10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. A slightly more extensive breakfast menu maybe, but that's only something very small! :)
Cons: My only issue was the heat of the rooms at night without a fan or air con. We kept the door open, so that helped, but everything else was great.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: A lot.. Especially the owner. If you're looking to have a break in a hotel ran by a snobbish, arrogant owner, then this is the place to go.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: After my first stay at this hotel I wrote " this is a place where we will gladly return" And now I can confirm, it was a pleasant return indeed.

Pros: The whole experience was perfect! It's a lovely town to wander around and within driving distance of lots of possible hikes in the mountains. I think there are also some easier hikes within walking distance. Breakfast was amazing - such a relaxing experience spending the morning in the dining room and really delicious scrambled eggs and coffee! Doris was really helpful when we had questions about what to do nearby.

Pros: Room was decent and spacious, clean, location close to Hartberg town. Parking was outside of the guesthouse just in the street. Is not so bad but not so great. I will not come back for sure.
Cons: Staff was not friendly, very focus and to their self. I had problems in communicating in English. It became a big problem when I requested and iron to iron my clothes. The staff seem not to know where it was and when found they just put it out in another hall without informing. Breakfast was not really exciting very basic, nice cereals, bread choice was limited, fruits were poor. Breakfast was until 10am hrs however on my last day the breakfast closed earlier nevertheless a staff member manage to served me breakfast based on what was available so I had no choice but to eat what the staff choose for me.

Pros: Lovely family running this place, excellent location with own parking, superb local cooking, great attention to detail, very comfortable rooms.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is located exactly on the center plaza of Hartberg and during our stay there was a local Fire Department Carnival. Being in the center you are part of the events, where on the next day there was a local farm market (vegetables, cheese, different types of salami and meat) where you see how well organized everything is moving from one event to the other. The place itself is with a great history and a lot of historical buildings. People around are very friendly and welcoming. Our hosts were excellent, as we were constantly traveling due to the Formula 1 GP, we were often coming late, however when our host was notified, he always made sure we have a table in the restaurant with cold beer and delicious food waiting for us. The rooms were very well designed, spacious and very well maintained. Always clean and very comfortable. You have everything that you need. I was surprised that there were no air conditioners, however due to the position of Hartberg, being in the mountains we never felt the need for an air conditioner (We stayed end of June where elsewhere temperature was 33 C). For those that will stay there during the winter, there is a very good heating in the rooms as well as induction heating in the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very delicious, the organization of the kitchen is very well done as everything we ordered was served in a matter of minutes and was fresh and tasty. The included breakfast was on a buffet style starting from 6:30 in the morning till 10AM which was great for people like us that had to wake up early and travel to another city. We were able to have a breakfast and a morning coffee to energies before we leave for the F1. There were different types of food, which includes serials, yogurt, fruits, jam, different bread, honey, butter, home made cake, juices, fresh, different types of ham and salami along with different type of cheese, salad, egg. Never run out of food. Private parking provided!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. The hosts own the place for many many years and they know how to provide excellent customer service. Currently they are 6th generation owning the place and running the family business, therefore you can fully rely on their professionalism and a friendly vibe.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff and delicious food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed sheets are very nice. The room is very modern. The owner is very friendly.
Cons: The bed cushions are very uncomfortable. The trash can in the bathroom was not emptied.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: very kind staff, great wifi connection
