10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious junior suite for 4
Cons: No windows just skylights Microwave but nothing to use in it No silverware or other utensils either
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff. David was very helpful with information on wine tasting, restaurants etc. Parking simple, secure parade owned by hotel one block away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We thought the breakfast was a little pricey until we saw it. Bounteous options, beautifully prepared and presented, and staff that really went above and beyond all expectations. The hotel is a perfect choice for travelers: crisp, modern interior, spotlessly clean, great lighting. It offers an excellent location just steps from great restaurants. Perhaps most important, it was VERY quiet. We never heard traffic or another guest.
Cons: We had a difficult time with checking in. First the clerk was adamant that she couldn't check us in without our passports while I was desperately trying to explain that I would have luggage and passports if she would just tell me how to get our car to the property (key streets were closed due to a celebration). Then we were assigned to a room that was occupied. The hotel upgraded our room and comped our breakfast, so they do want to provide good service.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location with parking. Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was very good with eggs cooked to order. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our 2nd time here.
Cons: Nothing. One small thing that would have made our stay even better - if we could help ourselves and get a cup of tea after a busy day.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building. Great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! We were in the middle of all the action. There was a festival while we were there and were entertained by Las Gigantes, or giant figures in elaborate dress. I am sorry to say I forget the name of the man who checked us in, but he was the most friendly and knowledgeable person I have ever met. He really should be manager someday, he was so good.
Cons: Nothing could have been better! I even liked that the small band of trumpeters practiced in the square outside the hotel in the morning!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and the staff were very nice. Would definitely go back.
Cons: Nothing to say
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good as always. Great location. Friendly staff. We love this hotel & have stayed many times en route to our destination.
Cons: Tea/Coffee in the room please!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, modern hotel in a historic building, just steps from the main pintxos area and other great dining options (check out Tondeluna -- definitely have the bread, which comes with a barrel of butter).

Cons: They let tourists in after 10pm when there were mostly pilgrims staying who went to bed at 9pm. They woke everyone up. They could have put all the tourists in a room together
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and style of the accommodation. Loved how your card gave you access and locked your belongs in their locker
4.6 Okay
Pros: Design is Good
Cons: 1) Noisy because of strong door closer on 3 doors and to the bathroom - extreme loud if people going to the toilet in the middle of the night 2) the last guests are coming to checkin at 23:00 3) expensive addons

3
9.2 Excellent (1,621 reviews)
C$ 139+

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was fabulous. Great value for money. The restaurant was fantastic: be sure to request a reservation for diner since it is very small. You need a few months in advance.
Cons: We almost did not have space for diner, but we were lucky that there was a last minute cancellation. Be sure to reserve ahead. The diner is well worth it..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location in order to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and villages, but of course you need a car. Easy driving, not much traffic and well worth the visit. LaGuardia is very close by car and you can dine there if you wish. Comfortable rooms, stunning location and very interesting wine tour (feels like you are visiting the catacombs!)
Cons: I think the breakfast needs improvement (surely they can get better charcuterie for example!) I was not very impressed with the fixed course dinner either. The breakfast area could be used more imaginatively in the evening, with drinks and light bites for example, rather than relying on the small sitting area on the side. I'm sure it could attract more customers later at night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and amenities were great. The location and views are breathtaking.
Cons: Small restaurant needs advanced reservations
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A car is needed for this property as it is located on a hill side in a the middle of the wine area.We were fortunate to have a room with a balcony otherwise the room itself could feel a bit small if you are staying any length of time. Breakfast was good. Parking safe and excellent. Inclusion of wine tour and tasting was a bonus. A visit to Hector Uribe restaurant for lunch is a must visit. Likewise a visit to the Marquis de Riscal Hotel. They are a bit precious about access but insist that you are having a drink at the bar. Be prepared to pay for Wine tasting which can be hard on the pocket. The area however is attractive and well worth a visit
Cons: The piped music was constant all day with very little variation. GPS directions are a problem so be aware. Better to type in Lagardia the nearest town and it is close by.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally good value, one and a half hour Wine Tour, and tasting included, plus mini bar, fabulous breakfast, delicious dinner 30 e extra, super room with balcony and delightful views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything! We Shad a great size room with a large balcony to watch the sunset over the vineyard and mountains.. we did the wine tour which was fantastic, and ate in the restaurant which was delicious.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was great...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a small, modern hotel set in the huge winery and it is fabulous. We stayed in one of the rooms at the top of the building with a massive balcony and the most wonderful views, well worth the extra cost. Staff were great and very accommodating with parking our motorcycle undercover right next to reception. The Wine from the bodegas was exceptional and the breakfast was as good as any on our trip with the best coffee.
Cons: The restaurant was already fully booked when we checked in, it would have been nice to get a message about booking dinner when we booked the room. The wine tour that’s included in the room rate takes place at set times and we arrived too late to take part. Again it would have been nice to be given the tour times when we booked the room as we would have liked to take the tour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view, clean and spacious rooms.
Cons: Some of the staff were not very helpful or friendly. Rooms would benefit from coffee and tea facilities.

Cons: Make sure to call shared of time if you want to make reservations for the restaurant, as there are less tables than rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views, comfortable room and breakfast with a view. Laguardia nearby is a lovely medieval town to walk through.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Our bath room was not properly clean.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Funky, beautiful, luxury
Cons: Building works
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Awesome magical place
Cons: Everything was 5 star
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The setting is outstanding, the wine tour was excellent, the Spa and pool were a great treat after a very hot day. The ambience in the hotel is lovely - a pre dinner drink in the rooftop library and terrace overlooking the hotel, vines and church of Elciego made even nicer but the excellent and not overpriced wines . Dinner was superb in the Traditional restaurant-accompanied again by great and well priced single glasses of wine allowing a tasting menu flight experience without the Michelin star gastronomic fuss! All round excellent hotel with outstanding service in a building by Gehry a piece of Art in itself.
Cons: Nothing - literally.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: One of the most beautiful places we’ve staying in the world. We had the loveliest breakfast with gorgeous views. Their winery tour was very informative and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with love of food, wine and architecture!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow, it’s a wonderful space, location and stay. Worth every penny!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Ambience of hotel was exceptional. Restaurants both superb
Cons: Town is a little isolated
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were all very kind and professional and clearly take pride in working there. The small complementary bottle of wine in the room was nice and the big windows in the rooms were nice to enjoy the view. The spa was great and the wine scrub and massage we both had was really excellent and worth the money. They were welcoming of our baby which was nice. The setting of the hotel and views are stunning as is the outside of the property obviously.
Cons: Look, it's a stunning hotel from the outside but sadly does kind of just feel like a Marriott corporate hotel on the inside, a little soulless to be honest and it's incredibly expensive with that in mind. The bar and library were just a bit...cold I guess. The library smelled a little weird and had no atmosphere so there were not many inviting places to enjoy a glass of wine. We ended up finding a spot in the vineyard itself to enjoy the sunset. The spa and the vineyard setting were really the best bit so we might have got just as much out of the visit but just coming for a spa day and a glass of wine (not sure if they allow this). We ate lunch in the traditional restaurant and had a great wine recommendation from the sommelier (not a Marques De Riscal wine of which there is minimal choice - it's a small vineyard.) Lunch was a bit rich and stiff and we didn't love the food to be honest though the views were nice. They are constructing a new wing of the hotel over the spa so the noise was a bit distracting as well. The wine tour was nice and the cellar interesting but the tasting was one of the most boring I have done in a while - only 2 lower end M de R wines to try - one white and one red, nothing very interesting. I would have rather had a longer tasting with different levels of the wines and more info even if this meant smaller quantities. Overall we were very happy we only booked one night and would not necessarily recommend others stay overnight though a visit to the spa or a stop for a glass of wine would be very worthwhile. They could do with making it cosier inside, the food simpler but better and focussing on people wanting to enjoy delicious wine in a great and relaxed setting with more and cosier breakout areas to sit or encouraging people to see the sunset from within the vineyard itself.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent so kind helpful and friendly...Elisa and her colleague who wears the spectacles ((- cannot recall her name were extremely helpful when our luggage did not arrive from previous hotel. Making phone calls and made all attempts to find out what exactly went wrong . We had problems printing n oil arfing card they also successfully printed it for us These ladies are so suited to their role and understood when someone is in a foreign country with little of the language. Issues can get misunderstood and it can be frustrating for both parties. Just want to e say well done to them and showing kindness and concern They are excellent staff. Thanks again.
Cons: Everything was great. Lots of pillows and coverings for bed which was nice as they were needed.

Pros: The breakfast was very good, which is important to me. It was a buffet and there was a lot of choice, with fresh fruit like water melon and pineapple. I love tortilla for breakfast and there was cheese (I don't eat meat) and a good selection of bread and pastries. I also like a coffee machine so you can get your own without having to ask. My daughter liked the availability of almond milk. The beds were very comfortable, the room was just right with a very nice bathroom. The hotel is right on the edge of the old town so very easy to walk to and a few minutes from the tourist office. I was very happy. It had all the things I wanted, such as a lift, a safe and a mini bar and space for clothes plus two desks.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great and very nice bodega hotel. Private parking, convenient check-in, friendly staff. Large and clean room with access to a small terrace. Nice and quiet place. It is especially worth noting about the excursion to the production and tasting of local wine, which is offered as a compliment to all guests. Typically, such an excursion for tourists costs from 16 to 22 euros in Rioja. Therefore, this is a very valuable gift for any guest. Even for this I can give the hotel an excellent rating. Otherwise, the service was also excellent.

Pros: n/a
Cons: nothing all good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Helpful staff. Modern rooms. Powerful shower.
Cons: Shower leaked a lot. The safe didn’t work. Dodgy hair drier which sparked and sounded faulty, however a replacement was provided as soon as we requested it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The most amazingly comfortable bed .....
Cons: I would have preferred a more private bathroom . If you were travelling with friends it would not be very private !!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location for both bar and pinchos areas.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location! Friendly staff. Incredible city with wonderful shops. A gem!
Cons: While I loved the location, the night life was a bit loud (wine festival) which made sleeping a bit difficult and getting a cab the next morning impossible.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The shower in the room was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff and excellent location
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel in the old part of town. Staff was great! Above and beyond. The front desk attendant lent me her personal umbrella, when I asked to borrow one from the hotel.
Cons: The hot water in the shower did not get quite hot enough for me. It was a bit tepid.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very unique small castle with a tower to observe the Rioja wine region.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice, I usually rate a room using bed comfort and the beds were comfortable. There was a good amount of room and “it was in a castle”! Parking was a little bit of a bear, however, we were able to fine free parking, close to the castle. During our stay we were able to most of out sightseeing and wine tasting by foot. We had no problems with the staff and were able to get all of our luggage to the room without having to use the stairs. There is no elevator.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, near the center with a beautiful walkway outside. Breakfast is tasty and bountiful - yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, ham, cheese, croissants, coffee etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little old and not so modern, but it's very comfortable, with large bedroom and bathroom. Be sure to climb to the top of the tower (not difficult) for a spectacular view of the entire area around LaGuardia.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing and so romantic, the view from the top of the tower was spectacular, the best view of wine country.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and conveniently placed
Cons: Would have thought for the price there would have been more facilities like a kettle in the room, would have much preferred that than a mini sauna. Had a very pricey meal in the restaurant but was very disappointed as the meal arrived cold.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and room Staff super friendly and helpful Wonderful location
Cons: The shower was difficult to use and very slippery The restaurant/café were closed on the day we visited
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great position to get into the centre of the town. Great big comfortable bed in a lovely room in a historic building.Helpful staff at reception. Amazing views from in and around the hotel.
Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant was not open the 2 evenings we stayed, a Sunday and Monday so we didn't get the opportunity to try it as it has good reviews. Not a complaint, we were just unlucky. Not the easiest place to find parking but it is a beautiful old traffic free town so expect a walk to the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful part of the Rioja, cute village. Bathroom had a great bath. The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: The room was large, though a bit dated (very big, old massage chair in the corner???) and could offer an extra chair or bench to put your luggage on. Quite expensive I would say, we expected a different room based on our reservation. But overall a great experience.
7.0 Good
Pros: location excellent restaurant closed so we went out
Cons: we did not really engage with the hotel because the restaurant was closed we loved the town and its bars and restaurants however
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: No staff!
Cons: It was not good! No staff Horrible beds

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and private
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well located basic hostel with nearby parking at 12E. Eventhough in city the room was quiet.
Cons: Parking about 400 m away.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Next to a Catholic Church
Cons: We arrived to what seemed like construction happening in the next room and it lasted for about 1.5 hours. The host of the hostel didn’t tell us where to find the Camino or how far off the Camino we were.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is in the heart of Logrono, and the staff was really helpful and considerate. The rooms are clean and cosy, and the floor is secured with 2 locks.
Cons: However, the building next to the room - which shares a common wall, apparently - was undergoing reconstruction. There was drilling and hammerring during working hours - therefore, no sleep after 08:30 h. I understand this is outside of the property's control; however, it was a huge downer for our stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Close location from bus station and easy walk to the old town.
Cons: Beds were basic so an upgrade in bed and sheets would be nice.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Shower regulator was broken, only scalding hot water. Bummer when you need a shower. Asked for a 10 euro refund after they tried and failed to fix it. Seems the steady stream of pilgrims is providing money regardless of the upkeep. Go figure.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very near bus station.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to bus station and central to town
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Great price. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. A perfect night rest and alternative to a hostel for the Camino. Would stay again.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Great location
Cons: Bathroom was dated and showed signs of water damage.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is close to the old town and reasonably priced for the quality of accommodation. I would recommend this hotel
5.4 Okay
Pros: The room was spotless clean. Staff was friendly
Cons: Very overpriced. I could feel the springs in the bed, the curtains didn't close totally, the view from the window was the back of a building.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable and bedding was high quality. Location was great for shopping and the old town
Cons: Garage was good but very tight and quite expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet for 10 euros was good deal. Spacious enough room, big bathroom, great location, nice staff. A good value overall.
Cons: The ac vent in my room blew straight into my face which i hate. Turning the vents didn't fix it. Lost one night on sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very. Enteral location with lovely big rooms. Also very quiet with very comfortable beds. The male staff member who runs the bar and breakfast area was very professional with a lovely manner.
Cons: We had to ask to have the bath towels changed as they were grubby. This was done very quickly even though reception did not appear to believe why. The male Receptionist was a bit cool in manner.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bath after doing the Camino
Cons: The first guy was a bit abrupt but the hotel was so comfortable
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location superb lots of bars/restaurants nearby
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The first room 209 was below everthing we have experienced on our two Caminos. Badly maintained furnitures, beds so old and soft that sleeping in them would have hurt our spines. The bathroom old old fashion and no maintenance done for years? So asked for a different room and where lucky to have been offered 605. That room was renovated some time ago and was in much better shape. All in all.... still not a 4 star hotel and the attempt to store us in 209 totally inacceptable. 605 is okay but compared to rooms we had in other casa rurals still below. Breakfast was above standard, especially the freshly prepared cakes served by the kitchen’s chef.
Cons: The attempt to store pilgrims in such a torn down room is shameful.
7.1 Good
Pros: Spacious room, comfortable beds, nice bathroom.
Cons: Could hear doors from other rooms closing but not a problem during sleeping hours. Would have enjoyed a coffee maker in the room.

7.9 Good
Pros: Location close to centre of town. Close to Calle Laurel where good eating can be found.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an excellent hotel. The staff really helped us so much (they spoke excellent English and did not make fun of my pathetic Spanish), we could not have done our Rioja visit without them, nor made our super early train. The location is perfect, just on the outer edge of the old town. It is just off the famous Laurel street, which we found too crowded, but the perfect access point to the rest of the delightful old town. We had an interior room, which was very quiet with really comfortable beds. We did not have the breakfast, but had a snack of coffees and bocadillos (sandwiches) at the restaurant that were really great. Highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing, really.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property was a good location & very clean. Staff great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the tapas grazing district that makes a visit to Logroño worthwhile.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: As 80 Euros went missing from our suitcase, we started not to like things.
Cons: 80 Euros went missing from one of our suitcases. We are confident it was in our suitcase before we entered the hotel because more than one of us checked this. We found the management unable to take responsibility for this, with Marta Del Valle telling us that it was 'impossible'. I thought I could trust the 'four star' hotel, but instead they took advantage of the traveller and tried to tell us it had gone elsewhere when we knew it had gone missing at Hotel Gran Via. Unfortunately, all innocent and hardworking members of staff at the hotel become under suspicion, however we want the member of staff who stole our money to realise that we are confident they stole our 80 Euros at Hotel Gran Via and we will write about this bad experience in our review so perhaps for others who had money/items missing but could not be sure that the hotel cannot be trusted possibly because of 1 member of staff and for future customers who do not want their cases searched for money/items which could be taken. All the usual comments: lock cases, don't put money in cases, use the safe, if that can be trusted for valuables, we even see some people putting a type of cellophane wrapping on to seal cases, if your rushing to a function like we were and do not secure valuables don't expect to see them when you get back at hotel Gran Via, if you have had something go missing but was sure it was at the hotel but not 100%, or elderly and can get confused at times, at Hotel Gran Via they will tell you it was impossible!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms clean great location
Cons: No iron
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location Very comfortable beds
Cons: Parking and breakfast was a bit expensive.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, quiet and nice. Very good location.
Cons: Parking space was too narrow. It was difficult to park in the hotel designated carpark. When we spoke to jotel staff about our difficulties rhey suggested parking in the public car park which was right opposlte the hotel-it was very close, convenient, more parking space and safe. Price wise public car park costed the same as hotel caR park -€20/day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, courteous staff
Cons: The first room offered had a strong cigarette smoke odor. The staff promptly replaced it should not have happened. Amenities like a small hair conditioner and skin lotion were not offered and I missed them ...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is lovely
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern and clean, bed very comfortable.
Cons: Hot food for breakfast was cold and appeared to have been our for a long time.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, not far from bus station and old town. The staff is very nice and helpful but need to be more careful! I think more people would like to come if they have a better arrangement about the free visit they offer even they need to pay for that!
Cons: They are supposed to give us a free cellar visit , that 's one of the reason why we picked the hotel. However, I have email them about the details but couldn't get response. When we arrived, we found that the visit time didn't suit our itinerary, we need to find another one which they suggested us to take a bus and walk for 20 min. When we got off the bus, the google map showed the walk was 1 hr 45 min and we were in the middle of nowhere, so we walked for around 45 or more after asking and asking. We arrived place after someone called a taxi for us! If the woman in the reception didn't say only 20 min walk from the bus stop, we may not go like this! Walking under the big sun and heading to nowhere!

Overview Reviews
The Hotel Villa de Laguardia is a 4 star hotel with character of 5. Under an unprecedented natural environment, it is specially designed for couples or families looking for a relaxed stay, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Good wine and gastronomic routes are some of the activities that you can find in the hotel. The hotel has 84 rooms and an excellent spa with the latest wine and olive oil treatments. It has two magnificent restaurants, the Medoc Alaves and the Bistró the Villa. We advise you to tour the provinces of Logroño and Álava on horseback and feel the freedom that the environment offers us. We also have a swimming pool, wine cellar, wine cellar and extensive gardens for children's play. Pets are allowed on request with a maximum weight of 8 kg with a supplement of € 20 for day. Ask us about the terms and conditions.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Although the attendant wasn't very nice, the breakfast was very good, and what we like the best was that they offer a Gluten Free bread and biscuits
Cons: They sell you a complete SPA with indoor pool, but when you get there they say that they had a leak and had to close the SPA. To compensate for the trouble they offer you a lousy 20 minutes back massage.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Dated
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel was very nice but now atmosphere
Cons: Rooms
7.1 Good
Cons: I payed for room with spa access, but unfortunately spa was closed!!! If I knew what before, I would choose deferent Hotel !
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Big room. Had an enjoyable dinner in hotel restaurant.
Cons: Quite expensive. No hot water on final morning. Not enough information in room about hotel & town.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, quite quirky with great view. Pity there is no kettle to make tea. Ate in the restaurant on both nights we stayed and were very impressed. The food is delicious, very well presented and reasonably priced. There’s also a good choice for breakfast. Used the gym which was good for a hotel gym, but the only downside is it’s opening hours as it doesn’t open until 10am. The garden is a lovely place to sit and relax and there’s a handy garage across the road that sells drinks, crisps, chocolate etc. Great location for Laguardia only 10 minutes walk. Would highly recommend
Cons: No kettle in room Gym opening hours
8.3 Excellent
Pros: People are beyond wonderful. Great bed and selection of pillows ensured good rest. We were given a crib for our baby upon request. And breakfast was quite good buffet. Very good location.
Cons: Outdoor swimming pool closes on 15th of September, which IMHO was not clearly stated on the info section. Spa and the gym are nice but with too short working hours.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room & hotel areas excellent
Cons: Restaurant & food poor.

7.9 Good
Pros: Nice location, clean facility.
Cons: Do not try to park a car at the hotel, as there is a very small car elevator and then tiny parking spaces in the garage. HARD mattress. A/C unit did not work well. No wash cloth, and when asked for one, the desk staff offered a shrink-wrapped sponge. Cleaning staff took it away the next day without replacing it for us.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: First and foremost location, breakfast, helpfull personnel speaking good English, view from the highest floor at old town.
Cons: Only best memories, nothing to mention.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were finishing our stage of the Camino in Logroño so the location was great, just over the bridge as you arrive into the city. The hotel is also 5-10 minutes from the main tapas’ streets and this suited us too ie a short stroll away. The jacuzzi and sauna were great facilities and the spa/gym areas were spotless. The breakfast buffet offered reasonable choice and the staff were friendly/helpful throughout. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and nice sink/mirror space in the bathroom.
Cons: I think we may have been unlucky in our room but I found it quite dark and lacking in natural light.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room and shower were pretty spacious. It was convenient after a long day on the Camino but not in the center of the old city.
Cons: Nothing
