The bath tub and the size and cleanliness of the bathroom was amazing. The staff was as friendly as humanly possible (or a tad more). The breakfast was really good and included in the price. The location was great too! The value for the price was insanely good!
The carpet floor, and the fact that the door had huge gaps around it when closed (letting some light through and sounds). The parking was a little more complex than expected as one needs to purchase vouchers rather than just paying in the street. This makes parking difficult if you driving alone.
Great guest house. Lovely staff. Would always recommend!
Liked having cooked breakfast and vegetarian options
Coffee was too weak. Had run out of gluten free bread. (Oatcakes on offer would have been a good emergency plan in this case). And had run out of brown bread.
An amazing place Rooms brand spanking new. Comfortable beds and pleasant staff.
The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Parking was no problem. (The hotel has no designated parking, but ample street parking was available, and it was easy and convenient to purchase parking vouchers from the hotel.) The bathroom was insane. The ratio of bedroom to bathroom space is literally 1:1. I'm assuming that these were at one time dormitory suites, with a shared bath on each floor? Faced, I imagine, with increased customer demand for en-suite rooms, the hotel developer evidently decided to say damn the torpedoes and just convert half the rooms into bathrooms. Huge tub. The largest shower I have ever seen. Amazing.
