In need of upgrade
Location was good and the bar had a very active crowd.
Even the house magazine stated that the rooms needed refurbishment which is apparently planned for some time in the future. The bedroom we had on the third floor was small and the furniture chipped and well worn.
Poor bar cover Dirty unatractive bathroom, air out take fan clogged with dust & skin.
Spacious, central, excellent parking facility
Single room very poor condition and of much inferior quality to that of double.
Central and easy access to town. Private parking
Lacking atmosphere especially at breakfast time
Bar staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room 310 far too small ! Suffocating ! More minor points were no soap in container above sink. Didn't get requested alarm call or newspaper on first morning - computer programme blamed. Although quite friendly, receptionist on Sunday morning very agitated and obviously sadly appeared to be quite out of control, resulting in everyone in the queue shaking their heads.
I didn't enjoy my stay at the White Hart Hotel. My room was cold and most night I was absolutely freezing even with all the blankets on. On the first morning there was no hot water on shower and the draining system made horrible squak noise all the time when shower was on.
The hotel is very convenient and it is nice to be able to park so close.
The slope to the car park was very slippy and could have done with some grit. The bathroom was cold, the picture on the television was very poor.
conveinience to town
needs upgrading bathroom poor room cold
Polish waiter lovely
We liked the location of the hotel very much, very central. the hotel itself was great as were the rooms.
Queuing for breakfast in the morning as several things for hot breakfast had run out and my elderly father is not capable of standing for long periods so I had to do it for him and also for me.
Staff-very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Room - fine. Breakfast - excellent. Would recommend to others.
Collection by Best Western blends a contemporary outlook with the medieval tradition of the city of Lincoln, best highlighted by the beautiful cathedral that towers over the hotel. As a result, guests are treated to stunning views of the grounds or the cathedral from most of the guestrooms. All rooms are en-suite, each furnished with air conditioning, flat-screen tv and a comfortable sitting area. Meanwhile, the hotel restaurant has become a local favourite, presenting a delicious menu in relaxed setting. Bar 67, with its wooden-beamed cellar appearance, is a fun place to enjoy a drink. The hotel also has excellent business infrastructure, with two meeting rooms available on the ground floor, which can accommodate up to 50 people; complimentary wireless internet and audio-visual equipment help cater to the needs of corporate groups. Private dining can be arranged for smaller groups.
Policies vary by room type and provider.
