The resort was very clean and staff very helpful.
The charge for any extra items such as lockers, gaming, reactivation of wands previously purchased for magic quest, basically everything had an upcharge. A family of 4 doesn't normally spend close to $500 a night for Kansas City KS location.
The staff was friendly for the most part. The young lady Tailly was amazing. She was dressed in a fairy costume and super knowledgeable. She helped us understand the quest adventure. She worked in the shop on the third level. The cashier, Gentleman in the store on the second level was so kind and helpful too. And the young ladies in the coffee shop were so nice. So many nice young people in the arcade, swimming pool. Also the story teller and the wolf person in costume. Over all an amazing time my 2 year old, granddaughter had. And that is what matters most to us.
Wear and tear in the room. Some staff members where not to knowledgeable. Or friendly but people are human and maybe they were just having an off moment.
The waterpark was fun. The activities for the kiddos were great! We loved the slides the most.
There was mold on the Frigidaire air conditioning upstairs. The room smelled of vomit when first entering. After a bottle of febreeze the smell got better. The prices in the restaurant were steep for breakfast. I was looking forward to a massage but they no longer have a spa. Sorry moms.
The huge spider made out of balloons on the ceiling of the lobby was so neat as well as the rest of the Halloween decor. All the activities for the kids were really cool and I could tell they were having a blast. The food in the restaurant was really good. I had the salmon and my tablemates had the wings and everything was delicious.
The restaurant was massively understaffed. And the staff that was there were kind of rude. The hostess on Friday night especially. After she sat us we watched her bring another family to a table and didnt even stop to address them as she was seating them. She just set their menus and silverware on the table and kept walking. And the weird thing was there weren't even that many people in there. Just gave us the feeling that we they didnt want to be there. Good news is the food was really good when it finally came out.
Very family friendly, staff was wonderful
