Pros: Excellent very clean and couldn’t fault anything
Pros: Rooms were very clean, great breakfast
Pros: Staff were very warm and welcoming, the decor of the hotel was lovely and the food was excellent.
Pros: Breakfast choice was exceptional
Cons: Nothing.absolutely top marks
Pros: Staff are friendly Rooms are big and spotless WiFi is very good But the best thing by far is the restaurant The food is as good as it gets
Cons: It would not be possible to find fault with this hotel.
Pros: A very nice familyowned hotel near the Veloroute 3. Superb dinner, a friendly host, large and comfortable rooms with own garden!
Pros: It was a clean, beautiful property. Close to several nice towns. Staff was really nice and helpful!
Cons: Not that I didn’t like it, but we had a room facing south. The days we were staying were really hot, and the room has no air conditioning which is not a big deal, the only tip from me would be to install some ventilation in the bathroom, so it won’t be that humid. I know it sounds like nagging, but mannn it was real hot :)
Pros: Splendid and comfortable hotel in a very nice environment. The breakfast is excellent. They cook fantastic meals for very reasonable prices. My homebase for all my future Francorchamps race events....
Pros: Good location for a quiet stopover whilst travelling.
Cons: Bad internet/Wifi. We were in Room 16 (at the rear of the building) could not connect at all. We had to rely on our own 4G
Pros: The host was extremely helpful and kind, with very good English (important!), the breakfast was self cooked by the host, served for us specifically a bit earlier since we had to leave. She even called the baker to make sure he bakes a bit earlier fresh bread for us,which she made us take with us since we ate too little. Very many local delicious things for breakfast as well as home made chocolate cake. Felt totally like at your dear aunt's home:) Extremely, extremely sweet and kind place.
Cons: The village where the B&B is located is very small and almost no one speaks english outside the hotel :) We were there just for a night on the road trip, so that was ok for us, but keep this in mind.
Pros: we didn't take the breakfast, we found 12 euro per person too much.
Pros: Fantastic location, very clean and Regine is a fantastic host who makes you feel welcome straight away
Pros: Regine, the host, was very friendly and polite and could not do enough for us. She felt like a friend I didn't know I had
Pros: Entry could use some paint. Rooms are tidy and clean with fridge and water boiler. We ran a 107km trail and we asked if we could shower afterwards the day after and that was no problem so yes very customer friendly.
Boasting a convenient location in Verviers centre, Hotel Des Ardennes dates back 118 years and is set in a characteristic building overlooking Victory Square. It offers functional rooms equipped with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The rooms are simply yet functionally decorated. They either have private or shared bathroom facilities. Hotel Des Ardennes has an in-house brasserie which offers a selection of regional beers. It offers a buffet breakfast every morning. There is a wide range of restaurants for dinner within 1 km as well. The F1 circuit of Spa Francorchamps is a 20-minute drive away from Des Ardennes. Verviers-Central train station is a 200-metre walk.
Pros: Maggy runs the place and is really, really friendly. She was very kind to my son and made us feel very welcome. A free drink and a smile was a great start and it continued that way.
Cons: Close to a busy road and the view was average
Pros: My daughter and I stayed here for one night in April 2019. The hotel is right by the main station in Verviers: a town centre that has seen better days but the hotel is located at the point where gentrification seems to be starting. The building is charming with many period touches and the room was clean with an extremely comfortable bed. Lovely balcony overlooking the fountain might make the room too noisy for some at night but it was perfect for us. The crowning glory of this hotel was the girl who checked me in: a wonderful local guide, an enjoyable conversationalist and makes a great coffee also. We hope to be back again.
Cons: Nothing - bar closes at 7 and no food in the hotel but there are some interesting choices nearby.
Pros: with only 10 rooms, this hotel seems more of a family-run affair than an international chain - and it shows. As you walk in, you are directly taken it by the cosy and warm atmosphere of the place and the people working in it. The room and bathroom are comfortable and clean, Breakfast is divers and ample. The bar has plenty of beers to choose from ;-) Note that there is no lift/elevator, should this be an issue, but the architecture doesn't seem to permit such an addition.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was quaint and the view, although it was facing a small area with buildings, I loved it. It was the kind of view I enjoy when traveling abroad. The hotel is 123 years old and shares a historical feeling. I would definitely stay again at Hotel Des Ardennes if I return to Verviers.
Pros: The welcome at reception. The location. The olde worlde charm.
Cons: Only answer to avoid leaving a blank box is that the breakfast was a little disappointing.
Pros: Staff most helpful although the town its self was very run down. Hotel suited us for what we wanted
Cons: The town
Pros: Handy to the Railway Station and town centre and friendly and helpful staff
Cons: The stairs, but staff carried our bags upstairs
Pros: Very friendly and hospitable owners. Quiet rooms, comfy beds.
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room!
Pros: Great breakfast Lovely garden Very peaceful and quiet Very warm welcome
Cons: No hairdryer Fridge could have been cooler
Pros: Great, clean and cosy. Tasty breakfast in the room. Our small dog could stay with us, so that was perfect. Weather was chilly but would be very nice to have breakfast in the garden. Lovely surroundings and good location. Highly recommended.

Pros: very well the location near the railway station, with good road communication and park, very good cleaning in the room.
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms
Cons: My room was located on the top floor, and even with mild weather (15-20 degrees Celcius), and all windows open, it was impossible to keep the room cooled. I propose van der Valk invests in some better air conditioning.
Pros: Nice and new hotel in a convenient location. Spacious, nice and clean rooms. Fantastic summer terrace with good food.
Pros: Free parking and spa facilities. Although shame the pool wasn't heated.
Pros: It was brilliant love place great atmosphere
Pros: Hotel was close to th train. Room service was delicious.
Cons: Nothing isn’t good. 1. When I checked inn, I pay for all my days and rooms, that I booked, when I checked out- I have to pay again the same price (reasons why- they can’t tell me) 1.Restaurant- awful, hair in the Bolognese, rotten tomatoes in salad etc.
Pros: The resto, bar terrace area is the best feature
Cons: Very uncomfortable beds - soft and narrow, All wrong.
Located in Verviers, Hôtel Le Midi is within a 15-minute drive of Fort Battice and Chateau de Franchimont. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice people.
Cons: Bed bugs in my room.
Pros: Good value for money.
Pros: I like the tennis courts and badminton courts in side facility
Cons: No tissue box in room, no body at reception after 10pm.
Pros: Friendly staff. Quit location. Good bar. Indoor parking for motorcycles.
Cons: Breakfast was very simple. No airco. Very humid in the room.
Pros: Just right
Pros: Excellent base for Spa a Francorchamps Circuit. The food is excellent. The hotel friendly and clean. Nice Beer
Pros: We liked the spacious room and the comfy bed. Nice bathroom, and private parking.
Cons: The website of the hotel did not mention that the restaurant was not open on Sundays. Luckily we found a restaurant nearby. Also, the surroundings of the hotel are not very "romantic", being a sports center. But then, if you fancy a tennis work-out before diner, it is practical.
Pros: The breakfast was great,, but the restaurant was totally EPIC,, absolutely superb food and the price was fair,
Cons: Ok,, lets be fair,, this is not a high class hotel,, but prices are fair
Pros: Everything , lovely staff and excellent food.
Pros: Not the most modern hotel but good location and clean. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy just a little tired and down the side of the hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was definitely the highlight. Loved our meal there
Cons: Given the prices in this region on the weekend we went, there really wasn’t much wrong with this hotel. As mentioned, tired decor thats all.
