, especially in the corners. We found an earthworm in the bathroom, and a dead bug on the bed. The towels are not clean and have old stains and dust. The pillows are the same. THERE IS NO WIFI IN THE ROOMS! The food (dinner buffet) here is expensive, but it's pathetic except for the Sri Lankan spread which is quite good. But not good enough to make up for the flies buzzing around your food. The breakfast buffet spread was very average with no selection of meat. When we arrived there was a wedding function going on, and the guests were drunk and smoking and creating a lot of ruckus which could be heard till our room on the fourth floor. Basically this place falls short of being classy. Although the staff at the front desk are prompt and polite, the overall feeling is negative due to the above mentioned issues.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean spacious airy rooms. Very comfortable beds. Lovely location of edge of the lake. Morning safari organised by hotel and trip to elephant orphanage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was decorated lovely. Lake view is very nice. Staff was very helpful and service is great
Cons: Drinking Water is not enough for one night stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort with lake view. We use it just as the overnight base for Uda Walawe national park but it is worth to spend one-two days more. We checked-in at 9 pm, I asked for the laundry service and my clothes was ready by 10.30 am in the morning after we came back from the park! :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely three night stay at this hotel. We were upgraded upon arrival and had a beautiful, spacious room with views of the lake. Most guests appeared to only stay a night - for the purpose of the safari (30 mins drive). We stayed three nights, which allowed us the opportunity to relax and use the facilities - pool and spa (both nice). There is not much to do in the immediate location - we did elephant transit home, safari and travelled to Tangalle bay (1hrs drive) during our two full days. The staff at the hotel are very friendly, and go out of their way to make the trip enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was good and varied, and meant we were happy eating there for the duration of our stay. The hotel appears to be under booked, as there are areas of the hotel that look unused. Whilst it didn't impact our stay, it's a shame to see a hotel with a lot of potential so quiet. Minor quibble was having to get a different code for the wifi daily. Would definitely stay again. And a nice, relaxed hotel to stay after the hustle and bustle of the. busier cities.

6.3 Good
Pros: Staff v. Friendly.
Cons: Room was very dark. Roof leaked. Food very poor. Breakfast cold.
6.7 Good
Pros: Big room good air conditioning
Cons: Feels like a transit hotel for those going on safari (which is exactly what it is) but felt like cattle especially at dinner.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location. Proximity to the national park
Cons: No wifi in rooms this was a real issue considering we booked the suite and then couldn’t spend anytime enjoying it as no wifi so we had to sit by the pool (in the rain) Dated resort with buffet eating, the food was ok but not great
7.5 Good
Pros: Mixed feelings about this property. It has a great Safari feel, fantastic staff and it was very to the tourist attractions.
Cons: Photos clearly taken in the hotels ‘heyday’. In reality the hotel seems run down and requires revamping. Four star seems too generous in it current state, 3 star more realistic. Could feel like a 5 star if re vamped.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff are amazing. Made me feel very welcome for my whole stay and couldnt do enough to help with any requests. It was exactly what I was looking for, a quiet relaxing stress free weeks vacation. The location is great for the National park and the Elephant Transit Home. A great range of different food at the nightly buffet again with fabulous attentive staff. For me the staff at the hotel really made the holiday, great job guys
Cons: Only 1 thing which was not a deal breaker but the room is quite large and it would have been nice to have had a comfy chair to use at times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Monkeys on the veranda great staff good food
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms
