Pros: The staff was friendly. Decoration was great.
Cons: Mechanic facial treatment had only little of mechanical treatment. Breakfast was a bit lame incording our kids.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was clean and the location is nice. Also SPA facilities were nice!
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t great, for example bread was always a bit dried up. Also bed wasn’t very comfortable to sleep in - one big mattress was put over two smaller beds.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was ok, selection was fair... not poor. not excessive. only thing I was missing was a fridge in the room. useful for many reasons.
Cons: only thing I was missing was a fridge in the room. useful for many reasons. no elevator, missed it because of sore pelvis. had to carry luggage to upstairs.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfortable, and the spa area was nice. I also appreciated free parking and we ate super delicious dinner at the Luu restaurant. Staff was really friendly during the whole stay.
Cons: The facilities are outdated and we could hear everything from the rooms next to us, walls being thin as paper. We didn’t like the spa rule, that kids under 15 years could not enter spa after 6pm. It could be after 8pm.
Viimsi Manor Guesthouse Birgitta - Haabneeme - Building
3
8.3 Excellent (671 reviews)
C$ 44+
Overview Reviews
Viimsi Manor Guesthouse Birgitta is a small hotel in the historical Viimsi Manor, as well as a party venue. It is located 10 km from the centre of Tallinn and 1 km from the sea and a white, sandy beach. The Viimsi Manor Guesthouse Birgitta is located in the converted attic of Viimsi Peokeskus. The restaurant Cocodrillo is located on the ground floor and specializes in Italian food. In the summer the guests can have their meals on an open terrace. Viimsi Manor sometimes arranges parties that may last over night. The nearest store and a bus station is a 3-minute drive away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful check in staff. Good position. It is actually 10 km away from city center, but it is perfectly connected with public bus. No need to move the car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice cozy room with fireplace, liked it
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beatiful surroundings, old classic interiors design, friendly stuff...cocodrillo restaurant - amazing place
Cons: Garbage under the bad
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The overall feeling was very comfortable and cozy. Everything needed was there. A good recommendation!
Cons: No negative feedback.
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is within 15 minutes walking from the beach and the centre of Tallinn is just a short bus ride away. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walking from the hotel. The hotel is located on a beautiful and quiet spot in a park and has an excellent kitchen with a good choice for everyone's taste. The rooms are a bit basic but are clean and offer sufficient comfort.
Cons: This hotel seems in the first place a party centre and only in the second place a hotel. The rooms are located right above the party hall, so you won't sleep early if there is a party going on. Also the staff, though friendly and helpful, needed some reminders to replace the shampoo sachets in the bathroom and to put bedlinen on the extra bed that we requested in our room.
7.2 Good
Pros: Great location, in a park, just a few kilometres from the city centre, which is easy to get to from the Hotel, albeit a walk of 10 minutes to get to public transport to take you to the city. Outstanding food in an impressive restaurant, and extremely helpful, accomodating, and friendly staff. I will definately use the Hotel if visiting the city again.
Cons: Beware if there is a function taking place in the function room, which is beneath the bedrooms. There were functions on both nights I stayed (Friday and Saturday), but fortunately they both ended around midnight.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good experience great property
9.0 Excellent
Cons: No complete hygiene in the Sauna, turkish bath and pool area; many guests who are using the sauna don't use towels - the sweat finishes directly on the wood! The turkish bath has no running water to clean the sitting area! Some guests jumped into the pool after the sauna without taking a shower; there are no guidelines and signages for guests and there is not enough surveillance of this situation by hotel staff members.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was up to 5 star rank I liked their room-service Cheeseburger Very nice spa & swimming pool
Cons: There was a coffee machine issue Entrance door was flaking a bit. The other hotel is blocking view on old town. Otherwise true 5 star experience

Pros: The design of the room was nice. Breakfast was okay.
Cons: Didn't received fresh towels every day. Room was very small Needed to wash the glases by the own. No closet in the room. Room was not the cheapest. Expection was much higher. I would recomend it, if the price was lower. Payed 273 Euros for 4 nights. There where cheaper opportunities in town.
6.0 Good
Pros: Lobby bar is great.
Cons: Appareantly the top floors air conditioning does not work. While they have signs telling you how to turn them on and off, they are there just for ??? Receptionist told me as much. Just use radiators that are behind blinding curtains. So heat doesn't reach your room. Signs of wear and tear.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Excellent location in old town tallinn, with lots of great restaurants, bars, and sight-seeing nearby. Pretty nice accommodations inside the room, with new paint, a hot shower, minibar with fridge space for a few things of your own, etc. Staff is super helpful, and was great to call a cab for me, print boarding passes, etc.
Cons: For our room, we swiped our cards and entered at ground level but the actual room was up some private stairs on the next level, meaning we had no choice but to carry all our luggage up a pretty narrow and steep flight of stairs; no elevator. We had a queen bed, and is the case in many low-cost european hotels, this is really two twin beds stuck together with a bridging pad. Not a huge issue, but it is not as comfortable as the real deal. Worse was the fact that the comforter was also two very small comforters rather than a single large blanket, which made the blanket wars particularly fierce. The rooms are also pretty cold. We froze our butts off the first night with the heater on max before discovering a space heater in the wardrobe, which we subsequently ran on max to keep it 72ish in the room. Probably our biggest complaint was the breakfast. It is much lower quality food than you will find at comparably priced hotels elsewhere, i.e. the cold cuts won't include any smoked salmon or fancier cheeses, and the meat is like budget processed deli ham versus salami and quality cold cuts. Croissants and similar items are available but are lower quality than in the other hotels we stayed in. And worst of all, the amount of seating in the breakfast room is totally inadequate. They had about 7 tables, and there were frequently 20+ people eating, meaning that we all had to share tables with strangers and were constantly bumping into one another when we got up for coffee or whatever. This is a fine hotel, but we won't stay here again.
6.0 Good
Cons: Very smelly bathroom
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is nice, breakfast was good
Cons: I had asked for one bed and we got a room with two separate beds. We later asked the nightahift girl, who was not the one to give us keys,if there was maybe anything that coudld be done and she was quite rude, but ended offering am extra blanket. On the next morning another reception girl was there who immedeatly helped us recieve this extra mattress. She was amazing and friendly. But the rude nightshoft girl really could have been a bit friendlier.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is placed in the heart of the old town, but it is close to the stations of the public transportation (tram, bus, trolley, railway) and it was very quiet at this time by day and night . The internal look seems to be very traditional and freehand style with lots of wood. There is a restaurant in the basement floor with a lot of local food and drink. The staff was very friendly and nice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, tea and coffee in the room, full mini bar, clean and nice. Great location.
Cons: Room is quite small. I was staying alone and my room was upgraded from single to double, but double room still was small and felt enough just for one person. Also not too keen on wet room instead of the usual shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Very helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
6.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was nice and it s a quite hotel
Cons: The room was small

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always a pleasant stay
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Tha Lobby area is very nice and dining area as well on the first floor The other floors where not open for visitors as I understood The view to the city is really nice from the room
Cons: In my opinion this hotel needs renovation about everything that is above the lobby area - especially floors where are the rooms for visitors who choose to stay in this hotel
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was very clean and nice. The manager handled my concern about the parking very well and in a professional manner. Very good price/value.
Cons: The night clerk misled me about the parking opportunities at check-in - the hotel option of 20 EUR/24 h is a good deal for drive-in/drive-out, but it was too expensive for just night parking (alternative was 3 EUR). The breakfast is very basic - all buffet wrapped in plastic (thanks, COVID), very limited offering.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was spacious, clean, comfortable, view was great, baby cot was free or charge, excellent service by all the staff, beautiful hotel in general. Sad we didn't get to try the spa and amenities, stupid virus!
Cons: Bathtub was dusty, needed a bit of cleaning before filing. It's understandable that rooms have been unoccupied for a while due to the virus, but we're still talking about a 5 star hotel Dinner wasn't good, despite the 25% discount, I was sold on the stone oven pizza and my wife got the duck. Not bad, not good either, 3,6 stars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stay there 2-3 timwe a year always a perfect visit. Rooms a clean and comfortable, food is excellent and location superb. I enjoy the stay everytime.
Cons: Elevator is a bit slow but that is realy not a major issue.

Pros: The hotel was completely empty due to COVID-19. Security measures were followed. Polite and friendly staff did their best to make me feel comfortable. Everything worked as it should in such challenging times, everything I needed was there, except of course the buffet breakfast. Very comfortable and relaxed stay. Recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place to stay. All aspects of hotel very nice. Staff was outstanding in helping out with major travel issue encountered by one of our group.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location just behind the Old Town but still in walking distance. Very good breakfast even breakfast room is a bit small during rush hour. Room with Sauna was great!
Cons: Extra bed for a kid was really small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room and breakfast
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean business fourstar, with nice bathrooms, big bathtub and a comfy bed. Liked the breakfasts. Rooms facing the yard totally quiet. Staff was young and helpful.
Cons: The only point I did not understand was the hotel restaurant L'Ermitage, which is not in par with the hotel. In a four star hotel, they somehow try to do a five star haute couisine. They even don't serve draft beer. But no worries, You can run away, within meters to each direction from the hotel, you can find very nice places, tapas bar, pub or reasonable restaurant. But a stylish and modern restaurant with a bar would be so much more pleasant than this "we-pretend-to-be-Paris" thing!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, 3min wall from Alexander Nevski cathedral and the Parliament.
Cons: We were asked to pay for the parking, the facilities are a little worn out (plates in the restaurant and surfaces in the room are all visibly scratched), breakfast quite humble and the staff a little disinterested, overall not great value for money.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Decent price
Cons: Not in the heart of everything

Pros: Great location, good breakfasts, great pools.
Cons: Old and lumpy pillows, smelly room. Noisy if facing Aia street.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious with a nice view of the old city. The staff was helpful and it provided useful tips. I also enjoyed having dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Lastly, the location is excellent.
Cons: The swimming pool was crowded
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with friendly staff and incredibly tasty cottage cheese with cranberries for breakfast!
7.0 Good
Pros: Very good location, walking distance from the Old Town. The spa and pool have lots of services and spaces, coming very handy especially for families.
Cons: The cleaning could use an upgrade, same as some of the staff's attitude. We asked for a cot in the room and it was there, but obviously stained (besides being long time used, with visible wear and tear and an overused mattress). Upon calling the front desk, the cot was replaced by frowing personnell. In the bathroom, on the sink and on the floor there was a pile of dust. After the room was cleaned, the pile was still there.
6.0 Good
Pros: Spa, location.
Cons: No room cleaning at sunday. Crew not friendly, no smiling, small room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What exceeded my expectations was the beautiful view from the restaurant, the fairly large gym with a truly proper equipment and the exceptionally spacious swimming pool with plenty of lanes for everyone. Highly recommend.
Cons: Truly the only thing to mention is around breakfast and the eggs - lack of scrambled eggs and the boiled eggs were poorly boiled as it's rather challenging to remove the shell and it often comes off with the egg itself.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Spa is good
Cons: Rooms a bit small, housekeeping staff not very thorough with cleaning and towel replacement

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Very clean and comfy hotel. Absolutely nice place to stay!
Cons: Restaurant and SPA were closed because of the covid19. Sad but understandable
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is ideally located for exploring Tallinn old town: it is literally less than five minutes walk from Toompea Hill, where the old town is located. The so-called "new town" (still old ...) is another ~5minutes' walk. It is located in a historical building, which has been renovated and has a cozy, "British club"-style atmosphere. I did not try the spa for lack of time. Breakfast is good, fresh and plentiful! Staff in general are very helpful. One caveat: if you travel with (lively) kids, it might not be the ideal place.
Cons: I had a room at the third floor in the attic, which I very much enjoyed. However, it has only a window in the roof. So if you want to enjoy the view outside, you might want to ask for another room. For me, it was fine.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good facilities, nice restaurants on site with good food. I would happily stay here again. Spa facilities were small but clean, I went to the public spa.
Cons: A bit of a walk from old town and most of the sites but not too far. Public transport makes getting around easy (can tap your credit card so little hassle).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and lounge for drinks. Staff also very pleasant and courteous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. I always choose this hotel for my trips to Tallinn.
Cons: Cleaning. Glasses not washed, hair in the bath tub.

Pros: Very convenient location, 10-minute walf from the ferry terminal and just in front of a tram stop which is a crossing for all tram line, including the one going directly to the airport, and just outside the old city walls. We got a large comfortable room with a full window wall so sunny and bright. The con side is that it was overlooking the big avenue and you can hear traffic distinctly, but there is not much traffic at night so this was OK. Big bathroom with bathtube (but it was leaking and if you want to have a bath, you need to continually refill the tube). Fridge in the room. Excellent buffet breakfast, but sometimes a bit crowded.
Cons: there is a sauna, separate for men & women, and a steam bath but this one is not male/female separated, so I didn't try it (didn't have a bathing suit); it is a pity that there is not a quiet place to rest after the sauna; and as the changing room is common with the pool, it is quite busy and noisy. When we arrived, we couldn't check in as there was no power at our floor due to some maintenance work; it was OK as we could leave our luggage at the reception and go for a walk in the city.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the old feel of this hotel with wooden beams and exposed bricks, carpeted and lovely paintings all over the corridors, it feels like living in a past era but everything is awesome. The breakfast was a really good buffet spread in a daily room with chandeliers and paintings... feels like Russian hotel decoration. Our room is big and have a window overlooking a rooftop with falling snow on our first night there. It is a very short 10min walk to the to town centre with the xmas markets and medieval restaurants.... please go visit the restaurant just below the town hall and order every thing in the menu... the ribs, sausages, soup, pies. Just book this hotel.
6.0 Good
Pros: Good location, interesting building.
Cons: The room was really small and cramped (standard room). The breakfast was not very good.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a good stay. But as my boyfriend and I have already visited other places we expected the receptionist (who welcomed us) be a bit communicative. He didn’t inform us about place where we will have breakfast and how long it lasts. As the hotel is quite big, it was hard to find everything at first. Food was good, there where meet, eggs, vegetables, some fruits, coffee, tea, bread. Nothing too much. Think next we’ll stay somewhere else because the walls are really thin, we could here other talking or even walking near our room. So, it wasn’t that comfortable. However, room was really clean and location is perfect. I liked the architecture of hotel. Besides, bed is comfortable, shower (who prefers it) was big, comfortable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and nice, the atmosphere was very interesting in a good way and overall the stay was very positive!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Generally speaking, the price is reasonable and the location is really good. Besides, the bathroom is smelly sometimes. The air inside is not so fresh. But the cleaning is good enough.
Cons: The hotel staff at the front desk is very cool. They don't have any hospitalities and not so helpful. The breakfast is so so. Just the coffee beans, oranges, muesli and yoghurt are good, but the rest of food is really simple.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Room was clean, but very worn out. The building was old, so if you like horror films or dangerous architecture, this is your place! There really is nothing else to like about this hotel and I am being generous.
Cons: I had to change hotels due to violation of sense of security. Room was cleaned despite the request not to enter the room. Toilet flushing malfunctioned and was never fixed unless you count a worker coming and pressing the buttons couple times and giving a thumbs up on still broken toilet. Hotel staff keeps smoking in front of the main entrance and is more interested in chitchatting that giving customer service. Room was also hot, but the building is old so...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Medieval feel of the hotel, walls showing original stone cladding. Plenty of TV channels to choose from. Great location and neighborhood.
Cons: No kettle, tea/coffee in the room.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of this hotel is very good. In the center of Tallinn Our room was small, but we had excellent town view. Room was clean.. As for breakfast, it was testy enough.. I can recommend hotel St Olaf
