Pros:The staff were very nice. Easy access off of 101, walking distance to the ocean and places to eat.
Cons:Needs to be updated, pretty rundown Cleaner, debris under the bed, black mold looking, "stuff" between the toilet tank and toilet bowl. The room was very hot Lock on the door was broken, had to prop a chair under the door handle. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee.

Pros:View, private balcony with jet tub, gas woodstove.
Cons:Pool and hot tub closed. Run down, stained and dirty. Many broken and missing items. Only 2 rooms booked that night and they put us directly next to one another. No hot luxury breakfast as advertised...no biscuits and gravy, no waffles, they had both these items on previous visits. The lobby and breakfast room has strong mildew smell. We've stayed here many times over the years, it gets worse with each visit....this will be our last time.

Pros:Easy access off of Highway 101, great parking, friendly staff, clean rooms, great balcony, nice ocean view.
Cons:Ocean view is not ocean front, so you are looking over another building. You can still see the ocean and the beach, you just have to be careful about taking pictures so you do not include the other buildings roofline, which is pretty easy.

Pros:Proximity to the beach - that's it
Cons:Room was hot - no a/c, so we had to sleep with the sliding door open. Lock on sliding door didn't work, but they did provide a small stick to block it with. Room smelled bad like they tried to cover the damp smell with a cleanser smell - it was weird. Hot tub looked really bad - we didn't risk it. There is a significant amount of wood rot on the exterior of this place. they need to get a carpenter out there asap. They probably should knock it down and start over.

Pros:Very little
Cons:Room was dated and smelt. Carpet stained. The shower didn't work and we had to walk down to another room. While I don't expect 5 star accomodation in small towns, this place had a three star and it would be equivalent to cheap motel. That is one star at best. So I am surprised it has good reviews as this is the worst hotel I have stayed in since backpacking as a college student. Unfortunately as we had no alternative for the night we had to stay. On the plus side it was good for my son to see how good he has it!

Pros:I loved the free upgrade to ocean view and the shirt walk directly to the beach was amazing, breakfast was OK had waffles fruit muffins danish bagels the usual continental, the staff was very nice.
Cons:The exterior of the building is old and in need of updating and it looks like they've started some work.
