10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jimmy of the breakfast staff, was especially friendly and eager to please. Excellent hot breakfast offerings that exceeded my expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge breakfast selection with waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee bar, fresh berry water, complimentary cookies, an adequate pool, beautiful rooms, great staff, wonderful lobby, modern decor, clean, bright and inviting! Outstanding hotel and here is why.... For many years my family stayed at the old Holiday Inn at Keokuk. The building was dated but affordable and we met Adrianne. She was the reason we kept going back. When Adrianne left and my aunt purchased a home locally we stopped staying at the hotel but this time we chose Hampton knowing she was the manager. Our room was beautiful, the staff was friendly, accommodating and polite. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff was incredible. When .y cooler leaked on the floor they helped get towels and help me mop up the mess. During breakfast they brought us a set of coloring sheets and crayons for all 3 kids. Provided a pack n play for us when we requested it for our daughter. During the evening they allowed us to take over the lobby area and eat dinner as a large group and allowed my kids to play on the furniture and in the hall out front without one complaint at their rambunctious nature while my family and I caught up on old times! The pool is small and was cooler but the weather this time of year also contributed to that. We had hoped for a hot tubs but it was ok without it! I give this stay a 5 star review. The hotel was so accommodating in the fresh berry water, cookies and coffee bar. Breakfast was so great! 100% for Adrienne and her staff at the Hampton Inn. It was great to stay there!
Cons: No hot tub, seating for breakfast was a bit limited as it was busy. No trays to take our breakfast to our rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, convenient, staff friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was really good and liked they had hot coffee and tea at all times especially since it was very chilly weather.
Cons: The bathroom vanity was a little to high for this short person & a little small.
9.0 Excellent

Cons: Hot tub or spa
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff was very friendly & helpful. The location was great. Enjoyed the pool & workout room.
Cons: Overall, the hotel & room needed to be cleaner or cleaned better than it was. Our room had a dirty toilet & many hairs in bathroom & shower at check-in. Hallways needed vacuuming too. Also our toilet was clogged & they made my husband plunge it because they had no maintenance person available. Oh, the air conditioner in our room was extremely noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast seating area was a little crowded. It would have been better if it was a larger space to accommodate everyone that came for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: Soft water
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent experience! Cleanliness, friendliness, staff were great! The breakfast was also excellent! The young man that was taking care of the breakfast, his name was Jimmy, did an outstanding job, so accommodating and friendly, with a big smile on his face!
Cons: There was absolutely nothing that we could find negative with this experience!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful with locating places to visit when our event was rained out. Great breakfast with friendly staff available for any needed assistance.
Cons: Had TV on in lounge area along with music playing. Very annoying trying to hear the TV over the music.

7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly greeting at checkin, found the room to be quite spacious and very comfortable and quiet. Lighting was good, not to garish, and everything was in good working order. Breakfast room was bright and welcoming and there was a decent variety of choices.
Cons: Upon entering the main hallway to the elevator we were greeted with a rather musty smell which gave us some pause. Same seemed to be tru in the hallway to the second floor, but not so noticeable in the room.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff accommodated my early arrival Staff was friendly Room was clean ( a key criteria for me)
Cons: The facility is showing its age and could use an update. I noted multiple stains (modest but there non-the-less) in the carpet in my room. Effort should be made to spot clean or even professionally clean carpets when needed. If necessary, carpets should be replaced. Stained carpets give the appearance of a dirty room and brings forth questions about the local management and Quality Inns as a whole.
7.9 Good
Pros: Pleasant staff, decent breakfast, and close to a Walmart.
Cons: There was a constant lingering stench which wasn’t disgusting but certainly not pleasant either. Most noticeable in the elevator and bedroom
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and location were excellent. Several places to eat and shop within walking distance. For the most part it was pretty quiet. I really felt that all of the staff cared about making your stay great.
Cons: My room smelled very musty, and I found a centipede on my shoe one morning. That was a surprise!

Pros: It was in a great location and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room decor was updated. Contemporary.
Cons: Replace old fire detector and electrical switch covers with new white ones. The old yellowed ones looked yuck. The side door to rooms was very dirty. The bright yellow wall in eating area cloud be a lighter shade of yellow or call yellow green. Eating area not so clean.

Pros: Location was great as we could walk to our work location. They accommodated us by letting us know by text that we could check in early when the room was available.

Pros: The room was very clean and was renovated in the last year. The owner was friendly and let me stay an hour or so past check out time as I waited for a cab from another state (Missouri). Keokuk only has one cab driver and would only take riders in town.

7.9 Good
Pros: We were surprised and pleased to find a room at all, and especially that close to Nauvoo during the Pageant. And it was inexpensive! The staff was very helpful and nice. Family business. Grandma was folding sheets, mom was running the front desk, dad was fixing something in the laundry. Is nice tho support mom and pop businesses.
Cons: Carpet tacks sticking up through the worn out carpet. But, hey, it is "budget" motel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. They worked hard at maintaining the grounds, nice flowers. Available for any request.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The Location, The Staff
Cons: Cleaniness, We were there for 2 nights and I room was not replenished with towels, nothing Refreshed AT ALL! We had ask for towels. The Room that I rented for a friend was DISGUSTING, it was like they didn't even change the sheets from the night before. We will not be staying again. We have stayed I believe a total of 3 times visiting Keokuk for Geodes.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: First time in the area, but I could tell the owners have good hearts and I would love to see them suceed. We travelled in a group and rented 4 rooms. While the rooms could use updating, all 4 rooms were clean and I was pleasantly surprised for the extra effort the owners put in to making the rooms as nice as possible.
7.9 Good
Pros: We just needed a place to sleep for one night. I liked the Newly remodeled rooms that were clean and had all I needed for a cheap 1-night stay.very basic but comfortable beds and clean
Cons: The breakfast is cereal and snack caked right next to the desk with no where to eat. I guess you take your styrofoam bowl to your room?

8.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff treat you like an old friend. Very accommodating for us and our dog.
Cons: I prefer stronger coffee and healthier selections on the breakfast bar. Oh well - not that big of a deal!
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The staff. They were understaffed and overworked, one employee ended up working a double. Never saw the manager and there was a festival in the area and they were completely booked.
Cons: I disliked everything but the shower. We will not stay there again and we travel to the festival every year. Last year we stayed in a low budget motel and it was cleaner and better maintained. We also heard other guest talking about their room having bedbugs!!! We checked our room and thankfully we didn't see any!!
