Pros: Knowledgeable friendly staff. Great location for cycling and walking.
Pros: The position and local town surroundings. Happy reception. Food was good standard.
Cons: Food & drink service in garden was very poor. Had to go to the bar myself twice because of long wait.
Pros: Everything and everyone
Pros: Large, spacious family room with sofas and a balcony - extremely comfortable for the four of us. Well located for an overnight stop between Belgium and Austria, easy to find and only a couple of minutes from the motorway. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean and beautifully fitted out. Overall verdict: excellent!
Pros: Lovely friendly family run hotel in small tourist town. Excellent evening meal with local wine. Great walking in the woods and hills nearby.
Pros: Very good breakfast selection. Excellent evening meals with smaller portions on some dishes which suits us ( at cheaper cost). Have stayed there a few times and greeted almost like friends.
Cons: The evening we eat in the restaurant was their busiest evening of the year, a special festival in town. This meant we had too long a wait for our main course, to be fair this has not happened ever before.
Pros: Large light bedroom with balcony and comfortable chairs.
Cons: Single beds in rooms do not pull apart and are therefore in effect a double but with separate mattresses.
Pros: Real scrabbled egg at breakfast buffet - no artificial egg as on other places
Pros: Great as a stópover between Austria and Calais
Cons: Great as a stópover between Austria and Calais
Pros: The Zum Ochsen has been owned by the same family for 125 years. The entire family works in the hotel, they are hands on and clearly take a pride in what the do. Very friendly, spotlessly clean, lovely food and wines.

Pros: Welcome was good, bedroom large and comfortable. We used the restaurant which was nice but the menu could have been a little more varied. We travelled with two dogs and this wasn't an issue. Unfortunately we didn't get to look at the surrounding area and we were on a tight schedule.
Cons: Bathroom a little dated but fine.
Pros: What an amazing hotel! The room was clean and reasonable size with big windows and a good view. The restaurant evening meal was delicious and high quality with friendly and efficient service. The price was not cheap, but acceptable for the quality and style. The breakfast was very good with everything you'd want and well presented. Parking is off road. The area felt save. Although we used this place just as stopover I believe it would be a good base to explore from. Wifi was good.
Cons: The shower felt a little dated and the door wouldn't close properly.

Pros: Breakfast was OK
Cons: Reception wasn't open when I arrived at around 2030 hrs. It wasn't made very clear what I had to do - but eventually I worked out to contact the bar staff at the bar. The restaurant had stopped serving food at 2000 hrs which was a real disappointment as I chose this hotel from Booking.com expressly because it had one. I had been travelling 800 KM and thought that at least I would be able to get something to eat at the restaurant - but no - this wasn't possible. I did not want to go out again after travelling all that way.
Pros: It was very good..
Pros: The staff working the night we checked in were really friendly and helpful! We came back from dinner and the bar was closed but the guy still helped us out and let us buy a bottle of some of the regional wine to take back up to our room!
Cons: The room was very very warm, and the heat was turned off and there were no windows you could open in the room we had, only the balcony door.
Pros: We come at 3am and they saved the key of my room. So I can go straight to sleep. I really liked this arrangement, because their check in is until 6pm. Room was nicer then expected. Breakfast was ok, nothing special though.
Pros: The staff were friendly and the pool was nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect.
Cons: The pillows which were a little uncomfortable. And the toilet fan was loud. I was kept awake by the fan in the next room.
Cons: To eat at the restaurant you have to order it earlier, just to sit in and eat is not possible. The same with breakfast. Else the place is OK.
Pros: Very good value for the money.
Pros: Great Bar And restaurant..Friendly staff!
Pros: Beautiful room. Restaurant on site which supplied buffet evening meal. There was a buffet breakfast which was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely.
