Vila Gale Lagos

The Check in took 30 mins which I found very excessive, the hotel i thought was going to be ore family friendly but on half term week there were only a handful of families there but a lot of older customers, the mini club therefore wasn't on as there weren't;'t enough children, and as far as I could see the entertainment program wasn't really functioning. The indoor pool was a Spa so again not family friendly and we had to wear swimming caps that we had to pay for which seemed excessive. I also had to pay extra for tennis racket and ball hire which at 5 euros each seemed steep, I don't think you should advertise having sporting facilities like this and then ask people to pay extra. The outdoor pool was extremely cool and not swimmable,laslty the breakfast was Ok but again I was expecting a better standard, the fruit wasn't ripe and the cereal selection was basic and not good quality. Lastly the location of the hotel was not very disappointing, it was only .7 of a km to town as described but it wasn't a pretty or even nice walk along a main road surrounded by not very nice buildings which felt a little eerie to say the least.
