6.7 Good
Pros: It had a swimming pool and a restaurant with a terrace. The patron was helpful and friendly. OK and good value dinner.
Cons: The climb upstairs, it’s datedness, the floor and bed sloped. Not v good noise insulation.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Christopher and Emanuelle made us very welcome. They made provision for secure parking for our motorbike. The food.. thank you Emanuelle... was the best of our entire trip and mostly sourced locally. This small unassuming hotel tucked at the back of the square in pretty Lacaune is a little gem. Downstairs in the dining room and on the veranda are lovely places to dine or have a drink. The bedroom we had.. the cheapest of the whole trip.. was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit dated and a little quirky but we still chose to add a second night to our booking .

Cons: Although the hotel proved willing to provide non-meat options, the dinner menus reflected Lacaune's pride in being a centre of the charcuterie trade!
