Pros: I like everything about this place - interior, staff, relaxing environment, spacious air-coned rooms (unlike most Hotels in the Center) and fresh nice food and beverages. We were on a business trip, but it felt like a holiday, especially when sitting by the pool with warm water. I strongly recommend this place for business or pleasure. The Center is on a nice walk, or there are busses running too, so even the distance wasnt a problem. Turnhout is a lovely place!

The night receptionist was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was nice, but there should of been sausages to. The tables in the dining area was set nicely and the cutlery was clean.
Cons: The room smelled musty/ damp. It needed freshening up. It might be that the carpet needed shampooing, as we had to leave our room door open for fresh air. Our top window could not open. Some our families room had complimentary wine and we didnt. The iron was burnt, we had to turn it on and use the spoon provided in the room to scrape it off and the box it came in was dirty (stains). No car parking!!

Cons: Most horrible owner couple ever Nothing was prepared, could not find the docs Nothing to eat for late lunch, to sit inside at 39 gr C was by exception, Bc owner had a meeting with other person......to bring a cola extremely difficult and by grace of god... Never again
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was big and comfortable. The old house is quite charming.
Cons: This is an old house, so the rooms are not noise isolated. Meaning that you hear any single steps in the hallway or people just opening/closing the door of their room. Also it is a quite old warming system, which made hard to get the room at the requested temperature. We had booked a stay with breakfast included, but as we had to leave early (at 08:00AM but bf opened only at 8:30) we couldn't have it. No compensation or refund of breakfast was possible either... The personnel could also been a bit friendlier.

Pros: Nice big room with a balcony. Great location directly on the market square. Lots of decent restaurants nearby.
Cons: Walls are too thin/badly isolated. Noises from other rooms or the hallways can be annoying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an overnight stay, with some friends, as we were carrying out research for our visit in September to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Geel in 1944. The hotel is right on the main square, surrounded by bars and restaurants. They have a car park, costing €7 per night, which is reached from the rear of the hotel, the sat nav post code is on their website. We checked in very quickly, the lady on reception being very helpful. She also arranged for the group to have an early breakfast the next morning, as we had to leave to drive down to Calais to catch a ferry. This could be described as a 'boutique hotel', with a predominately green colour scheme, and some very unusaul art in the rooms and for sale, it was actually much nicer than it might sound! I had ordered a singlre room, which actually turned out to be a very spacious twin. There were complimentary bottels of watr in the mimi fridge in the room. The breakfast was very good, with a really good choice on offer. We will be back for a weekend in September, most of us bringing wives / partners.
Cons: Everything was fine. None of our group had any complaints at all.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very kind and they speak english very well. The decoration is awesome , very modern and clean. The facilities are good with a parking inside the hotel. The hotel is in the city centre in the main square with restaurants, bars, bank and beside a supermarket. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. Hotel is very clean, wifi is super fast and the room equipped with AC and screens against insects.
Cons: The minibar in the room was not cooling the drinks very well and the punctuality of the driver who was picking us up from an event we went to.

Pros: the silence!!
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff provided gluten- and lactosefree breakfast on request (before arrival). Staff were friendly. Thanks again to the receptionist who shared her lactose free yoghurt with my mom after other guests had already eaten all the special diatery options.
Cons: The first day, other guests had eaten all the gluten- and lactosefree options (1 hour into breakfast hours) and there was hence nothing (except for cornflakes with water) my mother could eat. For the following days they however set the special options aside in the kitchen and this didn't happen again. The airco was noisy at times.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wanted a double bed...the tv needs to be upgraded...otherwise..nothing really to worry me about
Cons: Wish we could get a 1 double bed..instead of 3 single beds
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nice little town, nice restaurants and bars around, nice (farmers) market place. If you search for this, it's recommended.
Cons: Room has no (or not good) air conditioning, Room under the roof was ways too warm. They didn't let us take a bike (a very special and expensive BMX race bike) to the room. This bike was welcome in 100's of hotel all over the world, but here, it was declined for the first time. We were there for a sports event, not sightseeing, but the hotel did not met our expectations. Parking garage is 10 Eur/night, however, on a Saturday, you can't leave the garage, because there's the market. Nobody told us upfront. Had to park outside (where it's difficult to find a spot). That my car mirror was damaged is not the hotel's fault, but a consequence of not having a suitable parking apace. Will not book it anymore for such an event.
8.3 Excellent
