Pros: The owners are lovely. It was my partners birthday and they went all out to make it special even made a birthday cake.
Cons: It was exceptionally hot and the fan in room was not really enough..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored house with loads of history, a very spacious room which was furnished tastefully. Fantastic swimming pool and garden. Our hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful - it felt like we were staying with friends. On our last night Lee-Anne cooked us a truly fabulous meal - we ate in a beautiful, romantic outside which was formerly a temple. Thank you John and Lee-Anne for your hospitality and for a very memorable stay.
Cons: Nothing. It was all fabulous.

Pros: Very friendly couple and the meal they cooked was absolutely delicious
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were extremely kind and anticipated many details for us - including a picnic basket of dishes so we could take advantage of the Friday night village street market / fair. They were also very understanding of some scheduling changes due to unforeseen circumstances. And they have put together some excellent itineraries for the local area, including Cathar castles and other sights.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely and the aircon excellent. It is right on the square so couldn’t be closer to the action.
Cons: We stayed during a local festival and the noise from the square was very very loud, couldnt sleep until 3am.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We really liked this hotel which is situated right in the main square in Mirepoix in a building with immense character and charm. Our room looked out over the main square and was large and well furnished in an interesting and typically Feanch style. The bathroom was modern and well equipped with an excellent shower. All spotlessly clean. Breakfast has was simple but with locally made yogurts, fresh squeezed orange juice and excellent coffee. Our host was very welcoming. There is no car park at the hotel and Mirepoix is a busy town so be prepared for a short walk to the hotel.
Cons: Nothing. We would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Mirepoix.
7.1 Good
Pros: Yes very nice , it was clean & tidy, with friendly staff. Comfortable bedding & towels . The proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: The fact that there was no kettle for tea & coffee in bedroom, or a restaurant for hot evening meals and therefore had to eat out each day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely medieval building decorated beautifully. Charming and helpful host. Rooms comfy and charming.
8.3 Excellent

Pros: Location, breakfast, staff.
7.9 Good
Pros: Charming 1/2 timbered historic building in central square. This small hotel has remodeled the rooms with antique canopy beds and contemporary baths. Very nice in interesting town
Cons: There seemed to be only one employee working the hotel and Cafe, but she did her best to be efficient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was magnificent—glorious old hotel in the Centre of town with all mod cons.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast - the bread was delicious. Choice of freshly squeezed juice. The bed was really comfortable and the hotel itself was smack bang in the middle of the square. Great location. Private covered hotel parking was a short distance away (3 mins on foot).

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The whole ambience, the friendly staff, the situation right by the old medieval part of Mirepoix. The excellent evening meal and wine in the restaurant.
Cons: No comfortable chair(s) to relax in in bedroom
7.5 Good
Pros: It was very clean (after staff cleaned). Quiet also, and near Mirepoix Square
Cons: Difficulty running a/c controller, mattresses were thin, like hide-a-beds, no couch or reading lamp, only two chairs (like dining room chairs). There was a small desk and very small TV, bit didn't use either) Only cleaned on request. Parking was a challenge late at night.
7.5 Good
Pros: As above
Cons: Nothing I can think of
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large room, air con very welcome as so hot at the time in France. Nice shower. Super clean room. Lots of parking, great place to stay for the night before the amazing Mirepoix Monday market, a five minute walk away. Breakfast plentiful, sat outside as looked nicer than the breakfast room which was typical of a motel. Lots of parking and welcoming lovely staff. Perfect for our stay.
Cons: The outside dining area was on a mainish road and looking across to a cemetery in the distance, despite this it was very pretty with nice plants and lawns.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Edge of town, perfect parking, large rooms and great restaurant.
Cons: WiFi can be a bit hit and miss. It is a building with thick walls and this is a problem in an historic town in many of the hotels and restaurants, there is just no signal.

Pros: This is a nice old hotel run by the family in a friendly helpful manner . The rooms are nice and clean with good bathrooms and shower . Ours looked out on to the entrance courtyard of the hotel . A good location for the medieval centre of Mirepoix . Good breakfast and we considered value for money
Cons: NA
5.4 Okay
Pros: Staff were pleasant, restaurant food was ok.
Cons: Decor of hotel. Felt very dated One of the beds in our room was slanted.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the Bastide.
Cons: Internet was very slow and spasmodic in our room!
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location. Characterful hotel. Most of the staff (aged less than 60 yrs were very friendly)
Cons: The elderly man who checked us out was rude. He made us wait without even acknowledging our presence while he looked at the computer. Perhaps he was busy, but he could have at least said bonjour. He did not make eye contact and did not speak. Just passed us the bill and did not even say merci or au revoir (I did not expect him to have to speak English). A bad end to an otherwise pleasant stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff and willing to wait for a delayed flight in order to check us in during the middle of the night
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a well-maintained, charming property very close to the main square. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant and bar/outdoor area are very charming and old world. This place is a great value!
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was great - just a short distance from the centre square. We ate in the hotel one night and the meal was good.
Cons: The room was outdated and in need of an upgrade.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is very near the centre of Mirepoix. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was OK, especially the shower. The beds were comfortable. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very good meal at a reasonable price.
Cons: The parking was on the roadside which meant we had to park some way away and carry our bags back to the hotel. The room was small, very out-dated and smelt stale. There were no glasses in the bathroom and the lavatory door didn’t close properly.
7.9 Good
Pros: Well located, warm, very clean, and wi-fi, showers etc. all worked. Friendly couple running it. Good coffee.
Cons: VERY old-fashioned and dated rooms - if they were updated this would be a great simple, no-frills, good-value place.
