10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host and hostess were welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. The B&B is gorgeously decorated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent; the (very friendly and relaxed) hostess served a three-course breakfast, after which you could continue with a large variety of bread and things to put on it. It made me feel like a king! The room we had breakfast in overlooked the backyard, which has a river running through it. There is also a nice sauna which you can use, and you may peek in every book (art, readables, whatever ypu like) you can find. The beds were neatly made, in a small but not too smaal room with a nice small bathroom (that smelled nice), including a nice shower. Nothing fancy, but practical and very neat. You may come and go as you like, and we did, since it immediately felt like our 'home' for two days.
Cons: The lighting in the room could be more subtle (dimmable?), not that it really bothered but there's my suggestion of improvement. Oh, yes, if you're a frequent phone-user: the reception is poor, but that is logical since you're in a valley...the WiFi workt perfectly however,

Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best B&B you can imagine. Breakfast is truly exceptional. Perfect welcome with a local liquor. Friendly hosts. Nice garden with Jacuzzi and sauna. Quiet room. Close to the center of Houffalize and several great hikes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are warm and open people me and my husband enjoyed our time there. It was actually the best b&b experience we ever had! For our 3 day stay each morning we were getting a custom breakfast which was carefully prepared by the owners:) excellent in taste too! Additionally we got advices about the hiking routes and could enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi after we came back from them! We sure we would love to come back there in the future! Highly recommend for travellers from all over the world!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The general area is really relaxing, the outlook on the river running past the backyard is beautiful. The house is well taken care of and just beautiful situated. We didn't go hiking but another couple was there at the same time as us and all they were doing was hiking, so it is well situated for that. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and spa, and I truly enjoyed the superb breakfast created by Hildegard. Wish we could have stayed longer to relax further.
Cons: Depending on the day of the week you roll in, you may find your dinner options in the area are a bit limited. We missed out on the apparently marvellous local cuisine by a day sadly! (we were there on a Tuesday!) But that doesn't mean you can't find food within walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, quiet spot with private parking and a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants. The hosts are lovely people and offer an extremely warm welcome. Rooms and facilities are excellent and attention to detail is second to none. Highly reccomended, will definitely book again.
Cons: Nothing, perfect stay. We were a party of 6 and everyone loved it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Étienne is an excellent cook, our mango smoothie, a little amuse bouche of cheese and nuts, followed by salmon and egg en croute for breakfast exceeded any expectations. And still there was the yogurt and fruit and cheese and meat and bread. Wow!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience was relaxed. Chilled. The most beautiful setting. Gourmet breakfast, the owners are friendly and welcoming. The whole place was spotlessly clean and inviting.
Cons: No TV nor Kettle in room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in the nature, room view to the forest. Comfortable beds and great breakfast. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Les Alisiers is fabulously located on the outskirts of the small village of Nadrin and perfect for exploring the Ardennes, and close to some great attractions. The setting is very quiet and the accommodation is spacious and very nicely done. There is safe parking, lovely grounds, a sunny terrace to enjoy a drink and it s only a short walk into the village which, surprisingly, has a good range of restaurants to suit all pockets. Our choice ( the mid range one facing you as you walk to the junction in the village centre) was very good and very reasonably priced. Back at Les Alisiers, the breakfast was another highlight with plenty of options including choice of cooked eggs. Overall this is a delightful place to stay if you want peace and quiet but with modern refinements.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing that we would change. 10/10!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful setting.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Big, comfortable room and lovely clean bathroom. Nice breakfast. Very kind and friendly hosts!
Cons: The room was a bit cold, took some time to warm up, perhaps because of poor insulation?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a great B&B in the heart of the Ardennes. The owners were more than helpful and provide a great breakfast. We had a large room with a great view across the valley. There are a number of walks from the village including a couple that go past Les Alisiers to the river below, as well as many places to visit in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and great breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This might sound a bit exaggerated but believe me it’s not; I’ve never had such a fresh and lovely breakfast anywhere in Europe before. Owners are very welcoming. Accommodation itself is cozy and charming.
Cons: None.

Cons: Nothing at all
5.5 Okay
Pros: The region. The WiFi worked very well. It was quiet.
Cons: Not at all "Pittoresque"! No parking, many stairs to climb before you enter the house, no WC in the room or bath room, very small bathroom with a very small washbasin without plug that would rather expect in a toilet, breakfast OK but by no means something special as described on their website

Pros: This is a large, fairly modern hotel in a beautiful location within a ten minute walk of a pretty village with bars, restaurants etc. The rooms are large and comfortable and there is plenty of parking at no extra cost. Excellent wifi. The breakfast is well organised and plentiful.
Cons: There seemed to be too few staff in the bars and a la carte restaurant, although the food was very good the service was a bit haphazard.

Pros: location and breakfast was very good
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice quite location. Garage parking for motorcycles although €5.00 a bay but that takes three bikes.
Cons: Too busy with families as it was school holidays. Food, especially breakfast not that good compared to other hotels used on this trip.

Cons: Some of the staff on the reception and in the restaurant looked exhausted (sometimes)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location.
Cons: The restaurant Lounge & Dine was a dissapointment. The 'vegan' options on the menu are not vegan but vegetarian. I think they were understaffed because I had to do my best to get the attention and place my orders. The food (penne with vegetables) were tasteless.

It is situated in a beautiful natural surroundings along a small romantic road which links Houffalize Laroche en Ardenne with a garden overlooking the river Ourthe. The accommodation has a famous restaurant called Le Bistro des Saveurs, where the Chef prepares excellent fish specialities, mushrooms from the forests, asparagus and game of the season. There are gourmet weekends as well as options for half board. The hotel has a nice terrace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top breakfast: perfectly fresh fruit, fine assortment of breads & sweets, excellent coffee (no over-the-top sausages, scrambled powdered eggs, etc.)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Just outside of Bastogne. A huge Room for four adults for a great price. Very classy and close enough with a car to really appreciate Bastogne. And the Breakfast was a typical amazing European Breakfast.
Cons: Too far to walk to the town. But that's not the hotel's fault.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the location is very nice, especially for bikers, breakfast was very good, as was dinner. the bathroom is very good.
Cons: The rooms are noisy.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything was good
Cons: For the price the rooms were a tad small.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit. We came as a couple for its convenient access to the highway, its quiet setting, and the reliably good food. We were not disappointed on any of these accounts. By chance this was a Monday evening when they had their set menu based on chef recommendations ... it was very good and the fixed price for all drinks (wine, water, after dinner tea/coffee) made it very good value.
Cons: Our particular room (#8) seemed small for a couple and barely adequate for 1 night. To our tastes, the beds were also too firm.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location and scenery.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Good location with ample parking although it's a bit hairy getting out of the car park!
Cons: Very small room - expensive for the facilities. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and we therefore felt rushed into our poky room. Our small room was at the back of the hotel and our only view was that of a gas tank! Internet was not working and no-one seemed at all interested in helping out or trying to rectify the situation. Breakfast was served from 8.30am and we asked for an earlier time but were told they would not do earlier than at 8am. We decided to leave @ 7.45am and couldn't raise anyone. We noticed that other customers had checked out early and just left their keys on a desk. This was not a good experience for us and bearing in mind we had stayed in a whole range of hotels during the last week whilst travelling Europe, this was definitely the poorest and most expensive!
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely location. Good food. Brilliant attentive staff.
Cons: The room was quite cramped and the toilet/bathroom door is 2 foot away from the bed at most. Could have been hot food for breakfast instead of normal layout seeing as this is a Michelin awarded hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant and staff were fantastic and the location was very beautiful

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was really nice and it was quiet.
Cons: A lot of things were not working when we were there. The sauna, the gym, the card machine, the WiFi ...
5.8 Okay
Pros: The food was fantastic. Both on the Saturday and the Monday we all had the chefs suggestion and it was superb.
Cons: The hotel was shut on Sunday no service, no bar, no tea and coffee. No WiFi for entire visit and forced to pay by cash so I had to get more than one thousand euro from the bank to cover the bill. This was not on the website when we booked and when I asked for a discount because of the no service the owner refused and said this was normal.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location was great and nice walks could be made straight from the door. The room was clean and the bed was fine.
Cons: Personnel was very unfriendly and seemed to be bothered by every question and with everything they needed to do for you. The room didn't have a real seating area as mentioned apart from one comfy chair. It wasn't an option to take a shower while standing straight up. The shower-head could not be connected to the wall and there was no shower-curtain. The pool wasn't opened despite the nice weather and the website mentioning it would be open. The sauna was €30 pp
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome hiking around the area
Cons: Facilities/furnature were up for replacement
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff went above and beyond to help me -- including going out to buy me pizza for dinner when I arrived late and hungry from hiking the Eisleck Trail.
6.3 Good
Cons: The restaurant was closed on Sunday evening. This was not mentioned when I booked and was the reason I booked this hotel. We had to pay cash as cards were not accepted due to lack of internet connectivity. Again this was not mentioned when we booked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts, great location, good food, nice bar, a pool. Met all my expectations for a great holiday.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: I didn't like being in an annex rather than the main building
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, right at the start of a hiking trail. Fantastic kind service from the owners, who were very flexible in meeting our requests and had good recommendations for food and drinks. Breakfast was good and they opened 45min early for us. Nice beers too. facilities are what I would expect at this level (3*). You do need a car to get around in the area of Belgium.
Cons: -
