The 5-th floor terrasse with beautiful view (sea and city walls). The space in the room. Other reviewers have complained about the noise, but at the 3th floor window & store closed, it was no problem for me.
The weakness of the global artificial lighting in the room (not comfortable to read except lying on the bed...)
The service was pleasing and the accomodation was comfortable.
Nothing we did not like.
I arrived late and could not get a taxi from the port. I called reception and they arranged it for me very quickly which was much appreciated. The service was excellent and the room was large and comfortable.
The location is a bit loud and busy so not entirely good if you are looking for a quiet night's sleep.
The restaurant food was first class
The hotel was good located and it was confortable. The personnel was friendly and the room and the badroom were big enough.
Little details were not improved, as the light in the badroom or the doors of the rooms. It seems to be an old hotel, renovated and definetly clean kept. The outside facade needs some improvement, but at this time, it seems that most of the houses of Heraklion need paint.
