Pros: Everything was very good, Philip is very friendly and the room perfect clean and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was continental style, and we were served personally by Filip. There was fresh fruit on offer, eggs and a combination of breads, meats and cheeses. The setting was wonderful, downstairs in a dining area near the kitchen. There was wonderful furniture all around, with lighting showing off art and pictures. It was quiet as we seemed to be the only guests at the time so it meant direct service and being well taken care of. The whole house looked great, lots of period features. It was in an excellent location, with a park nearby and within a few minutes walking distance of the beach. Filip also gave us some recommendations such as a great restaurant, and when we wanted to go to Bruges, suggested taking the train which worked out well.
Cons: We came with our dogs - they were made very welcome and we were well supported with them. Only one small point - we needed to climb many flights of steps to the top of the building to our room and that was not so easy with our dogs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely decoration. fantastic bronzes pictures everywhere. Lot of attention to detail.
Cons: 8 small flights of stairs. My bad knee struggled to top floor room. This isn't a criticism. It is what it is. Next time though I'd make sure it was lower floor room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the style of the hotel, that’s why I choose online this Hotel. Quality of hotel presentation in web very clearly expressed, no surprises when arrived at the hotel. Thanks for the good time spend there.
Cons: Functioning of television, I could not really utilize the proper service of tv channels due to the confusion of two remotes controls.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very warm welcome. The owner shows great dedication in welcoming his guests and ensuring excellent breakfast. The house is wonderfully renovated taking into account its history and original architecture. The B&B has its own covered parking across the street so no need to pay for parking in the street itself.
Cons: The mattress was too soft but that obviously depends on personal preference.

Pros: The park is beautiful, as well as the room and the warming owner. Breakfast delicious> top! Thank you so much we had an amazing weekend!
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was very nice, but it needs to have a car in order to reach the historical center of Brugge. The lady who owns the guesthouse is very kind.
Cons: Check in starts at 16:00 and check out finishes at 11:00.Breakfast time is too early probably because of the very early check out.The room was not that clean (the blanket for our daughter had a spot and we also found a used piece of cotton make up remover).Breakfast was ok.No WiFi connection in our room.We had to find out by ourselves how the heating radiator works.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing romantic place
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Enormous, excellent kept stately garden all around, building respefectfully refurbished, very good breakfast, very friendly and personal welcome and stay, location within a minute from the E-40 to Bruges, Calais, ....
Cons: If anything to mention: curtains not being all sun or light proof, which is only a disadvantage for those waking up by the first sunray in the room. But that's detail critics and does not affect to the overall excellent experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had the most wonderful stay here. It was quiet and convenient to Brugge and Ypre. Lies was a most accommodating host with a beautiful breakfast and her attention to detail. It is worth staying just for the gardens.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely breathtakingly stunning! The owner was magical.
Cons: Nothing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is charming, cozy and super clean! The garden is a treat, the house is fantastic! It is not for someone who loves modern clean places but if you love romance and vintage, you will feel like in heaven. We did :)
Cons: The highway is quite close by so you hear the noise, on the other hand it is easy to get to and Brugge is really close by.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had the romantic room 'guirlande d'amour'. Nicely decorated, fireplace was on when we arrived, very comfy beds. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit salad, fruit juice, eggs to your prefrence, and variety of breads and rolls. Hostess was extremely friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything ! The welcome, the atmosphere, the room, the scenery, the location, the breakfast... Strongly recommend !
Cons: Lemme think about it for a few months...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful, romantic place near Brugges but in a quiet, close to the forest area. The house is very beautiful, with a lot of small elegant details. But the yard is the main attraction point of this B&B. Liz, the owner, has put her soul into decorating and maintaining the huge garden. It has a lot of different areas, like a labyrinth and it makes you feel like Alice in Wonderland while wandering around and asking what you'll discover next! The breakfast is included and it is fresh and generous. Both hosts are helpful and try to make you feel at home. Definitely worth the money!
Cons: -
B&B De Vossenbarm - Jabbeke - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was amazing, and so was the accommodation. Christine the host was very friendly and welcoming. I will defiantly recommend this place to everyone!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent five wonderful days at Christine's charming b&b. For our main goal - to visit Bruges - this was the perfect starting point. The breakfast was superb - every morning Christine suprised us with little extras or fresh fruits. Our spacious room was most tastefully decorated - the perfect place to come home to after long walks through medieval Bruges. Our dog was warmly welcomend too and enjoyed the surrounding countryside as a nice contrast to the crowded city. In the morning Christine gave us superb insider tips for must-do's and nice places in Bruges and the "Ommeland". She also told us where to park our car when we went to Bruges. Since there are several parking areas with low or no fees at all, staying outside of the town isn't really a disadvantage. From the first moment on we felt that everything Christine does she does with love. We highly recommend this charming place and will certainly return to her fabulous hide-away!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Situated in a beautiful area, close to Bruges and the coast. Wonderful host, super breakfast and comfy room. Extremely dog friendly, super relaxed to be with the dogs here as the environment is safe and all the guests and host genuinely adore dogs. One of our best holiday stay. Would definitwly like to return.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and the hospitality were magnificent, and the location brilliant if one wanted peace and tranquility, and lovely views. The information on the local are and communication beforehand from our hostess Cristina was amazing.
Cons: The only change I would make is that the sheets on the bed needed ( for me ) to be of a higher quality - but that's minor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, beyond any expectations. And I mean, both for food and atmosphere. Lovely landscape, friendliness and relax.
Cons: Just to make De Vossenbarm perfect, I'd suggest to improve acoustic insulation of the rooms. If other clients move during the night, it is not perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fabulous. Christine was an excellent host and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Pros: Don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside the hotel is not so recognizable, but the owners have turned the inside into a very nice and comfy B&B. Very hospitable and friendly staff, super clean room and bathroom with soft towels. Varied and tasty breakfast. Good location, situated near Casino Middelkerke. We would definitely stay here again for a shortstay at the seaside.
Cons: On a very personal note: the bed was a bit too hard for my back but sizewize it was a proper double bed. The hotel does not offer parking, but there are parking facilities nearby (and its free during winter season). Don't let the tramline put you off. We had a room at the front and it was very soundproof so you don't hear the tram driving by.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location is right on the beach, hotel facilities are fine and the parking space price is good. Breakfast is nice and there are many choices for every diet.
Cons: The room was not particularly clean. Vacuuming was done one time in my 6 days stay and very superficial. Dust was having a party under the beds. The balcony was unusable, very dirty, no light bulb and I believe that something was nesting in the place where that light bulb should have been. Restaurant staff is not very polite and after one staff member set us down at the table another came and claimed that the table was reserved (for breakfast) and she did not believe that a staff member invited us to stay at that table.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners so friendly
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Greet and Paul were the best hosts! They were both very hospitable and my daughter and I really enjoyed getting to know them. We stayed here as we explored Bruges and attended the Christmas market. They greeted us upon arrival and even offered to pick us up from the bus. A cup of tea was welcomed after a long day of travel and we got to enjoy so many Flemish treats with explanations as to each - we learned a lot! The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfasts - wow! There was a lot of thought put into the food - both in presentation and what was served. It was really appreciated. I gave 4 stars to the location, only because we were travelling by bus (no car) and this made things a bit tricky, especially on Sunday when bus service is more limited. However, it was great to also get out into the country and explore a typical Belgian neighbourhood, so we just looked on it as an adventure! If you had a car, it would be no problem whatsoever. And really, it wasn’t a problem for us either since Greet and Paul more than made up for the inconvenience of trudging to the bus. Thanks Greet and Paul!

Cons: The only thing I can think of is the heating wasn't hot enough but I am always cold.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and tidy and nice breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I enjoyed our stay here from beginning to end. We had the ground floor room which is spacious and modern. The owners of the B&B are an older couple and very friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The bed is comfortable, the room and bathroom basic but more than enough! The breakfast is simply AMAZING and sumptuous! They use only local products and if you're lucky home made marmelade. The couple themselves love to travel as well so if you want you can share wonderful travel stories. Location from the B&B to the old city of Bruges is good but you do have to have your own car which will bring you in about 15 minutes to a parking garage on the edge of the old city. All in all we can definitely recommend this location!
Cons: I'm sure if I search hard enough I could find something....but why would I? Our stay was wonderful and the owners extremely nice and hospitable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant and helpful owners
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Good choice for breakfast, location very central everything in walking distance
Cons: No idea why they had a hammock in the room as it took up too much space. Weather very hot and no air conditioning in the room, no tea of coffee making facilities either. No privacy on the balcony and the metal frame around the front of it is a ideal climbing frame for children which isn't ideal if there are children staying in any of the 3 rooms with balconies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect !!!
Cons: No aperol ...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is pricey (15 euro p/p per day) but it was amazing. There's a big buffet that is refilled utill the breakfast "ends" at 11 am. You can stay there from 7 untill 11:30 if you want. We ate so much that we basically skipped lunch every day. Fresh fruit, pastries, pancakes, egs, bacon, baked beans, all kinds of bread, everything we could ask for was there. The shower was so good that we showered every day, sometimes multiple times. It was clean, very big and amazingly comfortable. We slept great in the beds and had more outlets (normal and usb) then we could ever need. Great hotel for a few days stay in the middle of Ostend. We didn't want to leave at all.
Cons: The beds were (as advertised) two single beds put next to each other. We sleep seperately anyway, but not the best for watching a late night film toghether.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, room size, size of Gin measures, slide!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: 1. Very clean, modern and comfortable room. 2. On the 1-st floor there were a lot of entertainments for adults and families with kids. 3. Nice view from the room. 4. Shops, restaurants, see... Everything is very close to the hotel.
Cons: 1. There were no ventilation and air conditioning inside the room. 2. You have to keep window opened every night but it was very noisy outside. That's why sleeping was not so comfortable as we expected.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: good location, excellent service nice room !

Pros: Absolutely stunning Furnishings in this Hotel!!

Pros: The lounge and the room :)

Pros: The room was perfect for a family of 6. Caroline was really helpful and friendly and breakfast was fantastic.
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: They prepared a special breakfast for me because I had to leave early
6.8 Good
Pros: very family friendly. Good breakfast.
7.0 Good
Pros: Our host was really friendly and helpful and did everything for our 5 month old baby to feel at home: a baby bed, a microwave at our disposal, a room on groundfloor level close to the dining hall. The breakfast was delicious and vareous with fresh and local products. The location of the dining hall was spaceous so we were certainly not back to back with other people or other tables which was nice.
Cons: The luxurious and modern photos on the internet made us choose this hotel. On the outside the modern building with its offwhite walls looks wonderful and is surrounded by green. However, once opening the door to our room it looked really dark and outdated. When we saw the other building "Luxus" while doing a tour on the domain we realised that we were in the rather outdated part of the hotel... The floors were aged, the wallpaper was dark with traces of a giant self-adhesive sticker that was no longer there. The ventilation in the bathroom was really loud. There was a mouldy smell in the room's closet which smelled troughout the room. We booked last minute and maybe therefore we have been given this room, however we don't feel like it carries out the same spirit as the rest of the hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: IT was perfect!
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: For families with young children excellent because of the outside space and facilities. Clean and modern and quiet - the adjacent airfield is not a problem because of the infrequent flights. The quoted 10min walk to the beach is optimistic - more like a sensible 20mins but virtually traffic free. Nice buffet breakfast - cereals pastries bread cold meats cheeses fruit juice etc. Very pleasant host.
Cons: We booked with booking.com against a credit card, when we got there to be told no credit cards - cash only. That was achieved but with difficulty. There would not have been a problem if we had had advanced warning. So ignore what the paperwork says and take the cash.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and welcoming and more than happy to suggest local amenities and sights. We stayed in a terrace room which was cosy and well equipped and had patio doors that opened into a nice outdoor space. There was a communal lounge space too offering small kitchenette and games!
Cons: Nothing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the 2 bedroom rooms so that we could put the children to bed and still have an evening. The breakfast spread was wonderful including cava at an extra cost. The communal living room with honesty bar was a lovely place for both the children to play and grown ups to relax. Also useful to have the kitchen to warm food and wash bottles.
Cons: The location isn't great, right by an airport and outside of the main town. It's not noisy or disruptive, just not very picturesque. You also need a car to get around. There is a lovely little village nearby though and the benefits of the property outweigh this slight negative.

7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, good internet, good wine shop, some toys for kids in front of house
Cons: Low room isolation / no towels / beddings long time in use
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big room and bathroom, very modern facilities, looking out over the garden, huge comfortable bed, separate entrance for guests so could come and go as we pleased. Walked into town for beers and a Thai meal and strolled back in the semi darkness, about 15 min flat walk. Compared to the ibis budget in town which was more expensive and very very basic, it was excellent value.
Cons: We were woken up by tractors at 6am going along the field at the back of the property which was fine for us as we were leaving at 6.30. Would only happen certain times of the year.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely home from home. Warm and clean. Easy parking and plenty of space.
Cons: No oven or toaster but wasn't a huge issue.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: no tv in the room thnks G-D very friendly host a refreshing touché of farm life
Cons: weak stream in the douche. no nearby shopping facilities
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was only 10 minutes to where we needed to be at so that was good. Restaurants and grocery stores (Aldi) was about 10 minutes drive. There is a restaurant on premises but we did not eat there so can't really give it a recommendation. There is also a wine store attached to the hotel. The room (whole apartment) was spacious for a family of four. Parking lot was good. Go-karts were a great addition!
Cons: Had a kitchen but no oven. There are no towels provided by the hotel that I saw. Luckily, I read about it prior to booking so I knew to bring my own towels. Stair to the loft is bit steep so be careful if you have young ones.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location in greenary. Comfortable stay. Helpful host.
Cons: Provision of more kichenetts like toaster, freezer compartment in fridge etc would have been better.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for traveling from the coast to Brussels over 4 days. Beautiful and modern farm with sheep, horses, and cows viewable in neighboring fields. Easy to find, park, communicate with the host, and even a great place for my toddler to play in an outdoor play home and bikes to ride. Fully equipped kitchen (no stove) and a lovely large bathroom with walk in shower. The beds are very comfortable and the furniture is nice as well. We would stay here again!
Cons: The house was wonderful and clean! The only items that we that needed to be cleaned before used were the dishes. They seemed to have some dirt/dust residue on them. The sound proofing is also a little soft and I have a toddler so I'm sure the neighbors didn't love us.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The surrounding were amazing, rooms were well sized, well decorated, comfortable and fit for purpose. Local supermarket within 3min drive. Staff were friendly and anything needed was provided e.g. More pillows etc. Got left alone with no interference, no paperwork and was expecting us.
Cons: Slightly limited kitchen equipment, no stove or freezer.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: There was lots of space and we were left in peace to enjoy our stay. Absolutely perfect for us!
Cons: We didn't realise that towels weren't provided until we got there, so it would've been good to have been told that in advance.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Liked many aspects of the location, service, food, etc.,

Pros: Everything. Great room, great breakfast and fantastic staff. Easy overnight parking and 20min drop off outside the hotel. Excellent location with everything an easy walk away.
Cons: Rooms were a little to warm. A fan maybe?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always nice to visit very friendly staff always very helpful
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cosy and clean.
Cons: Very poor noise insulation in the rooms. The single room is extremely small (approx 3*2m), but the bathroom is nice and practical. I wouldn't recommend if you expect to spend some extra time in your room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, the staff very friendly and the location good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room we booked was a good size. We were at the top and had a terrace. The room was a bit warm but it is summer. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and quite good. Parking in the street was fine. You have to pay 3 euros for 4 hours until 8pm when ti is free until 9am the next day.
Cons: Some of the furniture in the room was excellent like the two soft chairs but the sofa and the desk were not. The desk was not really practical. The carpet and curtains in the room seemed to have some dust and perhaps they need to freshen those up.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was very clean, good breakfast. Everywhere we went a nice, fresh scent welcomed us. The bathroom was really modern. Vey good wifi for work. Friendly staff
Cons: We came into our room, room 35 and it was really(!!) small. The pictures all show a nice romantic bed but that wasnt the case. We were very dissapointed at first, but the cleanliness and hygiene of the place made up for it. The location could be better, no free or available parking space nearby. Door closes at midnight
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Very friendly staff. Rooms were bright and modern. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good selection for breakfast, above the usual continental standard. Staff were very friendly and gave good local advice regarding parking and restaurants. Very quiet side street, and balcony gave great views over the city. Parking on street is cheaper than the hotel charges, 0900-2000 @ €3 for 4 hours, although you’d be lucky to get a space directly in front of the hotel itself. Short walk to the beach which is magnificent.
Cons: We booked a junior suite which was a reasonable sized room. But the space for the toilet was stupidly small. Literally stuck between the bathroom wall and the bath! Mattress was large, but had sunk in the middle quite badly. No air con in the rooms.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location, friendly hosts and excellent breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean central hotel with comfy rooms, helpful staff, a very wide choice for breakfast, with parking available nearby. Also free WiFi worked very well.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good and the location suited both of us, the hotel grounds were lovely.
5.8 Okay
Cons: The room was really dark with only a closed door (and absolutely no sound insulation) separating us from the adjacent room. You could very clearly hear everything that has happened there. Decoration style was also a bit bizarre and inconsistent. There was a coffee machine but the coffee jar was empty. Selling this place as a nice romantic boutique hotel would need a lot more attention to details.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room and the breakfast were OK
Cons: We booked a suite and it wasn't available. The pool and the sauna were closed and they didn't warn us about it so we had another room and nothing to do on site as planned.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms Beautiful lobby Nice breakfast
Cons: The shower was very hard to work The Nespresso coffee machines in the rooms were a nice touch but not helpful for people who don't know how to use them
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I did like everything in that hotel starting from Marco who has been absolutely marvellous. He was really helpful in any single aspects of my business visit.
Cons: There is nothing for me to report.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fantastic service, i really enjoyed the breakfast experience, first class service. I really enjoyed the stay !
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and choice of room. Able to give us breakfast tray evening before as left very early.
Cons: Front door very difficult to open and close. Room door key difficult to locate in lock.
7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious room, pleasant host, good breakfast.
Cons: More attention to detail required when cleaning room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location; it was easy access from the autoroute but distant enough that we felt it was not just a stopover. We very much liked the proprietor's easy going and relaxed manner. The house which comprises the hotel is beautiful and elegant with excellent gardens though they needed some attention to bring them up to a decent standard. Our pet dog was made very welcome with excellent routes to walk her. Breakfast was very good with an excellent variety of breads and delicious home made jam. The hotel did not provide evening meals but we were recommended an excellent Chinese restaurant called Jade.
Cons: The cleanliness of the hotel could have been improved but this slight discomfort was offset by the overall atmosphere. Everything else was very good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and charming couple in charge of the hotel. Our stay was short but pleasant. Quiet and beautiful garden. Very good breakfast
Cons: Nothing to mention

Pros: Location very good , near to sea front. Staff very friendly , very good breakfast , lots of choice.
Cons: Parking expensive , either on the streets or multi storey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast, the best of our trip. Friendly staff lots of help and advice. Steps away from the sea front and various Restaurants and shops. Train station is 10 minutes walk away which gives access to anywhere in Belgium.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here as it is a convenient location for the beach and sailing club. Sailing was our sole reason for being in Ostend. The breakfast was good and perfectly presented and the staff were attentive. The situation is quiet, yet convenient for sightseeing or dining out.
Cons: We have stayed here before, but this time we found the new bedroom layout rather strange. We liked the new decor, but the toilet was located in a windowless “cupboard “ next to the dressing area and away from the main bathroom and washbasin. So a night time trip to the loo became a trek around the bed and back to access hand washing! We also thought the modern basin design strange as there was no plug, inevitably we wasted water by having to wash or shave under a running tap!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and comfortable hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The view from our room was on other buildings.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: That we were allowed to stay 1 hour longer because of health problems That there were a lot of soya products at breakfast
5.5 Okay
Cons: bed with plastic bottom. Worst
6.3 Good
Pros: Location + Friendly Staff
Cons: No AC + Bathroom design + beds too small.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very clean. Nice bedroom and bathroom. NO AIRCO!
Cons: Airco would be nice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is in a good location. Easy to get to the seafront and to the Ostend at Anchor festival. The room was a good size and was very clean. A good breakfast also.
Cons: The pillows were very hard and not very comfortable, and the room was dreadfully hot at night. More clear instructions on booking.com with regard to parking. I didn't notice that parking is limited. I essentially look for parking when booking (and I use the filter to filter out hotels with no parking), but the hotel only has six spaces. Disappointing, as we had a bit of difficulty finding parking space.
