7.9 Good
Pros: The bed was very comfortable! The entire hotel was very clean and well decorated! It has a nice, cozy, snow holiday feel! Parking on the premises, ski locker room, boot warmers in lockers! Great value added details for a ski weekend. Nespresso machines in the room a great plus! The bathroom was too small for the bathtub,Rm 205. Our sons were in Rm 206, which had a shower. The layout of room 206 was better than 205.
Cons: The windows were dodgy!! Difficult to open, or close, and therefore easy to break. They proudly provide you with 2 comp bottles of water, but don't replace the bottles for the rest of our stay. We were there for 4 days, and rented two rooms for our family! I would not recommend having dinner at the restaurant. On the dinner is 30€, but the menu indicated 35€! That should be rectified! The staff makes an honest effort to give 4 star service. But if they didn't get 4 star service training, the results are mediocre. We waited for 10 minutes to get a nondescript menu, then awaited another 10 minutes for the actual menu to be recited to us, but we gave up and left in time to find a restaurant open in town! The evening before our check out (Dec 26th), we experienced 2, not one, but 2 false FIRE ALARMS! The first one was around 9pm, my adult sons were in the room, so they followed standard proceedure and didn't take the elevators, went down to the reception to find out it was a false alarm. A raclette machine smoked out their private reception area! Okay, it happens...Later that evening, or early next morning, 3AM we were awoken by the FIRE ALARM! We were met by other guests in the hallway 5 minutes into the alarm bursting our eardrums to learn, that once was a false alarm! Yes, these technical troubles do happen. BUT I am extremely DISAPPOINTED in the staff's lack of reactivity! 10 minutes after the alarm started, a staff member did a door to door check asking if there was fire in our rooms? WHAT?! Shouldn't we have been escorted out if they were still unsure if there was fire? The following morning, when we were ready to check out, we noticed that all of management was in hiding! There was no offer for complimentary coffee, or bottled water for our car trip, or not charging us for the spa time we used (only 30 euros)! Absolutely no gesture to compensate for the brutal wake up!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. While our first stay (2 years ago) was great, this time there is a lot that didn't go well. Fire alarm in the first morning to wake up, breakfast just okay, room smaller than last time (yet it was 'chambre Deluxe'), 3 shampoos but only 1 shower gel (for 2 guests). Last but not least we came back to our room at 4:30 PM with the idea of enjoying our spa bath tub but our room had not been cleaned, beds weren't done and towels had not been changed. And it would have stayed so if we had not called reception. So we had to vacate our room so that housekeeping could finally do what they should have done much earlier. After insisting we had 2 shower gels but we found out that body lotion hadn't been replaced. We do not recommend this hotel anymore.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice hotel! Le Bez is very small so no restaurants real close, but you get to villeneuve by 10 min walks where you have lots of options. Clean and fresh, nice lobby!
Cons: You had to pay extra and book in advance to use the spa facilities.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place. Only the SPA was already closed as we arrived (19:00).
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good
Cons: I almost did not fit onto the toilet, my legs was hitting the wall of the bathtub. We did not do spa, because all 3 evenings we spend there everything was booked by others already!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Boutique type. Everything in this hotel is very good design and finished with high quality and details. Super kind personnel oriented to guests satisfaction. Excellent breakfast. Everything super clean and smelly :-)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean rooms, Big bed with a high quality mattress. A convenient location and proximity to slopes. A very good restaurant, a great food and service. SPA is definitely a big plus after a day of skiing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed five nights during the summer holidays. Le Grand Aigle Hotel and Spa was a great place to explore the local area. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. The room was excellent, with an additional alcove where we could store all our luggage. The breakfast was superb, a huge variety of food - from pastries and breads, eggs, yoghurts, fruit and meats and cheese. It set us up for the day. There is also a secure ski room where we could store our bikes, the hotel has excellent riding within a short distance - Col du Lautaret, Galibier, d'Izoard, Granon etc. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes in the local village and nearby villages for dinner and lunches. Overall a great stay. Thank you
Cons: We did find the room very hot at night and ended up with the windows open - I think the heating in the room was heating only, not aircon even though it looked like an aircon unit. It was a very hot summer period to and we were on an upper floor so that didn't help. Access via stairs only

7.1 Good
Pros: Although this hotel was on the main road, it was very quiet. All the staff were very pleasant and obliging. Good breakfast with an excellent choice. Good location, about a 15 minute drive into Briancon, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Also close to the Col de Lauteret and Col de Galibier, both very scenic passes.
Cons: I found the room quite depressing, needed a good makeover, not a lot of room to move about and nowhere to put your cases.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, good bed, rooms were very clean and the closeness of the slopes was a bonus.Staff were friendly and really helpful with our queries. Finally excellent value for money.
Cons: Nothing - all good,
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helped the first day to familiarise with the location. The hotel location was really good, very close to the lifts (few minutes walk)
Cons: The area didn’t have much to do in the evening, however my purpose was snowboarding, so all was great!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The confort of the room and quality of breakfast
Cons: Everything was ok
7.9 Good
Pros: - the location ща the hotel was very good - breakfast was ok (but maybe too expensive for what they offer) - clean rooms
Cons: -to be honest one of the managers/ hostess was not very friendly (the other two were very nice and pleasant!) -no warm ski room - our ski boots were wet and cold, so we had to rent the ski locker near the slopes (25EUR) -SPA consisted of sauna and Hammam only, Jacuzzi was not working -incredibly annoying energy saving lamp in the room that turned on chaotically and kept turning off
8.8 Excellent
Pros: 5 minute walk to the Aravet Gondola, good location, comfortable bed.. bath to soak in. Close to restaurants and supermarket
Cons: Room was quite small, ski storage area quite small as well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff helpful and smiley.
Cons: The boiled egg bath wasn’t turned on early enough - not hot enough to boil an egg.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious enough and very clean. The bed was very comfy. The location was great for our purpose, close to the Aravet gondola and accessing the other lifts. The staff were really helpfull and nothing appeared to be too much trouble.
Cons: It would have been a bonus if the hotel had a small bar for the evenings. As a couple, it is nice to be able to meet/get to know other people staying in the same place and exchange stories.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room small but adequate nice balcony bathroom with a bath. Reception lady with fair very helpful
Cons: Price rise since last year had to pay for a breakfast . Ski room did not have any boot warmers the area to walk to ski slopes was extremely dangerous as ice was never cleared from path. This also was the entrance after 9pm no proper area for a lounge.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location. Nice breakfast. Ski room is practical. Spa is okay. Men's shower did not work.
Cons: Spa a bit run down.
