Pros: Helen is just an amazing host, the house was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. Breakfast was second to none, all fresh and even home made cake. Helen could not have done any more for us, a fabulous lady and we will make sure we come back again.
Cons: Nothing could have been better
Pros: Me and my boyfriend loved the stay at Shamrock. The house is located just in the middle of a natural paradise and it is sorrounded by just a few traditional houses. The hosts are super friendly and they have a lovely dog that made us company. Breakfast is exceptional with the homemade coissants, jam, break, yoghurt and so on. We woke up smelling the baking bread... IT WAS AMAZING! Totally recommended :D
Pros: The place is great for all who like countryside. Even it is an old house there is nice & modern bathroom.
Pros: Alles was in orde
Pros: Very nice and cosy house, big bathroom and delicious breakfast. Close to Spa-Francorchamps Circuit.
Pros: Clean Bedsheets, clean towels, home made delicious breakfast, the host, the room, surroundings, huge and clean bathroom
Cons: Not applicable
Aux Ecuries De La Reine offers modern rooms and family or group accommodations in the heart of the Ardennes. Parking is free and there is an outdoor pool. The accommodations are equipped with private facilities. The bigger lodgings have a fully-equipped kitchenette. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The outdoor terrace is a nice place to sit during summer. It offers a panoramic view of the valley and the swimming pool. Board games and table tennis are available to use. The restaurant-brasserie serves various international dishes as well as traditional French cuisine. Aux Ecuries De La Reine is located close to the Francorchamps F1 circuit, Coo waterfall and Plopsacoo amusement park. The area is also ideal for walking, biking and other outdoor activities.
Pros: Spacious room, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Nicely maintained property, in typical Ardennes environment.
Cons: Like most properties in the Ardennes, close to "main" road.
Pros: It's our third time back. Perfect location, you must have a mean of transportation other than walking though (so a car, bike, motorcycle, horse, etc...). Great to visit the grandprix tracks, also the city of Spa and surroundings.
Cons: Restaurant missed more vegetarian options, just a suggestion!
Pros: The hotel is super cosy, spotlessly clean and has a great design, being located in the old stables, which obviously went through excellent renovation. The breakfast was superb, great choice, very nice staff, stylish breakfast room. We really enjoyed our weekend stay! and the location is really convenient to get to Spa or go for a hike.
Pros: great location good breakfast large room clean
Cons: not a great curtain - a lot of light in the room mattress needs replacement
Pros: Superb facilities, pool, restaurant and breakfast in the other building was amazing served by very friendly staff
Pros: Breakfast was very good. The connected restaurant was very nice with a good menu and a lively feel to it. The pool, buildings and grounds were very pretty.
Cons: Pillows were a bit flat.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from and the restaurant was good.
Pros: Modern and clean apartment. The apartment itself is really comfortable, with a great kitchen, shower/bath and beds. The breakfast is great too!
Cons: Although the apartment has everything you need, it’s right above the restaurant which results in a very noisy apartment. The kitchen closes at 21:00, but on 1 night it was not before midnight before all the guest left. In the morning, at 08:00 the cleaning of the restaurant starts and during the morning the music goes on again. Because the apartment is situated right on the corner of the road that goes into the village, it’s rarely quiet and relaxing. To us the swimming pool looked murky (like it had been standing still for a while) and dirty; although the hotel told us there was nothing wrong with the pool, it just looked not very appealing to swim in. The next day, the pool was closed. Although the hotel offered to open the pool, we were not feeling comfortable enough to swim in it. We booked this apartment for the swimming pool, so that was a bit of a disappointment.. It’s such a pity, because the apartment itself is perfect, the breakfast is great, but the swimming pool and the sound disturbance outweighed the whole score.
Pros: Very nice restaurant. Close to the racetrack. Interesting remains from WW II at nearby museum.
Cons: Room a little bit small
Pros: The apartment is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a plus, all fresh and delicious. Staff was very friendly.
Located in a historic train station hotel, B&B-Restaurant Porte de la Lienne dates back to 1880 and offers an authentic atmosphere in this beautiful valley. There is a restaurant with a large and small menu card where guests can eat with a reservation. The Porte De La Lienne echoes its location, at the point where the River Lienne flows into the River Amblève. This B&B provides you with romantic guest rooms, classic elegance and a wonderful setting. Weather permitting, the garden is a great place to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. On cold days, the wood-burning stove offers warmth and a nice ambience for having a drink inside. The characteristic bar provides a nice place to unwind with snacks, drinks and some good conversation. Secured storage of bicycles and motorbikes is possible at a small rate.
Pros: Great people in a nice atmosphere. Very old and genuine building. Dinner and breakfast were amazing!
Pros: The owners were super helpful. It was a lovely place to stay and the food was great too. Our room was really lovely with plenty of space.
Cons: This is a difficult question as it was very good. It would have been great if we could have had a TV in the room. We also found the bed a little uncomfortable but that may have been because it was a double bed and we usually sleep in a superking.
Pros: The wonderful home cooked food and cozy feel of the place. Also a little known history shared by Frank the proprietor on how Joachim Peiper's panzer column was stopped in a battle only a couple hundred yards away. Bullet holes are still visible in the masonry!
Pros: Lovely place, great food and Frank & Mary are the two most welcoming hosts you could ever meet, great weekend and I would love to stay there again next year!
Pros: Second time staying here Frank and Mary are perfect hosts. Amazing decor, food and location and will stay again when in the area. The food in the restaurant is without doubt the best I have encountered on my many trips through europe. Parking for motorcycles in the garage.
Cons: I can't fault this place.
Pros: Everything was wonderful. A lovely location on the river, a great breakfast, and a nice bar to sit in at night.
Pros: The room was a good size and the staff went out of their way to feed us on a busy evening where we hadn't booked a table. The room and bathroom were extremely clean.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't great.
Pros: Mary was amazing hostess . Thank you
Pros: Very welcoming and friendly. Great food in the restaurant in the evening and a really good breakfast. We stayed while we were over for the 24hr race at Spa, in easy reach with a pleasant drive through beautiful countryside.
Pros: Very cosy place, decorated with good taste. There is a bar. Nice owners and good breakfast. This place was a very good surprise !
