Pros: Nice place to spend few days at Koprivshtitsa! Few years ago have been there and see the changes are for good!
Pros: Amazing friendly hosts, beautiful grounds, incredibly relaxing stay! Lovely room, we were made to feel very welcome. The gardens were so relaxing we wished we had stayed longer. Did not have an evening meal here (should have done!!!) but had dessert and breakfast, both of which were fantastic!
Cons: Having to leave! Wish we had stayed longer!
Pros: An amazing experience! All people working there were very and welcomed us with a smile. The hotel and its garden are absolutely stunning. Our room overlooked the whole of Koprivshtitsa. We had a wonderful vegan dinner and a delicious bottle of red wine (which they recommended). And a freshly made traditional breakfast with homemade jams in the morning. You could see the eye for detail in everything, which is what made our stay so wonderful. Highly recommend them and if I go to Koprivshtitsa again, this is the only place I'm staying in!
Pros: Very nice hosts, excellent breakfast and dinner.
Pros: From the moment of our arrival our hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment was spacious, tasteful and had everything you could need. The bed was super comfortable. We had both dinner and breakfast there and both meals were excellent with good choices and professionally served and presented. While the location is a few minutes walk from the town center the location is ideal as it was quiet and peaceful and the garden area was lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to strongly recommend this place for visitors to Koprivshtitsa.
Pros: We found the place via booking.com - it was looking good on pictures, but when we went there we were amazed by the great garden, kids playing zone, sunny rooms and comfortable beds. But what was the most important was the great atmosphere and experience, created by the hosts. They were really warm and welcoming people, who did not spare anything to make us feel at home. Lastly, me and my wife are really picky on food and here we were not let down as well. The morning starts with the most delicious pancakes amd mekitzi with homemade jam and the dinner is homemade vegetarian and meat dishes that you cannot find even in exclusive 5 star restaurants (believe me, I've visited quite a lot of hotels and most of their restaurants are not that good)! So I cannot find words to recommend the place enough - you need to go and experience Diulgerite yourself!
Pros: The food at the restaurant was amazing, the owners are really pleasant hosts. The garden and outdoor facilities are very beautiful.
Cons: The house itself was a little cold, heating was not working, also water in the bathroom was constantly running.
Pros: The garden was very beautiful. There was no bad smell, like some other guests described. Everything was clean. The breakfast was very delicious with traditional Bulgarian meals. The dinner was prepared with local products, no frozen or pre-cooked products. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and professional. If you are going by car, follow the signs in the city as they guide trough easier road. GPS leads via more difficult road.
Pros: Everything was really perfect. The hosts were extremely kind and professional. We will come again very soon. Good value for money. Perfect for families.
Pros: Koprivshtitsa at its best ! We arrived at the Dyulgerite complex after a long road from the sea. It was late and they were waiting for us with a delicious homemade diner with fresh vegetables from their local garden, grilled meat, homemade fries and homemade rakia

Pros: It's an old building house convert to become a hotel. Very authentic. Room is small but it's perfect for 2 person. Hide away up a slope in the alley of other houses. Very friendly host.
Pros: Everything was exceptional! The food was marvelous at the “mehana” (restaurant), our waiter was really nice. The owner was extremely friendly - we had a late check-in, I warned him about it and he reserved us a table at the restaurant! We had the attic room, which was small, but super cozy. The building was old and authentic and we loved it. We have no kids, but it’s kid-friendly. The garden is nice, as well, and has a nice view.

Pros: Gozbarov’s Guest House is one of the best I’ve seen in my life. From the building, location, the kind host and other staff; everything was perfect. And the food, oh the food.
Cons: That we had to leave after one day already because we were roadtripping.
Pros: It was a lovely place with a friendly owner, great food, and a peaceful location. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Koprivchitsa!

Situated in Koprivshtitsa’s city centre, this guest house features excellent spa facilities and a tavern, serving traditional Bulgarian cuisine. A warm outdoor pool with sun loungers can be used in summer free of charge. A free indoor pool is at guests' disposal. A cable TV, work desk and private bathroom with bathrobe is featured in each country-style room at the Guest House Todorini kashti. A varied breakfast menu is available each morning in the Todorini’s rustic style restaurant. The spa centre includes a massage service and a hot tub. Pros: The guesthouse was well situated (but it is a very small place so most places would be!), the staff very friendly, the breakfast varied enough and generous and the pools were a bonus. It did the job but little else.
Cons: The rooms were small, worn and stuffy. There was no ventilation except for an open window without fly screens and the beds were really rubbish - a layer of foam on an old bed covered with an inadequately sized holey sheet.
Pros: Lovely guesthouse with friendly staff even though not much English spoken. A short walk to see everything in this characteristic Bulgarian town. We stayed in the 2 bed apt (1dbl, 1 twin bed) and it was spacious. Lovely typical breakfast included (buffet on wkend, a la cart otherwise). There was a swimming pool, hot spa and bar. Don’t miss the kavarma at Chuchura restaurant while you’re there.
Cons: Would have liked more pillows and toilet paper.
Pros: We had to leave early so they gave us a basic sandwich to take out instead of breakfast. As booking.com they couldn't give a discount instead. Nice room and location and restaurant was fine too.
Pros: Location and service was great ! Highly recommend the place.
Pros: Nice breakfast choice, great location in the centre of the town :-)
Cons: The facilities - the jacuzzi and the water was not very warm and clean
Pros: Location - right in the old town
Cons: Old fashion, small room, no elevator, no AC
Pros: If you want to experience an authentic stay in an almost 200 years old building, with a few modern conveniences such as electric light, fridge, TV, flush toilet, and running water, then this is the place for you. However, after a night or two, the creaking floors, thin walls that are in no way soundproof, very worn old carpets, towels and bedding, with cigarette burns in them and in the furniture, very cramped quarters, and the stink of drains and sewerage from the bathroom that permeates the room, soon gets extremely irritating! The outdoor swimming pool is lovely, and is the best thing about the place, but we only got to swim twice in seven days due to bad weather. We did not use the small indoor pool down in the basement, as when we went down there we found it far too steamy and claustrophobic. The breakfast included In the price is good. Some of the other meals available are adequate but not great.
Cons: This was the most expensive, the most cramped, and the worst place we have stayed in three months of touring Bulgaria, and unfortunately we had booked to be there for seven nights! If you want a really lovely authentic place to stay for slightly more money, then go to the magnificent Panorama Hotel up the hill on the other side of the river. It is magnificent, with very spacious very well equipped rooms, gorgeous bathrooms, stunning views over the village and the mountains opposite, and wonderful hosts, as it is a family run hotel. There was so little space in our room at the guesthouse that we could hardly pass each other, and we had to store our luggage out on the balcony that was about the same size as the room! There was a nasty nail sticking up through the very worn, very old, cigarette burnt carpeting that caught our bare feet or shoes when going back and forth. The stench from the bathroom that smelt like drains and sewerage permeated the room, even though we used a lot of air freshener to try to kill the smell. The bedding and towels were frayed and also had cigarette burns in them. The furniture too had cigarette burn marks. There are only two power points in the room, and both are hidden behind high headboards of the twin beds, and one powers the fridge and the other the bedside lamp between the beds, so it makes charging a laptop, tablet, shaver, toothbrush, etc extremely difficult. The food from the restaurant varies from day to day, probably due to which cook is on duty? Our first night there I was hungry and ordered the pork knuckle that was supposed to be served with potatoes and carrots which I love. It arrived with just a heap of potatoes, and when I queried it the waitress either did not understand English, or did not wish to get involved, so I never got my carrots! Also a small piece of the pork was tender and delicious, but the larger part was charred, dried out inside, and very tough to either cut or chew. Maybe it was a reheated left over?
Pros: Nice food and restaurant. Cozy small indoor pool.
Cons: The room was not really clean. The beds were horrible.
Pros: Location great. Staff wonderful and friendly. Room had a comfortable bed with great view. Inside hot pool brilliant. Breakfast you can choose from menu which is fab. Great value for money. Fabulous other resturant they own 100mtrs away. Great dishes. Will be back for sure.
