Pros: Our hosts Caroline and Andy were welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Andy carried our luggage to and from our room and Caroline gave us a choice of rooms. We chose the larger room at no extra cost and it contained everything we could possibly need. Tea and coffee facilities were also available at no extra charge. Andy was the restaurant chef and the food he provided was absolutely delicious. We had the beef one night with lots of accompanying vegetables and the pork dish the second night. The buffet breakfast provided many options of both hot and cold foods. It was also delicious. The pretty property set amongst the vineyards of the Moselle River is conveniently located for the lovely town of Cochem and Eltz castle.
Pros: Came for one night, stayed for two, and would have stayed longer, but it was sold out. It is a private house ran as a hotel, so it has a cosy feeling. Wonderful terrace and exceptionally good chef. Really, be sure to stay for dinner.
Pros: This family run hotel is superb! Room was exceptionally clean and offers more facilities than some big hotels. Lovely views of the Moselle from our balcony. The owner is a top chef and the evening meal was generous and very well presented. The salmon and the beef were very tasty. Do try the evening meal when visiting here. Breakfast selection was varied too. This is the only independent hotel we stayed in during our 3 week trip to Germany and certainly exceeds the service and food we have received in 4&5* chain hotels. We will visit again and highly recommend this friendly hotel and restaurant.
Cons: Everything was the best.
Pros: Staff were friendly and very accommodating. A peaceful place at the end of a pretty village. Plenty of parking outside.
Pros: We really liked the location and the restaurant. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Wonderful little find!
Pros: Lovely small friendly hotel with stunning views over the Mosel. Every room has a balcony and our room was immaculate. Delicious evening meal - best of the trip so far.
Pros: We had a fabulous duck dinner and the hosts were wonderful.
Pros: Had a great stay and best meal on our trip. Truly a top chef! Nothing like enjoying a great meal while watching serene Mosel river at sunset.
Cons: Decided we want to stay an extra couple days but they were sold out. My bad.
Pros: Very friendly owners of the hotel, garage for motorbikes, hotel at the end of a road, very helpful if you have allergyproblems (food), very delicious and good food, very nice room with balcony, modern, terrace with view on the river,.....
With a stay at Waldhotel Kurfuerst in Kaisersesch, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Moselle Promenade and Cochem Historic Mustard Mill. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great beds, very quiet rooms, very dark rooms, great coffee at the restaurant and atmosphere.
Cons: Unfortunately no coffee machine or tea in the room
Pros: The location off the beaten track but in striking distance to the Moselle River as well as the incredibly friendly staff and the comfortable hotel/restaurant were the main factors for the high rating. In addition, breakfast and dinner quality was very good.
Cons: The only slight drawback was the wi-fi which required a sign-in to Facebook or freefi.
Pros: For a family weekend we were looking for a hotel in the countryside of the Eifel region. On the edge of town surrounded by forest this hotel met our demands. Upon arrival the sun came out so we got our first beer on the cosy terrace. Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with free WIFI, nice buffet style breakfast and a la carte dining options, bar area. Intimate feeling, not a massive setup. Several hiking options start from nearby Saint Martins hut (look for the signs outside or ask at reception). Cochem, Koblenz and other places of interest (Nürburgring, Monreal) within easy reach. We enjoyed visiting Vulkan brewery in Mendig. Enjoyed our weekend !

Cons: Nobody answered after 9pm despite annotation that I will come late
Pros: Very Clean room, looked like new. Staff polite and courteous. Breakfast included.
Cons: Pillow was an odd size!
Pros: Ok bed - no more
Cons: Many things! I ordered a double room, Received a twin room, they replaced the room to one with a double bed and two sets of sheets. When I got back to the room I was amazed to find out that they took one of the pillows one of the towels and one of the blankets. I asked if it was done by mistake and they said that each customer receives only a single towel and a single pillow. and if he wants another one you cannot have it! As well there was no shampoo or any kind of body soap. Breakfast was very poor as well
Pros: The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend!

Pros: The location and the nature were really perfect.
Cons: It’s near the train rail and all the night the noice of the train is really annoying specially at night. There is not any elevator and it’s not suitable for old people. But the staffs are freindly.
Pros: The place is spotless. The breakfasts were outstanding. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is very close to the charming town of Cochem. As well, it is right on the Moselle River so there is constant entertainment from the boat traffic.
Cons: The trains (albeit mostly electric, and so relatively quiet), pass directly beside the hotel. As well, I walk with a cane, and the circular marble staircase two floors up to the room was treacherous. Also, since it is early April, many restaurants etc are not open.
Pros: The location and breakfast was good.
Cons: The property was on the third floor and reached only by stone steps. It was close to the railway line with frequent rains passing all night. The view of a few backyards was obscured by scaffolding.
Pros: Good breakfast friendly staff good location for exploring the region
Cons: pillows not very comfortable
Pros: Very lovely staff Very tasty wine Very tasty appel strudel close to Cochem
Cons: No lift
Pros: Small hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and excellent wine tasting. Close to good hiking trails.

Pros: Great location and super dog friendly. We loved our stay. The parking in Cochem is a little frustrating. This hotel provided parking and is right next to the train station. Take the train and 5 minutes later you get off right in the heart of Cochem. The owner was fantastic, the drinks and food were amazing. Klotten itself is a cute little town with a variety of wineries and places to eat.
Pros: The location is right by the river with easy access to the village. Greeted by the owner with a cold drink, very welcome. The room was very comfortable and soundproof so you couldn't hear the trains outside the property. There was a lovely large shared balcony were you could sit and relax and talk to fellow guests. We ate in the restaurant, we had the set meal which was superb and very much recommended. Lots of choice for breakfast. Added bonus was the garage to store our motorbike.
Pros: Excellent breakfast, Klaus is a supper host. He offered us a drink when we arrived, helped carrying our suitcases. Very cordial and provided us with information about where to visit, which restaurants for evening meals since his establishment was not open. We will definitely if in the area stay at this hotel
Cons: Not enough time, we wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: Mc Parking indoor. Good breakfast
Pros: Klaus came to meet us and immediately introduced himself and offered a drink. The hospitality continued like this and Klaus was a true gentleman who couldn't do enough to help. For us, this was the ultimate biker's accommodation - great location, lovely people and a huge garage to keep the bike safe. Ran by bikers for bikers - oh and the food was fantastic!!!
Cons: We could have had more than one night there.
Pros: Breakfast was personalized and enough choices. Free parking. Room is clean.
