8.8 Excellent
Pros: Freakishly nice business hotel near Gifu Station.
Cons: Way more expensive than any other business hotel in Japan.
7.5 Good
Pros: Connected by walkway to JR Gifu station, very quiet, good breakfast, comfortable bed, standard Dormy nice public bath facility (indoor, outdoor, cold pool and sauna) with laundry machines, several coin-op massage chairs and a bookshelf of manga by the vending machines.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Onsen was great. Also the complimentary ramen was yummy.
7.5 Good
Pros: The onsen's and the sauna were wonderful. The best hotel onsen in my 6 week stay in Japan. The breakfast was also outstanding,
Cons: The rooms are disgusting....old broken and dirty. Next to the toilet was a huge plastic container full of liquid. When I asked what it was I was told it was water, if there was a problem with the toilet I could pour it into the tank! I immediately change my 14 day stay to 7 days!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its a couple mins walk from the train station. The hotel is linked to the station on a footbridge but it goes around and behind some office buildings before reaching hotel. So at night it might be better to exit footbridge at elevator Q and reach the hotel on ground level. What I really enjoyed about this hotel is of course the hotsprings. Also the washing machines are free to use (dryers are not free but only 100 yen per 20 mins).
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are exceptional, meet us in the carpark and transported our bags to hotel lobby and room. On departure as well as luggage transfer provided us with protection from the rain. Fabulous breakfast buffet.
Cons: Stayed at this hotel for the "Cormorant experience" didn't realise that the fishing is only a display and to view need to book onto a tour, not the fault of the hotel, should have researched more, as a result didn't see much at all.

Pros: Many choices. Buffet style in large dining room.

Pros: Hotel is situated on the river, good walking paths to parks, castle, temples. Staff were very courteous and helped us find a cam.era store
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very comfortable and we had a lovely view over the river.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were wonderful and the room was very spacious as I expected.
Cons: It was very disappointing to have to pay $20+/day/ person to use the swimming pool; especially since that was not outed when I booked the hotel online. Also the locations rating was 8.5 online but I give it a 0 as it was far away from restaurants and the train station. There were no other restaurants nearby at all. AND all the restaurants in the hotel were very expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spacious room
Cons: Food at the buffet for dinner and again for breakfast wasn't hot and needed refreshing more frequently.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms, foyer, free bikes and most of all, location. Two rooms had views over the Nagara River up to Gifu Castle and Mt. Kinka. Good gift shop also.
Cons: I would have liked my room to overlook the river and castle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely scenery, comfortable to stay, well relaxed, could forget busyness days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall I was very impressed with the hotel. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The staff were exceptionally helpful and many were bilingual (more so than I have found in other hotels). The breakfast buffet was also very good and excellent value. I travelled by motorbike and was able to park my bike undercover, next to the main entrance (very convenient). The location is superb for both access to the city, the station and (if touring) to the mountains nearby.
Cons: My only critical comment would be that the room could have been better lit. During the daytime this wasn't an issue because of the wide window but at night time it was a little dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good! Selection of Japanese and Western. Both excellent. Staff could be a little more cheerful. Big hotel and nice walking path opposite. River view. Huge car park.

7.9 Good
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Staffs cannot speak English
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast options were mostly Japanese though it was just about possible to put together a more Western style breakfast.
Cons: The room was on the side of the property and a bit dull. Having said that, we did ask for a quiet room, which it was. The hotel fronted a very busy road so rooms at the front would probably have been noisier.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There were washer/drier combos for 500¥ and the staff was fantastic.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent! They were friendly and went out of their way to help me find a gym that allowed guests from out of town. They took the time to give directions and a map so that I could visit the castle, etc. The breakfast buffet was great; it included salad, fish, croissants, eggs, yogurt, and other items to choose from. The location was about a five minute walk from the rail station, and was easy to find. The price was reasonable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very well located (easy walking distance from the station) enjoyable district (lively and calm at the same time, some restaurants and nice cafés in the surroundings, convenience stores, lovely little shops...) the staff is friendly and welcoming and readily helps you if you need any information or have any questions. the bedrooms are very clean and comfortable (and also the showers a.s.o.) the "microwave room" is convenient on the 3rd floor ! the atmosphere of the hotel is enjoyable and relaxing. ps : perfectly suitable for kids (my 7 year-old daughter loved the place !)

Cons: There were coffee splatter stains on walls, doors, under the desk. Breakfast items even freshly bought out got cold quickly. Good range of food though. Particularly liked the omelette. so
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with great view over the city, The location was great with a lo of bars and restaurants close by, the main things to see are walking distance.
Cons: All went really good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A very good and comfortable hotel in pleasant Gifu. Three stars but feels like four. The room was unusually spacious by Japanese standards, with a nice view, a huge and comfortable bed, and a full-size bathtub (another rarity). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was a little pricey, but good and with diverse offerings.
Cons: Need to figure out a way to keep those scrambled eggs from going cold in the breakfast buffet! Otherwise no complaints.

6.3 Good
Pros: The hot spring in the basement as well as the breakfast (included) were very good

7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful breakfast Beautiful personal beauty products
Cons: I didn't realise it was a... Love hotel... No worries... Got the idea by the special things you could purchase in the in room vending machines!!!! The only thing was I couldn't turn off the ceiling mood lights and had to sleep with an eye mask. Had no sleep the first night... But thought it was funny in the end... Won't tell my partner about the experience though!!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: we chose this place because of its close proximity to Gifu and to Inuyama for the festival, as Inuyama accommodation was sold out. Given that it was a love hotel, it was a pretty good place to stay if going to the inuyama festival or if going into Gifu city. large bathtub was great and the wifi was also reliable and fast. check out time was at 12 which gave us a good amount of time to sleep in after a long day roaming around Gifu-inuyama.
Cons: could hear couples in the next rooms (not enough to keep you up at night, but just enough to make you remember that it is a love hotel after all).

Pros: The room and view were both awesome. Staff extremely attentive and did their best to accommodate us after there was an initial problem with our reservation.
Cons: Initial problem with our reservation, but may have been booking.com's fault or just an oversight rather than hotel's fault. Will never know, but was very disappointing when we first heard that a mistake in the number of people (2 people instead of 1 person staying in the room) listed as staying would have resulted in a rate of double for the same room.

Pros: The wifi is stable, room very comfy and clean, breakfast yummy, staff friendly, and located in center of gifu.
Cons: Nothing i didnt like
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, right in front of Gifu station. There is an elevated walkway and an elevator that will lead you to the property which is great if you have luggages. There is also a convenience store at the 1st floor for all last minute needs. It is quite a bit of a walk from the Meitetsu station, around 7-10 minutes, but it will take you to the train to the Nagoya airport as well as the highway buses to different parts of Gifu, I went to Gujo Hachiman for Bon Odori and it was easy to find the bus schedule, the bus stop and the kiosk to buy the bus tickets. This will be a good base if you want to explore different part of Gifu. The breakfast is also filling and the lady at the frontdesk counter is very helpful when I asked for information on flight and train cancellation due to tropical storm Krosa.
Cons: The breakfast lounge is cramped and need to wait for more seats during peak times. I wish the free coffee service is also open before 630am for early risers like me.

Pros: Breakfast, which comes with the stay, had a wide variety of foods to select from, including some western breakfast items. The coffee and tea flowed freely all day. The staff were very friendly and polite.
Cons: Tiny bathroom.

Pros: The location is right next to the station and we could see Nobunaga from our window. There are many restaurants near the hotel. The twin bedroom is big enough for 2 suitcases (1 midium 1 Handluggage) and the beds are wide! The price is absolutely OK with all standarts.
Cons: The breakfast tastes good, but the athmosphere is not nice. The bathroom seems a little old, but it was clean.

6.3 Good
Pros: It’s very convenience because the hotel is near Gihu station.
Cons: There’s a few variations of morning buffet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, literally across from the JR Gifu station.
Cons: Not a big deal but they overcharged me at check-in. I booked for ¥16,400 and they charged me ¥20,800. I didn't think anything upon checking in because I was tired but when I noticed I went to the staff at reception and they apologised for their mistake and corrected it by refunding full amount and charging the correct rate.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The most comfortable room of our trip. A traditional Japanese room with a Japanese bathroom. Lots of room for the three of us. Beds setup by housekeeping was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was traditional Japanese. Gifu Castle a bus ride away was worth visiting.
Cons: Arrived on a Sunday and not much was open in the area. Not that most interesting area to walk around from tourist point of view.
