10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is lovely. Perfect place to enjoy everything Haworth has to offer. Weavers is located next to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, which is well worth a visit. Brendan provided us with detailed instructions for recommended walks in the Yorkshire Dales. We went on one on a blustery, rainy day, but it was beautiful and completely evocative of a Brontë novel. The hot breakfast was tasty and there were many options to choose from. The yoghurt, fruit and cereals were fresh and tasty as well. We stayed in the Shirley Suite, which was spacious and well equipped with robes, tea facilities, complimentary water, etc. We were surprised by all the nice touches, which we would typically equate with 4 or 5 star hotels. Brendan and Josie were professional, efficient and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay at the Weavers again.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We LOVED everything....the welcome, the decor, the extras like blankets, bathrobes, hot water bottles & home made brownies. The scrambled egg was quite literally the best I’ve had.

Pros: The couple in charge, so friendly, and the croisants really goodwa
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I went with a group of friends (a reading club) to visit Haworth and stayed with Brendan and Josie. They made our visit unforgettable: information, reservations, help and all sorts of wonderful details. The B&B - clean, homely and most pleasant - was a kind of second home for us. Thank, thank you. People like Brendan and Josie make people from different countries and cultures to understand each other much better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both Josie and Brendan were very friendly and clearly proud of their B&B (and well they should be proud as the place is lovely!) The best part of my stay was that Brendan did ALL my thinking for me. After staying here for three nights I moved for one night to lovely Ponden Hall and then returned to Haworth the next day for a church service. Brendan immediately realized that it didn't make sense for me to return to Ponden after the service to retrieve my suitcase and then have to head to the trains stn. from there. He suggested I bring my suitcase back to his B&B before church and then I could leave directly. Brendan quickly figured this all out, called a taxi for me and got everything set and ready. This is going ABOVE and BEYOND their call of duty (especially as I was no longer staying at The Weavers!) This is how a B&B should be run. When your host thinks for you - you know you are staying in an amazing place! I didn't want to go! Location FABULOUS! My mom and I stayed here before when it was a different establishment (though I didn't realize this until I checked in!) Breakfasts were the full-English and delicious! Clean, clean, clean! I spent a very comfortable stay here and will definitely stay here again when I return to Haworth. It is very apparent that Josie and Brendan care about their guests. Brendan told me about seeing some of his guests on the moors when it was getting dark. He went home and got his car and picked them up! Again, that says a lot. Thanks Brendan and Josie for making my stay with you PERFECT!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The location was fab. The guesthouse was so clean and everything was efficient. Patsy was a breath of fresh air at breakfast. Brendan who is the owner and chef was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. He is a fantastic chef. Breakfast was yummy. Can't wait to go back.

Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The vegan breakfast was the best we have had in any guest house with thoughtful touches like non dairy yoghurt and even vegan fudge to take away at the. end of our stay. The location could not have been better nor the hosts more helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location on the main street with the Bronte museum directly behind.
Cons: The mattress was a bit too firm for me, but all the tiny details in the room were taken care of.

Pros: Excellent breakfast with a good choice. Nothing was a trouble for Caroline and Adrian. Very good location for visiting Haworth and surrounds. Parking was next to premises. Good to have the availability of a small lounge downstairs as well as a conservatory looking out on their garden at the back of the house. Was also good to get a discount on evening meals at one of the local inns.
Cons: I found nothing to dislike.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Caroline & Adrian were very welcoming and attentive. Comfortable and well presented guest house. 5 mins walk to Main St and Keithley & Worth Valley Rly. If in the area again for a few days Rosebud Cottage would be my first choice to stay.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great B&B...Wonderful and caring proprietors who loving cook your English breakfast to order the next morning.....The room was clean, comfortable, and a little quirky (in a good way).....I felt immediately at home....If you are planning to eat dinner in Haworth, try to arrive by no later that 6pm or 7pm because they roll up the sidewalks pretty early here, even July.......

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean lovely warm pool the staff friendly and the food at the Dog and Gun excellent.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Love the location and the facilities and the fact that you are left to your own devises most of the time so you feel you can enjoy the time out.
Cons: Sometimes the division between paying for room and meals at Dog & Gun can be slightly confusing as appears to change with each visit. Could do with this being explained before people visit (not for me now as been 4 times) but does seem a bit confusing, depending on who is there at the pub at the time. Unfortunately breakfast felt a little bit rushed last weekend as the usual owners were on holiday and the new guy didn't seem to have understood the breakfast forms.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The use of a quiet indoor pool was special. The arrangement with the Dog and Gun pub next door worked really well. The staff there were friendly, the food very good, and very reasonably priced. Definitely one to revisit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very comfortable beds, very clean, beautiful food in the Dog and Gun, the breakfast is top notch

Pros: very very comfortable hotel next to the Dog and Gun pub which had excellent food and super staff. Very convenient for a short taxi ride to the Keighley and Worth valley steam railway and bronte country!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Self catering but breakfast in pub adjoining great. Location lovely, ideal form walking dogs on moors. Near to tourist attractions, eg Haworth and Steam Railway, but away from crowds.
Cons: nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pub was good on the evening of arrival and breakfast plentiful. Room was comfortable.
Cons: The tea and coffee were well hidden!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Food - both dinner and breakfast were superb. Room spotless, bed extra comfy. Swimming pool was clean and perfect with great views.
Cons: Nothing to add
7.9 Good
Pros: The room and hotel facilities excluding breakfast were quite good, although it seemed overdue for decorating.
Cons: Breakfast in the pub did not work for us. The Leeming Wells Hotel is seriously spoilt by its connection with the Dog and Gun pub. where breakfast unfortunately is served. The food it self was fine but the service was brusque and uninviting. There was not a display of cereals and fruitjuices to choose from and the requests for options had to go in the night before and there were no apparent options for special dietary needs. We felt that we were a nuisance that had to be cleared away. This will stop us going again to what otherwise is an intersting and pleasant B & B.

Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very large room, and the room was nice and cool despite it being a hot day. Would have liked more choices for breakfast. Hosts v welcoming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was located 2 mins walk from the station in Haworth and only 5 minutes walk up the hill past the beautiful park to the Main Street. The hosts Martin and Clare were friendly, welcoming and helpful with directions and use of their car parking at the rear of the property, they also gave us a key to the front door so that we could come and go as we wished. The breakfast was cooked to order so was fresh and hot with homemade bread and marmalade along with cereals and fresh fruits. We had a ground floor bedroom that was perfect for us as my husband struggles with steps on occasion, in our room was homemade fruit cake and ginger biscuits along with a good selection of teas and coffee.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, welcoming hosts, lovely characterful house and garden. Spacious room, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, nice bedding and very quiet. Excellent gluten free awareness and provision. Lovely town, good pubs - up a steep hill, though. River and station a very short walk away.
Cons: View from window wasn't great, perhaps a few more pot plants to detract from the wall. Toilet noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed and such friendly owners.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was large everything you needed .The owners were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was also good , plenty of off road parking space ,lovely garden area . Situated near to train station in a quiet area also close to Central Park would strongly recommend staying here to anyone staying in Haworth.
Cons: We weren't overly keen on the communal breakfast table as first thing not always at your most sociable but that is all.

7.5 Good
Pros: Good value for money if the was just 2 adults Clean and comfortable beds Good choice of breakfast options.
Cons: I booked this room to fit 2 adults and a 4 year old Only had 1 double bed. We managed for 1 night but dont think it should be allowed to be booked for more than 2 people.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location near the bottom of the main street in the beautiful village of Haworth. Very good food for the evening meal.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. There was plenty of choice. Dinner was good. The menu had enough variety to suit most tastes.
Cons: The tables felt a little bit close in the restaurant, but not a major problem.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Food absolutely excellent, staff very helpful
Cons: Carpets in the bedroom were a little stained
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location at bottom of main street, perfect for walkers and Bronte fans could not fault room and restaurant, staff were excellent and very knowledgeable about other areas around Haworth .Loved how they have decorated and dress hotel throughout. Great 3 day stay.
Cons: Just small issue shower need some attention .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome, beautiful bedroom and excellent menu. Top marks!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really tasty and plenty of it. The bedrooms were well decorated and comfy.
Cons: Could be a seating area somewhere if you needed a drink.Parking was not explained properly, although £6 for 2 days at the Old Haworth Inn was value for money.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building was interesting and quirky. The restaurant was excellent.Food lovely.Very convenient location for the cobbled village and Bronte Parsonage. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was brilliant.Breakfast was also lovely. There was parking nearby for a small charge. Our room was in the attic and you had to be careful not to bump your head. The tea tray 2as very nice with fresh coffee and nice biscuits. The only criticism is that although the bed was very pretty and the linen was lovely, it was the creakiest bed we,'ve ever slept in , and the mattress was very soft. This caused us to wake frequently in the night, and I didn't sleep well.My husband us 6"2'' and only just fit in tbe bed, so don't book the Lavender room if you are tall, or need a firm mattress. Overall, we loved our stay, but were glad it was just the one night because of the very noisy bed.
Cons: Only had a problem with the bed.Everything else fantastic.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast with good produce and very well cooked . Good location in the heart of the town .
Cons: Mattress needed replacing . No plug near mirror so could not see to style my hair .
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing !
Cons: Parking was abysmal. We should have been told in advance where to park. We were on the attic. My wife could not stand up. To obtain ventilation the velux has to be open, so the room could not be dark. The lavatory seat swung around at 90%plus, it was dangerous. Older people than us could have ended up in the floor. The dining room was not clean.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quality of the food.
Cons: Mattress too firm
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent, friendly service all round. Really nice room with an extremely comfortable bed. The location speaks for itself; one of Yorkshire's most iconic landmarks. Highly recommended.
Cons: No complaints. A lift would have been useful, but I realise that's a little difficult in such an established building.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is wonderful and views to die for. If you are lucky enough to get a warm day, sitting outside with a wine watching the sun set is amazing. Staff aside from check out was hard working and attentive. Room although small was nice and decorated to a good standard. Like vintage inn restuarants and inns and although not our best experience this time, i would return in winter months.
Cons: In a loft room double which was fine, room very much on small side but adequate. Weather was in the mid twenties during our stay and the room was unbearably hot, even with the window open full. Only downside to having to do that was that we was woken repeatidly through the night from noise and animals, meaning we were shatteted next day. Getting ready to go out was a challange as it was so hot we had to keep going out into the cooridor to cool down. Probably would be fine in the winter months and i should of checked prior to booking that hotel offered doesnt offer air con. Mentioned this on check out just for feedback and was curtly informed 'you should of requested a fan'. To be fair check in took 30 minutes plus with a very busy bar and over crowded resturant and people eating outside as extremely busy. Possible suggestion should be a dedicated space for check in away from bar with a staff to support this. This was our experience when trying to order food and drinks from bar, although you could tell the manager and staff were trying the best with the high demands. Bar constantly full of spilt drinks and lots of things of the menu were unavailable due to demand at tea time, this was somewhat dissappointing when ordering evening meal and both having meals to make do and not what we would of chose otherwise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location and a very hard working and helpful team
Cons: I think we should be told in advance if room is attic style with no view The room was very nice but I think the fact it had no view should have been made clear
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second stay at the Cow and Calf and will not be the last. We always request for a room with a view, to open the curtains and look over the moors is simply stunning. Our room this time was much bigger and had a sofa along with table and chairs. The food is amazing and plentiful. Staff are extremely friendly and can not do enough to help. To be able to leave the accommodation, cross the road and step into the beautiful Ilkley Moors is second to none. We would highly recommend a stay here.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and comfortable
Cons: Nothing

6.7 Good
Pros: The location was good and the staff member who handled my complaint was excellent.
Cons: The breakfast sausages were raw. The room was unfinished; it didn't have a wardrobe, a dressing table or a TV in the bed room. We were given a 'suite', but it wasn't really a suite - it was more like a one bed flat. The hot water went off during my girlfriend's shower and I had to shower in another room.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Comfy bed. Ideal location as visiting relatives in the immediate area. Was slightly disappointed in the breakfast. Asked for poached eggs they were overcooked. Solid. Didn't like the crockery used as made drinks and food cold very quickly. Service slow at breakfast.
Cons: See above.

Evening was also very good even though I only spent 1 of my night down with the family due to feeling tired on a training course I was on. Rooms were very comfortable and bright and all facilities were available. Tea. Coffee and chocolate. The hotel is also very quiet and just what you need to unwind and in general only a short walk to bingley. I didn't go down to the locks of which I regret but after my training I was very tired. If you wan't the ritz then this may be not the place for you. Nice fish & chip shop at the end of the road tony's really nice and friendly staff. All in all I would like to thank the team at this hotel for their hospitality and made me feel very welcome.

Pros: Boutique hotel half a mile from the town centre. Comfortable room with a large bathroom and amazing view. Stayed for 4 nights for a relaxing break. Freshly cooked breakfast with local produce.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owners and staff, great breakfast, good restaurant, excellent location a few minutes walk from the Bingley Five Rise locks, own car park, nice garden, tea and coffee in room, wifi, electric shower worked as well as a "standard" one.
Cons: Compact bathroom, room only had one chair, wardrobe but no drawers for shelves. Note, this is construction criticism, we'd happily stay here again. For two nights this was no problem, for a week it might have been a bit restrictive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice situation and excellent breakfast.
Cons: A little tired but quiet and comfortable.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location; good WiFi; friendly staff; good fresh cooked breakfast; excellent tea and coffee making facilities in the room;
Cons: Room not being serviced every day; no Sky (as advertised); but basically we had a very comfortable stay
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice. The location was excellent as it was at the end of the Dales Way which is why we chose it.
Cons: None of the furniture in the room seemed to match. The pictures on the walls were two of dancers and one of ducks. It all seemed a bit haphazard. Having said that, it was a comfortable bed. I was slightly disappointed there was not a choice of hot chocolate sachets in the room. These are all very minor comments and it would not put me off visiting again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, clean rooms, good breakfast, really friendly staff.
Cons: Room a little small and very warm.

Pros: Friendly staff, had an evening meal which was delicious as was the breakfast the next morning.
Cons: We were slightly further out of Haworth then I thought but I should have double checked that. It didn’t cause a problem though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were welcoming. The room was lovely and the breakfast was huge!! The location was perfect as we’d just staggered off a section of the Pennine way. The Inn is atmospheric and I loved the link to history

7.1 Good
Pros: Plenty of hot water , clean shower & basin.Pleasant dining area . Adequate parking facilities. Friendly staff. Automatic lighting in passages was appreciated.
Cons: A clean but very restricting bathroom with the toilet set into a tiny recess . Rather claustrophobic bedroom with no windows, only a skylight to provide ventilation. Breakfast choices were limited.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A warm and friendly welcome. Very characterful historic Inn - very atmospheric. Well equipped rooms. Clean and comfortable. Great location
7.5 Good
Pros: Food was magnificent. Bedroom was nice and owners making a real effort on comfort.
Cons: Last call in restaurant when we arrived was 6.30pm. We weren’t aware. Very early after a days walking. Glad we didn’t miss it. The place is also a bit regimented in terms of rules. Thank goodness no ghosts seen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Old Silent Inn was very welcoming. The food was excellent value for money. We had the twin room with the skylight window which suited us as we were out all day and just showered and slept in there. Would definately return. Thank you.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, food was really good, and the whole place was peaceful and calm.
7.5 Good
Pros: Evening meal fantastic.
Cons: Cheap toilet seat. Streaky bacon on breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff very eager to please...welcoming/chatty. Breakfast and evening meal were very good.
Cons: Room we stayed in was on the small side with no window apart from a very high ceiling Velux-type window which was opened/closed with a long pole. Bathroom was a disaster and would suit children rather than adults. Toilet bowl/cistern was an absurd tight fit for any above-average size adult. Under new ownership/management for 3 months or so - they try hard to please but there's only so much you can do if rooms/bathrooms are just too small. One night stay so we grinned and beared it! The thunder and lightening storm at 3am in the morning keep it an interesting visit to Bronte Country!

Overview Reviews
The Best Western Plus Ilkley Craglands Hotel is set in the famous spa town of Ilkley, on the edge of Ilkley Moor with it's scenic views across the Wharfe Valley. The beautiful Victorian hotel is set in 6 acres offering 63 bedrooms and 7 function rooms.
7.0 Good
Pros: buffet breakfast was adequate and the choice was satisfactory- but below the standard you would expect for the price. The hotel is gracious and historic but there is an air of faded glories about the place. The location in Ilkley, between town and moors is excellent though would present challenges if not able-bodied.
Cons: the carpark is unsurfaced with potholes qand muddy pools when it rains - and awkward to access. Since the hotel has sold off much of its grounds for housing developments, the site now appears cramped and hemmed in. Anyone returning to the hotel after a few years will be surprised at how it appears to have been asset-stripped - and may be living on its past reputation. Our room had a bedside light but no socket with which to operate it. (The socket was across the room, so to use the bedside light meant getting out of bed (!)) The tap in the en-suite was very loose and needed the attention of a plumber.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Communication seemed poor - requested twin room wasn’t available after being confirmed. Also breakfast was paid for at a later date to booking but that hadn’t registered and they tried to charge again - just another administrative error.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent, staff worked hard, location was good.
Cons: Room was small with no view. Bathroom door fitted badly needing a lot of effort as it scraped on the floor. The noise of the swing doors on the ground floor closing and reverberating reached the room on the second floor leading to interrupted sleep.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast not very good
Cons: Room to small
5.0 Okay
Pros: Bed was very comfy
Cons: Expensive for just a room, bathroom needed some TLC
9.6 Excellent

Cons: Nothing, it was all lovely.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location was good, walkable into town . Room very comfortable and clean.
Cons: A bit surprised to find our towels and coffee making facilities in the wardrobe. Staff at breakfast didn’t speak or offer us direction or hot drinks until we asked
7.5 Good
Pros: Very helpful pleasant staff. Easy walk down into town & very central, got a taxi back as it's at the top of a hill
Cons: Rooms were clean & ok for our overnight stay, but looked a little tired. A bit pricey for where & what it was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfy. Enjoyed the evening meal the seabass was delicious. The breakfast was very good and staff very friendly and could not do enough for us really enjoyable visit
Cons: Nothing everything was excellent
6.3 Good
Pros: We like the location. House keeping was poor. Bed sheets not spread properly, shampoo was mussing, waited ages to get one for shower. Shower was not very good, either, very hot or cold water coming in shower.
Cons: I have already mentioned
5.3 Okay
Pros: Lovely location with good views. Nice and quiet ensuring a good night's sleep after a tasty meal in the restuarant.
7.7 Good
Pros: exceptionally impressed with the quality of the room i had, brand new looking bath with whirlpool and really large and well appointed room throughout
4.8 Okay
Cons: Don't expect to get to sleep before 1 am because of the banging music. No adequate response when raising this with Reception. No apology. Another two guests were also complaining to the Reception about the noise as we were leaving.
4.7 Okay
Cons: The hotel grounds are beautiful but the hotel is disappointing, we had an executive double room which was very small. The lift is scary and only goes up to the first floor and the breakfast was poor.
6.7 Good
Pros: I found it quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The purpose of my visit was a reunion of old army colleagues. We were looked after extremely well.
6.8 Good
Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff
Cons:

Cons:
4.0 Okay
Pros: the hotel is very modern and is in fantastic grounds
Cons: the room did not have basics like hairdryers ,iron etc,,and when asked for waited an hour and they still did not arrive
6.4 Good
Pros: Ease of access. Arrived late but restaurant waitress welcomed me. Service in restaurant very good. Interesting menu with good choice and fair prices. Prawn tempora - only 3 prawms! Scallops cooked really well (soft and buttery) could do with more flavour. Otherwise excellent. Breakfast also good - real sausages, good bacon and non-slushy scrambled egss. Well done! Over all the staff showed 'old fashioned' friendliness and good manners.
Cons: Bed hard and TV channel range very limited

Pros: It was a really good price for a very confortable stay.
Cons: The bathroom floor clearly had not been cleaned
4.2 Okay
Pros: Entrance stairs and hall
Cons: Reception member gave us no details of breakfast bar restaurant etc, cleanliness was very poor, found room service menus down side of unit with months of dust on them, mismatched bathroom tiles and soap holder. Everywhere needs cleaning painting and general tidying.
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Housekeeping did not make up the room, despite the sign outside. Toilets flooded near the bar
7.9 Good
Pros: Generally adequate.
Cons: Leak from bathroom ceiling. Dated decor.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: The entire hotel is in need of a massive clean and refurbishment. We were in room 234 and the bathroom was very old and grubby. We had no hot water and the staff had to reset the boiler. The carpet was dirty and old. The breakfast was poor quality and I felt ill after eating the cooked food. For the amount of money it cost (£81) my husband and I thought it was very poor quality. We would not stay here again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were lovely and very clean, also attended a wedding there the same night and everything was beautifully presented
Cons: Weren’t enough bar staff on for the function
7.5 Good
