Everything was great except the valet took forever & they almost had our car lost.
Not in Sundance Square as advertised
I arrived to hotel at 10pm my room was prepaid but they gave it away they sent me clear down the other end of the city I was looking forward to being right there in middle of sundance square to comf walk to various places. They paid for all accommodations but it still was not what I had set up to do.
I am a native of Fort Worth and was in town for one night. This hotel is awful. I stay in hotels more than 100 nights per year. The hotel promised a king bed and had none. The insolent woman at the counter did not care. I placed the breakfast menu on the door and no one collected it. This pretentious hotel was once a destination. It is now poorly managed with an insulting staff. Ed Bass deserved better as a centerpiece of Sundance. I will never stay there again and warn others.
Everything was great after they finally sent a tech that knew what he was doing to fix the AC! Good hotel, I will give it another try when I'm back in Cowtown !
Staff were 'Texas-friendly' and had helpful tips for the out-of-towner. The hotel is well located in downtown Fort Worth and very easy to use. It is not so much a problem for the FW Hilton rather Fort Worth downtown is quiet on a Sunday and public transport not a strong feature of the city. Visitors should plan for private car use (hire) and parking costs factored in their travel plans.
Overall one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The location was perfect for the weekend away and was close to the restraunts we wanted to eat at.
Location They took 70 dollars from my account for no reason did not tell me up front that was going to be the process. It is unfair and unprofessional for a business to take money that is not owed
The staff was helpful beyond what I expected. The shuttle service was fast and safe. Excellent experience.
The breakfast was well put together and the staff was very helpful. The presentation in the lobby was quite inviting and warm which gave us a very good first impression Upon entering the room, the first thing that struck us was the janky contraption that was installed to mount the TV to the wall. It was crooked and seemingly very unstable. My son and daughter slept on the pull out bed directly underneath the contraption which not only caused me to worry for their safety but also was a source of frustration as the blue and green. glow of the system lights kept the room aglow all night. I finally put a shirt over the lights to reduce the glow. The walls were unfortunately paper thin and we were awoken multiple times throughout the night by patrons walking down the hall having moderate too loud conversations. There was also a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so light poured in all night until I place rolled-up towels in front of the door. The next morning as we walked down the hallways to the elevator, it was very noticeable that many of the door jambs a long hallway had been bumped into you, bang and were in general disrepair. I'm not sure if Marriott purchase this property recently and is in the process of renovating it, but it looks like it could use some TLC.
