8.3 Excellent
Pros: Chassidy was great
Cons: It’s an old hotel, so the configuration is what it is; but it would be nice if all rooms had a window that looked at something besides three other walls.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I didn't eat at the location, my bed was very comfy. The bedding was excellent. The tv channels were perfect. The location is great, there are a lot of businesses close by that I went to. There is a coffee shop next door and a nail salon.
Cons: The radiators made a lot of noise, and they were loud. The downside was the carpets all the way to my room were really dirty. They got cleaner as I went higher upstairs. But the darkness in the landing area and extremely dirty carpets makes it seem like the rooms might not be clean. But I think my room was very clean. The icemaker was also broken, but the staff filled my ice bucket for me.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is good. Very near to walk around the town.
Cons: Bathroom door not working. Very small room. Heater was making sound.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is aged as expected for its location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, I would say is as expected.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Gilmore is an authentic part of the history of Ketchikan. So its location and ambience. The ocean view room was very nice.
Cons: The room we had on the first night, the smoke detector was disengaged. This faced the back side, towards the hill side. Not good.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location! The view from our third floor ocean view windows!
Cons: The heating was a bit of a situation, they were able to provide a space heater. There was no comforters in the room, just thin blankets. We did ask for more and they did provide them. No coffee/water station on third floor.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, gave us a late checkout.
Cons: No elevator, so be prepared to lug your suitcases up stairs. No coffee maker in room, had to walk down 3 flights of stairs to get coffee. No microwave in room. No view (not kidding, wall from other building was 3 feet from window) unless you have a water facing room...which are really loud. Place desperately needs updating. Our room had new carpet, I know this because the carpet tacks were exposed leading into the tiny and hopelessly outdated bathroom and my bare feet found them at 2am. Heat in room didn’t work. Super cheap sheets and pillows. Forget the wi-if, gave up trying. So, why shouldn’t you book through Kayak? Because Kayak makes about 35% (rough estimate) on each nights stay. For what? A pretty website? Their customer service was no help when I asked about moving to another hotel. Lesson learned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and super helpful staff.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: It had a old musty odor, I will never go there again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Much thanks
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for seeing and doing everything in Ketchikan. Near tourist area as well as bus to get out to other areas.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and view was great. The food and service in the attached restaurant was very good! The weather was warm, so had to have the windows open so there was a lot of street noise from construction going on at that time, but the hotel and staff were great. Would definitely stay there again!
Cons: The employees of the shuttle service that the hotel uses could use some work. On the trip to the hotel the driver flipped off someone on the street and was not happy to help with the bags. The trip out to the ship, the driver pulled up at the curb and did not get out to help get luggage into the van. He only got out when I couldn't get the back hatch open. Same thing at the dock, he did not get out to help with luggage. Neither of the drivers were very friendly or welcoming.

Pros: staff was great and ocean outside window!!!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location was great. One staff member was great the other was okay. Breakfast was fine, thank you for having that available. The shower curtain was nice and clean and the water pressure and temperature were great.
Cons: It was a non-smoking room and there were burn holes in my comforter, those should definitely be retired once that happens. There were multiple types of towels available in the bathroom and the hand towel that was displayed had stains on it. I would have loved bottles of water in the room. On my second morning at the hotel someone may have mistaken my room for their friend or family members and they knocked endlessly at 5am scaring me awake (the hotel and I never figured out who did this).
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to town. Nice staff. Air shuttle service
Cons: Old rooms. Paper thin walls. TV's didn't work. No climate control in rooms. Breakfast was sub-par.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staffs was very pleasant and helpful. The two shuttle drivers gave great information and I do appreciate.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Staff did their best to help with what they were given. Great motel for a horror/murder movie. Actually,if you like role playing, you'll have a great time. Got changed to a 3rd room after. Looked just like the 1st +2nd. Only 3 bites on my leg.
Cons: The lights didn't work in the first room and it's wreaked of cleaning agents. 2nd room doesn't look like had been thoroughly dusted. The furniture is super outdated. Still a fairly dimly lit room. Probably better that way. Smoke detector went off for 30m
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Room had musty smell, fun down
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Booked my stay thru priceline.com. Was charged by the hotel on top of what I paid thru the online service. Staff member I talked with to try an fix was very rude. Same staff member was very rude while checking into hotel.

Pros: We stayed at the Star Room which was a separate loft away from the main hotel. This was GREAT- away from the road and in the heart of Creek Street. It was very clean and comfortable. It was a warm day but they had a fan to circulate the air...which was enough. We could look out our window and see the bridge going across the creek. It was very spacious and even had a whirlpool tub.
Cons: I can't think of anything we really didn't like.

Pros: It was very clean and quiet. I didn't see or hear any other guests. The amenities were great! It has everything you need! Even a glass cook top and dishes. And the heated bathroom floor was so nice! I'll definitely stay again.
Cons: The only thing thing that wasn't perfect was the mattress and pillows. It was not very comfortable for me. The bed was hard and a little springy. And the pillows went flat. It just wasn't what I was used to and I ended up with a bad stiff neck.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most beautiful little suite I ever had!!! If I ever come back I’m only going to ask for that room! The service was magnificent and the Spa tub was heavenly

This hotel has facilities measuring 1638 square feet (152 square meters), including a conference center. 6.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, spectacular views
Cons: the tram was out of order which required a big uphill hike to get to and from downtown Ketchikan. This negates the excellent location. the tram had been out since September, with no mention on websites. Rooms are minimally furnished, TV and ice machines either didn't work or were problematic. Cleaniliness only adequate.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Lodge originally had our reservation booked with the wrong rooms, but the front desk immediately made the change to accommodate our request. The view from the rooms were second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Cons: It would've been nice to have an in-house breakfast option for guests. A simple continental or breakfast bar would've sufficed just fine.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and view were wonderful! The staff were great!
Cons: Inconsistent cleaning. One day everything would be done and the next only part would be done. They were very nice about taking care of things though.
6.3 Good
Pros: We love the location of this hotel.
Cons: We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past but the hotel is currently undergoing a management change and there were many problems. Food was overcooked, wilted salad was served, berries were served frozen, the staff could not answer any questions, staff did not show up to serve breakfast and did not send laundry out when dropped off. We hope that the management change will correct these problems.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good food
Cons: Rates .
4.8 Okay
Pros: Location. It is on top of a hill and is quiet. The shuttle drivers were helpful. The front desk was helpful. There is a nice restaurant.
Cons: Unfortunately, the tram to access the town hasn't worked in almost two years! It is a lot of money to spend for a room. There was hair on the bathroom floor, the tub didn't drain very well. I felt like I was paying a 5 star price for a 2 star quality hotel room. There are a lot of snooty customers who go there. The restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed for the type of product they were trying to put out.
6.7 Good
Cons: No elevator. Undisclosed storage fee to store fish in freezer.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location is nice and the elevator to downtown is convenient. Staff was pleasant. Overall a nice stay and decent food at the restaurant.
Cons: Exterior is a little rundown. The trash (cig butts, wrappers, etc) on the ground and stairs around the out buildings was never picked up. The restaurant was closed on Mother's Day but the front desk staff didn't even know that.
