Residence Lenno

Great location, nice pool and clean rooms. Great value for money. 2 mins walk to the lake and nice restaurants and great ice cream in the neighbourhood.

Only thing that we can complain about is that there was no big mirror in the room. We were attending a wedding and it's nice to see how you look all dressed up.

The parking is a free public parking which is heavily used by local residents. It gets filled quickly in the morning and during the day. Getting the spot there might be a problem. At night it was empty. In high season I doubt that you can get a spot there at all (I was there in last wee k of April).

Nice simple apartment with all the basics. In a great location and our apartment had partial waterviews. A nice outside terrace which was great to sit and relax with a morning cuppa or vino in the evening. Close to some great restaurants and a ferry terminal with fairly frequent ferries. You check in at the hotel and felt so welcomed every moment we walked through the doors. Also close to a beautiful walkway that runs along the lake

If you are there for a longer period it is missing small things like hooks for towels and shelves for bags/clothes. All very minor though. We’d recommend and hope to return someday.

The residence Lenno is basically a small apartment building affiliated with the Hotel Lenno which is about 800m away by the lake. To check in you have to walk to the hotel, and there's no dining room etc, merely an apartment. It all smelt a bit stale as the place was locked up all the time. On the positive side there was air conditioning, a pool on site, and free internet. There was a partial view of the lake from the balcony, as well as ample on site parking, which was a bonus.

The check in experience. After a long drive we weren't expecting to be unable to buy a simple drink, and to have to navigate to the hotel 10 minutes away.
