10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, homely French château. Friendly welcome from our hosts and a delicious evening meal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chateau du Pin, 6 nights in total. Jeanluc and Marie France were perfect hosts for us and our 4 young children. Breakfast was delicious and dinner superb. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this place.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Exquisitely decorated and furnished small chateau (more a large house), with a charming and attentive host. Alas we were late in arriving and early in leaving and so could not fully enjoy its many charms, but the room was beautifully finished and with an exceptionally comfortable bed. If you wish to have dinner, order it when you book. The menu looks enticing.
Cons: Almost impossible to find if you do not have GPS as it's nowhere the village, and entering the zip code in your satnav will not get you there. A simple map sent out with the booking would easily solve the problem, but in the dark and with a host unused to giving directions on the telephone, it took nearly an hour to find in the dark. Not perhaps the best way to start your stay, especially after a seven-hour drive!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very comfortable and an enjoyable stay
Cons: We would have preferred to have a table for two for dinner and breakfast instead of sharing both with a French couple who although seemed very nice Proved hard work in a foreign language especially as we had travelled from uk and were very tired!

Pros: A truly warm welcome in a beautiful setting. Room was very comfortable and breakfast excellent

The breakfast included is fantastic, with homemade jams, croissants, pastries, crêpes and fruit salad. Marc and Christiane bend over backwards to make your stay more than pleasant and comfortable. If I could give a higher rating than 5/5 stars, I would!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really appreciated the ancient breton accomodation, well restored, clean and wide. The owners have been so kind and warm welcoming. Nice suprise: the breakfast with local breton products and crepes cooked directly for us. It sounds as to go and visit relatives in Bretonya. They make feel you part of the family.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good , missed having something hot such as eggs and bacon /sausage etc. . Parking was good a bit tight for large vehicles though and the view on the parking is re assuring. Staff very good, kind and helpful ,professional , noticed happy team all round.
Cons: The water pressure was low in my room (#427) had to stand along time to rinse off (both top and hand held shower ) and the water temperature was low as well. An extra blanket in the room would have been nice , instead of going to reception (which I didn't) too much of a bother.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, staff provide great services and the massages are awesome
Cons: The spa is kind of small
6.7 Good
Pros: My otherwise positive impression of this hotel was diminished by the staff’s unprofessional and unsupportive “help” with a pool of taxi drivers who, when assigned a fare by the hotel, STARTED meter charges at 500% of the posted standard fare. The reception staff misrepresented its willingness to help prevent future erroneous billing.
Cons: I cannot recommend this hotel and will not stay there again.

8.0 Excellent
Cons: The food was unpleasant and cold and lacked imagination
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for an overnight stop, near Rennes peripherique. For an holiday to be on an industrial estate might not compare with the riviera! The breakfast was a outstanding. Continental breakfast feast. Good on price and a respectable budget standard. I stayed with my brother and father - we shared a room with 3 single beds which shows versatility.
Cons: The bed was hard - good for your back so they say but I woke up with back ache. Sunday was run by a skeleton crew, limited menu of microwavable stuff. The beer and wine was still good and the few staff worked very hard.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good and the red wine with the evening meal was very good and not so expensive.
Cons: Reviews suggested the food was very good in the onsite restaurant. However there was a very limited menu and no alternative restaurants close by. Perhaps they were down a chef on the night as would have thought the choice would have been better. The wine was good though!

Cons: The information mentioned a "Studio". we got a normal room for 3 (double bed + extra bed) with the only difference of a mini kitchen embedded in one cabinet. This is not a studio. We asked additionally one extra small table as we planned to cook / eat and that was refused. We asked to arrive approx. 1-2 hour before the check-in time (to enter between 1pm-2pm instead of 3pm) - we were asked to pay 50% more! Very bad customer service

Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Well located, not far from center town and main train station. Practical with a private parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was excellent. We ended up staying for over a week, taking full advantage of what the hotel offered. The hotel was exceptionally clean. It was modern and very well designed.,having been built only two years ago. The spa was brilliant with a hammam, jacuzzi, massage jet pool, and Kusmi tea. The small fitness centre was excellent too. The room facilities were great with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows, Nespresso machine, Richard Comptoir tea, Evian water, make up mirror, and excellent view of a huge leafy tree. Our particular room had an enclosed balcony area with full height doors that open, creating a very nice indoor/outdoor effect. As great as everything was, the best thing about the hotel was the service. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They helped us find a local doctor, book taxis, and were happy to make us a complimentary coffee as we waited for a taxi on more than one occasion. We were able to borrow and iron and ironing board, send and receive parcels at the front desk, request our room to be cleaned at the time we wanted, etc. Faultless service and facilities, excellent amenities, great location. We will most definitely be back any time we need to be in Rennes.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Ultra modern. Friendly staff. Excellent English.
Cons: Room very small. WiFi didn't work well. Hand held shower was broken.
7.5 Good
Pros: This hotel oozes old fashioned style. The rooms are large and comfortable. It’s the first time we’ve had an electrically adjustable bed which was a bit novel. Ample heating which made the room cozy. The pool is outstanding. Big, clean and heated with great massage jets, perfect! Excellent buffet breakfast too.
Cons: There was nothing we could fault.

Pros: It was very comfortable and an enjoyable stay
Cons: We would have preferred to have a table for two for dinner and breakfast instead of sharing both with a French couple who although seemed very nice Proved hard work in a foreign language especially as we had travelled from uk and were very tired!

Pros: The hosts were a lovely couple. So friendly and their hospitality was exceptional. The property was full of old world charm and my en suite room was equally charming with view of the lake. Breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.
Cons: That I didn’t have time to stay another day

Pros: Quirky compared to a regular b&b but far better in my opinion. The hosts greeted us warmly and proceeded to open a bottle of local cider for us to share. We had use of a kitchen/dining room for our evening meal. Breakfast was the most amazing spread I have ever seen. Was more like a banquet. Loved it!
