8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and the design of hotel.
Cons: Nothing for kids, its a pity that they dont warn you that the hotel is not for kids at all. We didnt miss a kids corner, we missed the possibility to use the wellness and pool for kids. And and hotel guest you have to make a reservation for dinner, otherwise it can happen you dont get a table. Just wondering why they dont ask at breakfast if the guests would like tho have also dinner in the hotel or not - especially cause there are not many possibilities for dinner in the surrounding.

7.9 Good
Pros: The location is good and the hotel looks nice from the outside. The rooms are very basic and it is like going to a 1970's time warp. There was a fan in the room which was great since they do not have air conditioning and it was a hot night.
Cons: The staff was competent but not outgoing. We speak German fluently so it wasn't a language barrier problem. Our breakfast experience was strange. The waiters were not friendly and ordered us to sit at a certain table and questioned us about our room number and if we were eligible to have breakfast there (we were!). We probably won't go back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very peaceful and quite easy to find. Close to a few big supermarkets. Breakfast was standard 3* one, offer was fresh, and staff was quite friendly, eager to assist and help you. Choices are various (both sweet and salty) so anyone can find it's preferred dish.
Cons: Although it's quite basic accommodation, the friendly staff and other positive remarks I've written make up for everything. I honestly have no negative experiences and look forward to visiting again.

4.0 Okay
Pros: breakfast was good the room had a nice view the bed was comfy staff was nice
Cons: the reason we chose that hotel above others was the indoor pool. the water was cold!!! we couldn't swim in this freezing winter weather. the only one with warm water was the small whirlpool, you even had to fall in line, and worse still, you need yo go out and freeze first before you can jump in. then when we checked if we could do massage, it closed way too early!! then the tea in the spa were not replenished and the floor was wet, with no one constantly mopping it. we should have been told upon check in! hence, we were not able to do what we wanted in that place at all. it was a waste of our time
6.0 Good
Pros: The greeting was friendly and we were able to get our room already at 2:30 pm. We had an "upgrade" to a small suite which was spacious. The relaxation area with swings and comfortable chairs was quite attractive and the indoor pool is quite large/long. The selection at breakfast was very nice (though one breakfast room is much brighter and more stylish than the other).
Cons: Our "upgrade" was a room which was in the oldest part of the hotel which is (in my opinion) in desperate need of an update, and extremely far away from the spa. It was not at all the atmosphere that we were expecting based on the booking.com or hotel website photos and description of the hotel. Sadly we found a considerable amount of mold in our shower. I showed pictures to the staff and they offered to come look immediately. The staff was very apologetic and offered us a small discount and some wine and snacks. Also, for me, the bed was far too hard. We were not impressed with the restaurant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and spa is great. Personnel is also quite nice and friendly. our room was big as well.
Cons: When we arrived the room was not super clean. we have found lots of dead mosquitoes next to the windows.Cleaning lady come right away after we told about it. Room could have had a water kettle.
Orange Wings Krems - Krems an der Donau - Building

7.2 Good (1,286 reviews)
C$ 84+
Overview Reviews
The Orange Wings hotel in Krems: a clever idea for your stay in Lower Austria. Spend the night at unbelievably inexpensive rates in an attractive hotel with a modern design. The Austrian capital, Vienna, is less than an hour's drive from Krems: your gateway to international transport.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is clean and nice.
Cons: The extra bed is not comfortable.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The price was OK i guess, considering the other accomodations in the area, although still high for this kind of hotel in my opinion. The location, although in an industrial zone seemed safe and the automated check in process worked well. The lady at the reception was friendly.
Cons: I tend not to give negative reviews, but this time I'm making an exception. I understand that this is a budget hotel, though the price is not as budget as you'd think considering everything. Our room smelled badly of mildew which was quite alarming, the walls had some kind of spots which seemed to be painted over (probably old mildew). Lights in the bathroom work with a sensor and tend to turn off while you are inside and won't turn back on. All in all not the best experience.
5.0 Okay
Cons: It's not been the first time for us but unfortunately this time was the worst. The bed in the room we were put in was unfortunately totally uncomfortable, the mattress and the bed were really old! Please replace the mattress! Also this time it was very noisy, it seems that the people above us were dancing or jumping around.

Pros: Parkhotel Krems is situated next to a quiet park within walking distance of both Krems old town and the museums in Stein neighbourhood. The hotel staff were all pleasant and service-minded.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very clean hotel and our room was huge for a double, the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful, we don't speak German and it was a bonus that he spoke English and also recommend a place to eat. Excellent service
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Too much presence of catholics images.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Was also well maintained on a daily basis with cleaning and fresh towels/bedding. Excellent location within Krems right next to the city park. Easy to get around and explore on foot and also has plenty of public transport easily accessible. Breakfast provided was of good quality and with a wide variety of options available.
Cons: There wasn't anything about the stay I found to be negative. All expectations were met and everything was accurate based on what was advertised.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location close to city center, restaurants, shopping
Cons: extremely outdated, no modern conveniences, very limited services...:(

6.0 Good
Pros: Safe storage for our bikes. Just a short walk into the centre and local restaurant.
Cons: Rooms had all kitchen facilities with two plate stove but no pots, pans, kettle or any implements. So kitchenette was of no use and no tea or coffee making facilities. No fruit whatsoever at breakfast.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Rooms are smelly
7.0 Good
Pros: the staff
Cons: the price of 60 euros per night
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly! Late check-in system works very well! Proximity to university main Campus is perfect!
Cons: The variety at breakfast wasn't outstanding but nothing to especialy complain about.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The entire place was like being on campus, which it is. The room we had was wonderful, very clean and comfortable. They had a safe bike storage for our bikes and everything worked. The place is huge though and a bit impersonal. Very different from your hotel or a guest house experience. We first thought it was too far from town but really, 10 min walk. The breakfast was ok, fruit of some sort would have been a nice addition.
Cons: We though it was a bit overpriced for that kind of a college accommodation but it was still very good. We had a deluxe room so maybe that’s why.

Pros: It’s an old hotel that has been full refurbished. We were upgraded to the suite room 34. Close to the train station. Everything is close by. Also the best part, you have access to a private garden with benches, bbq and hot tub. I will definitely stay again.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: The room didn't have AC, or extra personal products (like body cream or showercap). It felt more like a hospital room than a 4 star hotel. Our bath tube was broken.

Overview Reviews
Located in Krems an der Donau, Hotel Wein-gut Hutter is within a 10-minute drive of Steiner Tor and Danube University Krems. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We drove from Vienna to this place and got free parking. It’s not at the center of Krems but we can take a walk for some exercise. We had a clean and comfortable room. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Our room is close to green vernal vineyard, very peaceful scenery. We had a fantastic meal here. After a week traveling in Austria we were sort of tired of meat. However, we enjoyed a good dinner here with tasty soup, fresh vegetables and nice sparkling wine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: For the breakfast I would expect richer choice and more food available.
Cons: Improve the breakfast.
6.7 Good
Pros: Right among the vineyards with modern guest rooms, nice terrace, swimming pool etc. Staff generally accommodating.
Cons: Make no mistake, this is not a winery! So no wine-making facilities etc. No dinner served on Sunday nights and pool closes at 4 pm the same day with no personnel on site (an issue for late check-in). Breakfast ok but nothing special. Self-service fridge for wine a plus but at full restaurant price.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really nice property, lots of cozy nooks, lovely garden, room was spacious for all three of us.
7.9 Good
Cons: breakfast not a buffet. a bit expensive for the offering.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is perfect, in the middle of the vineyards. Weather permitting, the small pool was perfect for chilling and the outside terrace beautiful for food and drinks. The substitute room (see below) was very nice. All employees were very friendly and helpful, esp the dark haired young lady who checked us in and also on another day did service in the restaurant part.
Cons: Mainly the new management And their way of running the place. We were given a room type different than what we booked according to pictures - the room we booked was in the main building and had regular windows, but we were given a terrace room in the annex, it had a complete glass front, only way to air it out was by opening the door which didn’t have a fly screen so all kinds of creatures walked and flew in when we opened it to have some air. The full glass front also meant we had to choose between sitting in complete darkness (due to only very heavy curtains being available, not the gauzy type) or on stage for all passersby. When we asked for a substitute room, the reaction of the manager was very unprofessional (basically she belittled and laughed at us) and the room that was offered cost €10/night more, which we grudgingly had to accept bcs we didn’t want to spend our remaining two days in the area looking for something else. Will not return to this hotel which we have been to many times prior and like in general, only because of the new management.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great, unfortunately the weather was not O.K. for having a dinner in the vineyard. Terefore we will come again soon.........
