Baan Puteri Lanta Villa

Location was a quick walk into the small town area with a few shops, restaurants, 7-11 and the beach. The rooms were really large and came with a couch area and kitchenette. We were able to book our tour and bus transport from the front desk. The pool is fantastic with awesome views!

We had to pay 100 baht for an extra pillow. Most places give you only 1 pillow per person but this was the first place that charged us to get another pillow during our stay.

Outstanding view from the balcony. Two balconies to be exact! Veeeeery spacious houses! These are the biggest I've ever been to! Big fridge, useful kitchen, great infinity swimming pool with great view! Absolutely everything!

Nothing to be honest... Can't say a bad word!

The house is clean, king size bed is comfortable, it provides slippers, shampoo and body wash. Reception can help to rent motor, and one of them can speak Chinese which help a lot. No food provided by the hotel, but various restaurants near here, you can chose what you want from morning to midnight.

In our view, Katiang Bay was, by far, the most amazing beach in Koh Lanta and the hotel was about a 5-10 minute walk away. The apartment/little house we had booked was huge and had two balconies (one with 2 sun loungers), bedroom, bathroom, lounge/kitchen areas and faced towards the sea so the view was amazing!The pool was fab and was very modern and inviting. We hired a scooter from the hotel for about £6/day and scooted around the island (barely any traffic). We went from north to south on it one day beach hopping and found that Katiang Bay was the only spotless beach we went to - the others do not seem to be cleaned in low season and had a lot of washed up plastic on them, so we ended up just coming back to our beach! Also Katiang Bay is also a bay, rather than a long beach, which meant that the beach was huge, compared to the thinner beaches elsewhere. Although small, Katiang has a wide variety of places to eat. Staff were super friendly and happy to help all the time!!! The hotel provided a private transfer service back to the ferry for 500 baht too, which was the going rate elsewhere ☺️

Minor point - the bathroom was ok, it was clean and had everything we needed but it wasn’t finished to as high a standard as the rest of the property
